“What a great family and dog sitters!!!!! The kids know hope to care and lead dogs. Hoada and Fawzi are warm, calm and welcoming. The trust and confidence in dog care is solid. A great spot for dog care!”

About: I have owned pets of diverse age and size, from litter age to senior dogs - their love is sublime, and their ask & needs endearing. I am a health care industry remote working professional who enjoys spending time with my senior pug, Ginger. My residence is on a 1 acre lot with a private valley, and controlled gated access. The house also has a hummingbird colony that calls it home for decades. I love to take Ginger for walks, and engage with other pet lovers, in a world where everyone is plugged into their devices. I recognize its a huge responsibility and an honor to take care of your pet. I also travel and the need to have a loving caring home for my pet has been a major area of concern. Pets are very sensitive to changes in their routine, and absence of their care provider, and need a caring home while they await your return. With that in mind, it's important to provide both comfort - food, rest, play time, bio breaks - and also reassurance in a moment that can be stressful. I recognize the need that disruptions can cause their bodily routines to change, and those moments need care and understanding. I am fine with that. I sincerely hope that when their stay with me is complete, and they are back in your arms, they look back with a wag, as they hop in the family car for the trip home.
“Sharmistha was fantastic. She provided a really comfortable environment and backyard for my dog to stay. She had other dogs which my dog loves. And this was during a time when we were moving, so Zoey had more anxiety than we have seen before. Zoey had a hard time staying at a pet smart a few days before this, so we were worried she would also have issues with Sharmistha. But her stay was just perfect. Thanks Sharmistha!”

“Matthew provided excellent care for our two poms while we were away for the weekend. He played with them, took them on walks, sent us pics each day, and communicated with us frequently. Our dogs were so happy and content when we got home, so I know they were well cared for. I would definitely recommend Matthew. He is a true dog lover and a responsible sitter we can trust. Thank you!!”

“Diana took really good care of our two dogs and was wonderful at communicating. She was very patient and gentile with our 12yo pup and they both looked very comfortable at her home. We received plenty of updates and pictures!”

“Daisy did an amazing job caring for our dogs while we were out of town. From the moment we picked them up, we could tell they had a great time-they came home happy, sleepy (LOL), and clearly well-loved. They got plenty of play time with Daisy's kids and their dog, which made it feel like a true family environment. Knowing our dogs were treated like part of the family meant everything to us and gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Thank you so much Daisy and family for taking such great care of our pups! We highly recommend her and would absolutely book again!”

“Thank you Frank and Thao for taking such great care of Louie. We appreciated the pictures and updates and looked like he had so much fun playing with Walter in the big backyard. We were comforted leaving our fur baby in your care and will rebook again!!”

“Our dogs came back super calm and content after their stay with Peter and his family and dogs. I appreciated coordinating pick up and drop offs as well as getting pictures and updates throughout the stay! We look forward to using them on our next trips.”

“Kelly and her family ( daughters and husband ) are excellent of taking care of our girl GG. Kelly sent us many pictures of GG getting TLC and on many walks. We will be repeat customers for sure! Thanks again Kelly !”

“We absolutely loved the care Sony received! Navneet treated him with so much love, patience, and attention, as if he were her own dog. It gave us great peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. Sony was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. We truly appreciate the updates and the genuine affection she showed him. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care! 🐾💕”

“This was a great experience!! This was the first time our dog stayed with someone we didn't know and Ruth made the process so easy. We felt so relaxed knowing our dog was not only well taken care of but loved! Ruth sent constant updates and photos to keep us informed. We would definitely return and highly recommend Ruth!!”

“Jennifer and her family took great care of Yomi over the week and when we missed our flight home, she was able to take care of Yomi an extra day which we were very grateful for. Yomi looks like in great condition and we got daily updates and pics from her. Thanks so much and we will definitely be back again!”

“Ulumna has been perfect for my dog Lexi. She loves Lexi and cares for Lexi. This is the most important quality that I have for a Rover care giver when I travel. Lexi has stayed many times at Ulumna's house and she will return many times as I travel frequently.”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. There's something special about just being present with them. I’m also a proud mom to two animal-loving girls (ages 8 and 10), and together we dream of having a house full of animals... if only we had the space! I am self employed so I can set my own hours. I love to be outside. I walk my own dog everyday. Happy to take animals on walks, play with my own dog or even go on a hike. I live on ½ an acre with lots of grass and a fenced in backyard. We live right near the Iron Horse Trail so walks are encouraged. =)
“Lexie was well understood and well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for more! Our dog is a tricky one with senior issues but Trisha and her family knew just how to address her difficulties and make her happy and comfortable. She fit right in with their family! I’m very grateful to Trish and I highly recommend her.”

