House Sitting in Alamo Oaks

About: Animals have always been my passion and your pet's well-being will always come first. I work in a very timely manner and am proactive to let you know about how your pet is doing! I am in the process of becoming a certified dog trainer and spend 30+ hours volunteering at the animal shelter. I have open availability for the summer and would love to help care for your furry companion! My schedule is Sunday - Saturday, with earliest appointments at 8AM and latest at 8PM. Caring for pets in your home requires trust and respect. I keep to the main community areas of your home - this generally includes the living room, kitchen, and backyard, as well as access to one bathroom. I will assume any other place as off-limits unless otherwise specified. Supplies such as leashes, collars, harnesses, treats, etc. that you provide will be returned back to their original location at the end of my stay. Keys can either be left in a hidden lock box or on my person - I take care to properly label and safely store any keys to ensure they are returned when needed.

About: I have grown up caring for dogs and cats and I started pet sitting at 12 years of age! I am responsible, I pay close attention to small details, and I will love your pet like my own! I am a helper and want to make your life easier! Whether you’re gone at work or on vacation, I want you to know that your animal is safe and loved while you’re away! I currently have a flexible schedule and can do drop in visits, overnight visits, and dog walking! Right when I walk in the door, I’ll say hi and give the animal attention if they want it. I read the room to see if it will be a cheerful introduction or a more mellow hello. I make sure that all their needs are taken care of and that they get extra love before I go! I play ball and go on walks for fun exercise with the dogs! I play with cats and love on them too! I also know about animal behavior from past jobs and volunteer puppy raising for future service dogs, so I understand when an animal needs a break or a boundary made- with me or others.

“Tina was an amazing overnight dog sitter at our house! My dog is a rescue and is very nervous around other animals, so we have to have the dog sitter stay at our house when we can't take our dog with us. However, she warmed right up to Tina and they had a great time together. It was a 4 day overnight job. Tina was wonderful about sending updates and pictures, and she was detail oriented in giving medications. Will definitely use her again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 15 but I have loved dogs all my life! Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their beloved pets. I'm currently working part time and part time school at home.. My schedule is very open this summer as I do not have any school and I only work Monday and Sunday's sometimes at a restaurant but my hours are very small so I am home for the most part. :) I have a fenced patio with a small grass area for a short potty break. I also have plenty of grass in my neighborhood for walks. Even though I work part-time, I have plenty of time before and after work to care for your fur baby, I won't be gone for too long but if your fur baby stays at my home, rest assured that I also have a loving mother at home who has a strong love for animals as-well!

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love and patience for every pet, combined with hands-on experience caring for puppies and senior dogs alike. I understand the unique needs of young pups, like training, socialization, and gentle guidance, as well as the extra attention and care senior dogs require, including medication administration and gentle exercise. I’m highly attentive to each pet’s personality and health needs, making sure every walk, play session, or rest period is tailored just for them. Safety is my top priority, but I also focus on making sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Plus, I’m reliable, communicative, and always quick to update you with photos and messages so you feel connected and confident in the care I provide. I take my dog on daily walks, and I have free time to love on other pups too! I take care of my dogs as well as other dogs food, water, medication, and any additional needs they have. Sadly I do not offer boarding services at this time. I hope to in the future, but until then I'm sure your pup and I will have a great time in his own home.

They were my heart, and I miss them deeply, which is why I’m so excited to spend time with other pets here. I work Monday through Thursday and every other Friday or Saturday, which means I have every other weekend completely free. I'm always available on Sundays. I love filling that time with walks, play, and quality pet time. When caring for pets, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, loving environment where they feel secure and cared for. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs—from feeding schedules and medication to favorite toys and walking preferences. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I also prioritize clear communication with you—sending regular updates, photos, and quick check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every pet like family, and I’m committed to creating a safe, positive experience for both you and your furry friend.
