“Kristin was absolutely wonderful with our dog! She was reliable, communicative, and genuinely cared. She kept us updated while we were away and made the whole experience stress-free. Our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We would definitely book with Kristin again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

“We feel so lucky to have found Valerie—she was truly a blessing! This was our dog’s first time staying with her, and from the moment we met her, we could tell how much she genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she watches. It immediately put our minds at ease. She even invited us over for a meet-and-greet a few days before our trip so Maisey could get comfortable in the space ahead of time, which we really appreciated. Her backyard is huge with plenty of room for dogs to run and play—perfect for Maisey since she loves being outside. Valerie also kept us updated with lots of pictures and messages during the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely book with her again!”

About: From training four puppies from birth to senior citizenship, I've always loved dogs and they seem drawn to me. I want you to enjoy your vacation while your fur baby is being loved and having fun in their home away from home. Experienced with specialty diets, medication dispensing and senior dog care. SAHM with three dog-loving children who are at school on weekdays. School routine starts around 6:30-7 a.m. and kids are gone by 8:30. I will take your fur baby outside for supervised morning, mid day, afternoon, late afternoon and evenings multiple times for exercise, walks, play time and potty breaks. I have a full privacy fence on a 3/4 acre lot, plenty of yard to run and play and take walks. If requested, I can come to your home multiple times a day for services needed such as potty breaks, walks, play-time, etc.
“Judy and Hampton had another great stay with Ladonna and Andy! They get treated as family members and feel the love during their stay. Receiving daily pictures for 9 days helps to ease my anxiety over leaving them behind. It's so nice to go on vacation and not have to worry about my babies; I know they're safe and happy! I will not hesitate to leave them under their care again.”

“Jonathan is great he spoils my dog, takes Bruno to the dog part plays with him. My dog has ear problems, and Jonathan, makes sure that he keeps his ears cleaned and updates me if there’s any problems. This is the second time I used Jonathan and when me and Bruno up this time, Bruno was so excited to see Jonathan. That how I know Jonathan is taken care of Bruno as if he was his own dog and I just love that for Bruno. I would definitely recommend Jonathan.”

“I always worry when I board Sebastien because you always hear horror stories. It's not a facility you can go in and inspect, so you rely on reviews and scrutinize profiles and hope for the best. I didn't worry about Sebastien at all after meeting Adria. She was personable and detail oriented and the exterior of her home was clean and well maintained. She sent pictures and updates and gave me notes on his food. She was also not overwhelmed by his high energy antics. He came home happy and clean! It's such a relief to find someone trustworthy, and I highly recommend!”

“Imelda is such a sweetheart! She did such a good job taking care of my big baby boy Henry LOL he is so sad whenever I leave and she was able to pull him out of that funk and keep him entertained while I was gone. She also was able to take care of big guy Lou and keep him said well the whole time lol. Thank you so much imelda, they can't wait to spend more time with you next time!”

“Kathy steeped in at the last minute to take care of my old sweet pup who gets a little nervous in new situations. She was super caring and flexible and took great care of our sweet pup!”

“Arnelia was great with my dogs! She sent many photos and videos, and she ensured they were comfortable playing with the other dogs in the home before allowing them to run around together. We also had a meet-and-greet prior to their stay, which was helpful to ensure it would be a good fit. She has a wonderful fenced yard for the dogs to run in that she keeps well maintained. Arnelia provides training and grooming during their stay and was able to quickly pick up on their training needs. The dogs seemed very happy while they were there. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