“My senior Raven of 15 years came home so happy and well taken care of. She probably got more attention with Virginie and Max and the girls than I would have given her at home. So I am pleased and should Raven need another vacation away from home, I will not hesitate to call this lovely family again.”

“This is Loveleen's second time with Casey and I have no worries at all whenever Loveleen is under Casey's care for doggy day care. I highly recommend Casey's services as he is very communicative and is flexible on drop off and pick up timing. This will not be Loveleen's last time with Casey!”

“We left our beloved Buddy (a 9 years Weimaraner) with Peter for three weeks while we traveled abroad, and I can’t say enough about how phenomenal he was. This was the first time we’d ever been apart from our boy for so long, but from the very beginning we felt at ease. Peter has such wonderful energy. You can feel it immediately, and so can the dogs. When he first picked Buddy up, our pup was elated, as if he had known Peter forever, even though he had only stayed one night before as a trial. Buddy hopped into Peter’s car with pure joy and never looked back, which gave us so much peace of mind. When Peter brought Buddy back, our dog was thrilled to see us, of course :) but what struck us most was how happy and comfortable he was around Peter too. As a dog parent, that is the best reaction I could ever hope for: knowing my boy felt loved, safe, and genuinely happy while we were away. Peter and his dog, Phoe, are truly the best companions you could ever want for your pup. We feel so lucky to have found Peter, and hope anyone reading this will be just as fortunate to have their furry family member stay with him.”

“I am so grateful to have found Xue on Rover! She was incredibly cordial and took such great care of our 5month old puppy while we were on vacation. Xue went above and beyond by sending us daily updates and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“We have had the pleasure of having Betsy as our pet and house sitter twice now, and she has truly exceeded our expectations both times. The first occasion was in July 2024, when we went on a nearly three-week trip and needed someone to take care of our two cats, Ringo and Paul. Betsy did an outstanding job, and we didn't hesitate to book her again for the first week of January 2025. Betsy is incredibly trustworthy and reliable. She kept us updated with pictures and messages about our cats, which brought us great peace of mind. Ringo and Paul absolutely adore her and follow her around the house. In fact, she gives them more attention than we probably do! 🐾 Not only does Betsy take excellent care of our pets, but she also leaves our home even cleaner than when she arrived. She handles small tasks with ease and is delightfully agreeable. Communication with Betsy is a breeze; she's friendly and always keeps us informed. We couldn't ask for a better pet and house sitter. If you are looking for someone who is caring, responsible, and communicative, look no further than Betsy. We highly recommend her services!”

“I had a last-minute need for someone to check in on my dog due to a flight delay, and Hailey truly saved the day! She responded quickly, was flexible and reliable, and kept me updated throughout the entire process to ensure my dog was well cared for. I’m so grateful to Hailey for stepping in on such short notice and would highly recommend her for any future pet sitting needs. Thank you, Hailey!”

“Eva was great! Very responsive and genuinely wanted to make sure that our kitties were well taken care of while we were gone. All 3 of our kitties quickly warmed up to her and we truly appreciated all of her help.”

“We had Adaley sit our shy and “sassy” cat during a 17 day trip and it was such a relief to see her daily reports and her efforts in ensuring our cat was well taken care of. We really appreciated her help and have already booked her for another shorter trip!”

“Trevor was fantastic! My puppy couldn't have been happier that he had been over while I was away. He communicated effectively, was polite, timely, and in all regards, was a perfect person to stop in during the day.”

“As always, I know I can count on Lara’s support. She is very reliable, a great communicator, and Frankie loves her! Don’t hesitate to reach out to her for help with your furry kids!”

“Allison did house/pet sitting for 3 nights when we are away. She was awesome! She was very responsive, gave updates and sent photos everyday and managed to get along with our not so social cat. Our cat was happy and she left home tidy and clean. Definitely will hire her again for our future trips.”

“Stephanie is the best! I’m such a worry wart with my pets and I always trust her whenever we are away. She goes above and beyond. You can tell she truly loves the animals she watches.”

