About: I have taken care of dogs for family, friends, clients and coworkers for several years. I love animals of all kinds and am reliable, communicative, and pay close attention to pets in my care. Currently I work nights Sunday through Wednesday, so I’m currently not available for overnight stays on those days. I can stop by after work in the morning and throughout the day for check ins or walks. Thursday through Sunday (during the day) I’m available. I am happy to provide references and am also open to meeting in person beforehand so that I can answer any questions clients may have. I follow instructions to a “T” and will provide top quality care for your pets.

I have a degree in animal behavior, experience working in veterinary clinics, and have been training dogs since 2015. I’m very attentive to safety (secure doors, safe feeding, clean spaces) and always make sure your home is left just as you expect. About: I have had dogs and cats, and taken care of other small animals for my family for years. I understand the bond of families with their animals and respect that! I am retired from full time work, but do participate in volunteer activity. A part time role of caring for your pet as needed will best fit my schedule. Or providing in home care for your pet while you travel will work as well. I am happy to come and take care of your pets in your home, where they are comfortable in their own environment. I respect the pet owners preferences on how best to care for their beloved pet.

“Kevin was the primary care giver. He was helping me care for my husky with a wound. Kevin was patient and gentle with my dog. I was unsure how to get her foot soaked for 15 minutes twice a day. I am disabled and the vets office wasn't giving me any good advice. He showed me how to get her into the tub and keep her there for 15 minutes without over stressing her. He was very impressive. About: Growing up my family had 3 pups of our own and we also fostered, so i started learning how to work with and train dogs very early on. In 2022 I started dog sitting for people in my neighbourhood. In 2024 I worked at a daycare where I started doing training sessions for some of our clients. By 2025 I got certified in pet CPR and first aid, and started working at a different daycare. I love learning about and working with dogs, and i can’t wait to meet yours! I use a training/care style that makes trust and teamwork between me and your dog, i understand that when setting new expectations or training a new skill it is up to me to help the dog understand, not get frustrated or scare them into submission. About: Grief has allowed me bond with dogs. They are so loving and caring. My dogs get me through the day. They recognize when I’m having a rough day. Wake up, get outside. I always make sure my large dogs rest before and after eating. Do not want their stomachs to flip. Walk my dogs every day no matter the weather. The exercise and fresh air is great for all of us.
