Sally A.

“First meeting went well. Sally is kind and was aware of the surroundings at the park where we met. She was understanding about our fearful rescue Portia. So that was just a meet ‘n greet. Our second dog, Baloo, happily walked at her side. Will be booking more walkies with Miss Sally!”

Calyn H.
“I've seen how attentive Calyn is to her own cat's needs and how loving and caring she is for him. Her love and sympathy extends to any animal she comes across. She's always ready to care for them and get to know every unique personality. I also know that she can sympathize with owners who have left their fur baby at home for a couple days—I watched her cat for a couple days last summer while she was away. She knows how stressful it is, and so she will be able to provide great communication and an excellent service.”

Mikendra B.
“Mikendra is very good with pets. She watched my dog Jumper for me a couple weeks ago and he loves her. He was happy to go on walks and play with her. Would definitely recommend her to take care of your fur babies!”

Stormy M.

“We first started using Stormy to house sit for us then we got a puppy, she has been with us for 2 years now. Very trustworthy, always friendly, and the best part she takes amazing care of our dog Zig!”

Arita G.
“Arita loves animals and would do a great job watching and helping dogs. She currently helps care for two cats and has helped to care for dogs in the past, with great success.”

About: My husband and I work as a team to care for our two rescued pups Cooper Male (age 7/8) beagle mix & Leeloo Female (age 5/6) lab mix. After being together for over 12 years we have come to the realization that life is so much better with dogs in it. Update Dec 2019 we have had to put our beautiful LeeLoo ( LabRot Mix)down just a few days after Christmas 2019 she was suffering with Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer) and in sever or pain and suffering. She will be missed. UpDate March 2020 We have added a new rescued little guy to our little family his name is Oliver and he is a beagle young cuddly and playful. Untill he gets more socialized we will need him isolated from guest dogs for everyone’s safely and comfort. My husband and I work alternating shifts. Meaning one of us is almost always home. We are open to both long term and short term pup guest in our home. We have a 6 ft privacy fenced in back yard. We only host pups from the same house hold, so know your fur babies will only be here with our pets and no unfamiliar others. All guest dogs are treated like one of the family. Group walks their coming, hiking in the state park their coming, beach day their coming. Car ride their coming. Husband and I work opposite shifts allowing someone to almost always be home. We just plug guest pups right into our regular dog routine. Our dogs go for walks 2x a day morning and evening, we just hook up the new arrivals and take them with us. This gives a sense of routine and comfort to dogs in our environment. They just do what our pups do. We have a fenced in yard and 2 great pups to keep your fur babies entertained. Having a dog companion in a new place we’ve found helps new arrivals get accustomed to the routine. Even if they are unsure of what’s going on following around our furry guys tends to help them get what’s happening.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since I was 8 years old, and I’ve been the go to person for pet sitting around my neighborhood and for family members. I just graduated from Ball State and I plan to get a Wildlife Veterinary Medicine certificate from Purdue online. I will have plenty of free time for all of your dog’s needs. I will follow any direction that the client give me to maintain safety of their pet. At home I have 12 acres of land and two german shepherds roam freely, 3 indoor/out cats and a 15 year old pug that requires a lot of care. They all have a tracker on their collar for safe measure, they all get plenty of exercise and play time.

About: I’ve always had a helping hand when it comes to animals. Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me to care for their animals. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for on weekends, and some weekdays after 3 I have a big yard with a lot of space for your pup to play in. I can also crate your fur baby if needed.

About: I have been obsessed with dogs as a child. My parents told me I couldn't get one until I proved I was responsible enough to care for one. After a year of staying on top of the chores and responsibilities my parents gave me. I was finally allowed to go get my puppy and have been involved with dogs ever since! I have now done a 6 week in person dog training course. That came with basic dog first aid and nutrition. If you have any questions feel free to ask! You can find my business page at Solid Foundation Dog Training on facebook! I am currently setting all my own hour for work. I full time train dogs so i often can change my hours if needed. I would love to walk and check in on your pups to make sure they are as happy as can be. When we are not home our youngest pup is in the crate and does great. The older 2 stay in the laundry room and the hall leading to the kitchen with just a gate keeping them in there. They are fed 2 times a day morning and night. They get brushed a lot because of the shedding and they get snuggles on the couch every night. I love training and learning how to train them to do new things.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, always had at least one in the house. I was trusted growing up to watch and house sit for my friends families if they went away for a weekend. I have some techniques that work pretty well training wise but haven’t had training per say. I live out in the country so there’s plenty of room to take walks and have a big yard, it isn’t fenced in but still plenty of room to roam. I do know of dog parks up north near me as well as some in Fort Wayne that I take my dog to often. I work two night time jobs for only a few hours on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Usually only 3.5 hours max on Fridays and Saturdays. I’m all for learning dogs routines if watching your dog for an extended period of time. I would prefer to bring my dog with me if staying in your home but it is not a deal breaker, I do have others that will always help with my doggo so I can help you with yours! My dog, Tabby, really has enjoyed meeting new dogs in the time that I’ve worked through Rover, she loves bigger dogs, she’s still not sure around smaller dogs but only because she hasn’t have enough experience around them.