About: I have always had at least one dog in my life, so not only does my love for dogs run deeply but so does my knowledge of care. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable, fed, watered, and has gotten time to be outside to play and go to the bathroom. In addition, I have taken care of other peoples' animals throughout my life. As of right now, my weeks are open to taking care of your pets in whatever way they may need. This is my top priority. When taking care of your pet I make sure they always have water and food, have time for potty breaks, and are comfortable. I also always give them plenty of attention, cuddles, and love. If there are any special instructions, I also make sure to give the specific care your pet needs.

About: I have taken care of my cat for six years. I pick up her litter and feed her kibble every night before I go to bed. I feed her lunch when my parents are not home, I clip her nails, I give her baths, and I roll a ball that she likes to play with.
About: I adopted my four legged friend 7 years ago and have dedicated all my free time to training and adventuring with him. I adore animals and love being able to train and spend time with them so that they can enjoy the world as much as we do! I have been pet sitting for friends for nearly 10 years for both pups and kitty’s, I grew up with cats and pet sit my best friends when I need some kitty love. I am currently between scientists jobs so I am available pretty much any time we’re not on overlanding, camping or on backcountry adventures with our pup! I take a soft approach to training and care, as my boy was a rescue and very tentative with people and scared of nearly everything. I am happy to discuss care with owners and want to keep to your commands, care, and schedule because I know how important it is for our pets!

“Highly recommend Maya! Maya provided drop-in visits for our two dogs and four rabbits, and everything went smoothly. Communication was great throughout, she was always prompt, and it was clear our pets were well cared for. We really appreciated the reliability and attention. We will be booking Maya again.”

About: Dog walking and dog sitting was my first ever job! I have dog walked and dog sat for my friends, my family, and worked for local dog walking company for a couple years—taking care and walking multiple dogs a week. I have also cat sat for many years and volunteered at an animal shelter and have lots of experience with different kinds of dogs and cats. I love my pets and would love to care of yours like they are my own! I’m currently working part time from home and have availability during the day for dog walks. I am also available on some weeks/weekends for dog and cat sitting! I have a fenced yard and a very walkable neighborhood for dogs. I can crate dogs and take dogs on walks. I also have had dogs in this home and currently have 1 friendly cat.
About: Hi! My name is Zoey, and I am a 21-year-old looking for opportunities to make sure your dog gets what they need while you are away! I've taken care of dogs for many years, but have taken more official paid positions in the last 4. Recently, I have worked to board dogs for families around my college town for periods of up to 6 hours to allow these families to go out for dinners, to the movies, and more without the need to worry about their dogs at home. I have walked dogs for local families regularly, helped take care of special needs dogs on check-ins (such as those with neurogenic bladder), and have dropped by houses to feed, play, and give love and affection to their dogs. When I was 12 years old, my sister and I took it upon ourselves to train our neighbor's golden retriever, Sandy Cheeks, to heel so that we could take her on walks and she would be easier to handle. We successfully managed to teach her, not just how to heel, but also how to come when called, shake, and roll over (quite a feat since many goldens don't love to learn how to roll over). Since then, I have loved learning how to handle dogs of all types, working with slightly reactive dogs, to energetic dogs that don't know their own strength. I am a dog enthusiast! All my life, I have loved dogs so much, but my parents were allergic and refused to get a pet. Finally, in my senior year of high school, my parents got a medium-sized golden doodle and surprised my sister and me. I cried. I can not express the level of joy I experience around dogs. Many of my friends could attest to the connection I have with dogs when I meet them. They are shocked by how much their dogs love me right away. What they don’t know is that I have carefully researched ways to approach dogs and read their body language to determine how they would like to be interacted with. I am a researcher at heart. I am an undergrad in college who has worked on multiple graduate-level research projects in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, biology, and sports studies. When I fell in love with animals, I made it a mission to know how to handle them and treat them with the care they deserve. Where to pet the dog, how to walk up to a dog, what sort of eye contact to make with the dog; these are all examples of how I have learned to pay attention to dogs and respect their boundaries in order to create deep bonds. I am my dog's safe place; she will come and sit between my legs when overwhelmed because she trusts me to protect her and not to treat her the way she needs to be treated at that moment. I would bring this level of care, passion, and enthusiasm to every workday and hope to strengthen the care and play experience of all dogs. I have worked with dogs of many breeds and many ages with many different needs. I have experience with nervous dogs, hyperactive dogs, reactive dogs, super intelligent dogs, stubborn dogs, and hypoallergenic dogs. I am an athlete, and my athletic and strength training have allowed me to handle strong dogs on lead, heavy dogs, and aggressive dogs that pull or suddenly jerk. My athleticism is particularly handy with highly energetic breeds. My own dog's favorite hobby is getting chased around by me or chasing after me. I have also been known to take dogs on runs with me or hikes. If your dog has a particular routine that involves going for a morning run, I would be the perfect candidate to keep that habit up while you're away! I have held many part-time jobs, and I am consistent and reliable. I am a great candidate to take care of your dog in any way. Consider me for all your pet care needs! I am an early riser! If you'd like a walk for your pet, morning, noon, and afternoon walks are the best! I like to schedule my pet care throughout my day, such as in the morning, at noon, and in the afternoon. It depends on what pet care you need from me, but for a home drop-in, I prefer to have time to take your pup out, feed them if necessary, get them used to my presence, calmed down, and give them a little treat before I take off. I am free for a large majority of the time. I work several part-time jobs at the moment, so scheduling around shorter shifts is no problem for me. I am extremely responsible with other people's properties. I am a detail-oriented person and not one to make mistakes or leave a mess when in another person's space. I follow the philosophy: leave every place better than you entered. In this case, I would leave your home better by giving your dogs care. When your pet is with me, their safety and emotional state are my number one priority. If I need to transport your pet anywhere, I am an excellent driver and have never once been ticketed or gotten into an accident. For walks, I have experience with animal safety and protection from other pets and wild animals. With small dogs, you never have to worry about a potential coyote attack or a larger breed biting the dog. I take dog safety very seriously and prepare for every walk with proper equipment, extra food for the dog, extra poop bags, and water. I will always switch to walking a dog or multiple dogs on the inside of me when passing other animals. I am also experienced using treats to maintain a dog's attention. I will never force your dog into any situation that their body language tells me they are not okay with. I am detail-oriented and good at shutting down potentially dangerous situations before they occur.
“Fei is amazing, she allowed me to enjoy a long weekend without having to worry about anything. She is a Pro - very consistent, communicative and observant. She went above and beyond my expectations. She won over my very shy and timid cat in a short period of time. I could tell my cat felt loved and cared for while I was away. I will definitely contact Fei again for future getaways and I highly recommend her.”

“Houda & Fawzi and their lovely family were fantastic with Zoe (3yo pit bull). Their children are amazing with the dogs and there’s so much of their property to roam for Zoe. Zoe was exhausted, well fed and much loved when she came home. Thanks!”

“Matthew was absolutely amazing with my Bear. I was initially a little nervous to hear how the first walk went given my dog’s fondness of squirrels. Matthew’s confidence, care and warmth toward Bear made him feel at home, like they have known each other forever. I highly recommend and plan on consistently booking. Thank you Matt!!”

About: I have had pets since I was a child, including cats and dogs. My family and I have had our current cat and prior cats from kittens, and our Golden Retriever Arnold since he was a puppy. I have the option of working at home full-time, and spending time cuddling your fur baby or taking him or her for walks and/or runs. I have a fenced yard and a friendly golden to keep your dog entertained and show him/her the ropes. I am happy to have a lap dog, or a more active dog who likes to fetch, swim, walk, or run.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience and genuine love for every dog I care for. I provide personalized attention, daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. Beyond just basic care, I focus on creating a safe, loving environment where your dog feels happy, comfortable, and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s teaching new tricks, keeping routines consistent, or giving endless belly rubs and cuddles, your furry friend will be in caring, reliable hands every day. Pet care is a top priority in my daily and weekly routine. Every day, I dedicate time for walks, play, feeding, and any special needs your dog may have. Puppies get training sessions and extra attention, while senior dogs receive gentle care and monitoring. I structure my schedule to ensure consistent exercise, socialization, and rest for every pet in my care. I’m flexible and reliable, making sure your furry friend’s routine stays consistent even when you’re away, so they feel happy, safe, and loved at all times. I provide loving, attentive care at your home. I follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions like medications or training exercises. My goal is to keep your furry friend happy, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. Whether it’s puppies needing extra attention or senior dogs requiring gentle care, I make sure every pet feels safe and loved in their own environment.
“JP did an amazing job with my husky on a last-minute request, he has a beautiful and safe house and large yard. He sent lots of photos so I could see how my boy was doing and I saw all of the activity he was getting with play time and walks. Their dog Arnold is clearly very friendly and was great company. Will rebook with confidence any time”

“My dogs had a great day with Brittany! She sent a ton of updates and I didn’t have to worry about them while I was at work! She made our shy rescue shepherd mix feel at home and kept our rambunctious corgi entertained! Thank you Brittany!”
“Nicole was a great day care for my dog today! We arranged a little meet and greet the weekend before, which was such an amazing touch. My doggy came back happy! I would definitely reach out to Nicole again :)”

“Excellent stay! Easy to communicate with and so grateful that they had availability last minute when my baby Moo needed a safe place while my fire alarms were worked on. Thank you! Will use again!”

“Sharmista was kind, loving, and caring with our 1 yo Maltipoo, Yoda. She was very considerate and gave us updated with how he was adapting to his first time at her home. Yoda, enjoyed it and came home happy. I would highly recommend Sharmista!”

About: I have done pet care on Rover for about 3 years now, and cared for animals all across the spectrum. Dogs who need medication, cats, puppies, senior dogs, you name it. I’d love to give your pet the love it deserves! I will do whatever is needed to care for your pet. I will follow any instructions that are needed and will make sure to do it with 110% of my effort! Your pet’s wellbeing is very important to me.
“Highly recommend Dylan! He’s local, super reliable, and great with my puppy, Olivia. He has two small dogs that Olivia absolutely loved playing with, which made her experience even better. It’s great to find a sitter where your pet gets both personal attention and social time.”

“Vicki has done such a great job helping my anxious dog feel relaxed and safe. She is very thoughtful and caring and really went the extra mile to make my dog comfortable.. And she takes amazing pictures!!”

About: I love all animals! I grew up with dogs and even owned a couple reptiles. Currently, I care for one boxer and two cats. My animals range from sleeps-all-day to playful and high energy, so I will be able to handle any pet personality. I love all my friends’ pets and yours will be no exception! I’m currently on summer break and have plenty of time to play with your pets! Contact me and I will do my best to make any time work. The necessities of dog and cat care are routine for me, but I will be sure to pay close attention to any special care needs or requests left by owners.
“Aubrey has been walking our dog Buddy for several months and is amazing! She truly cares about Buddy and is very trustworthy, responsible, timely, and a great communicator. She always provides pictures after each walk and we know Buddy is in great hands with her. You will not regret hiring Aubrey!”

About: I have always had pets since I was born and currently have a dog and two cats. During the week, I have plenty of time to care for your pets, and have very flexible hours. I work part-time, so I hope to care for the pets during my free time! Whether in my house or my clients house, I always make sure I keep my eye on the pet. If caring for the pet in my own home, I do have a fenced in backyard.

I have many years of experience handling and caring for dogs of all ages, including basic obedience training. I am constantly keeping myself educated with dog behavior and training techniques. I have a Maltipoo, Melo, who is very friendly and loving, and will help keep your pup happy and active when they stay with us. All dogs will be walked 2-3 times a day (weather permitting) for at least 30 minutes each walk, fed as needed, and provided with fun activities. We have a small, enclosed yard where your pup can enjoy some fresh air, sun-tanning, and additional exercise. We also have a beautiful greenbelt right behind our house where there is plenty of room for your dog to roam and play. I know first hand how stressful it can be to leave your 4-legged family member with someone (for both the human and the dog!) so I send daily picture/video updates during your pup's stay so that you can relax and enjoy your vacation! Daycare rate may apply if stay is longer (for example, morning drop-off with an afternoon or evening pick-up) -An additional charge for puppies under 2 years of age and to holiday bookings Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, and I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

“What a great family and dog sitters!!!!! The kids know hope to care and lead dogs. Hoada and Fawzi are warm, calm and welcoming. The trust and confidence in dog care is solid. A great spot for dog care!”

“Kelly and her family ( daughters and husband ) are excellent of taking care of our girl GG. Kelly sent us many pictures of GG getting TLC and on many walks. We will be repeat customers for sure! Thanks again Kelly !”

“Judith watched our 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog for two weeks while we were visiting family on the East Coast, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Having our sweet senior boy with her felt like leaving him with family. She sent us regular photo updates, gave him so much love, and really understood his needs. Judith is wonderful with dogs—especially seniors—and had no trouble giving his medication and keeping a close eye on him. We’ll absolutely have him stay with her again.”

“Thank you very much for her sense of responsibility and love for the dog. With the support and help of the whole family, my furry child had a very happy few days of vacation. I’m happy to rebooking next vacation time.”

“Jake very much enjoyed his time with Chris. Jake was nervous at first, but Chris calmed him down within a few minutes. When I met Chris for a meet-and-greet with Jake, I knew he would be a competent caregiver for Jake and he didn't disappoint me.”

“Kane had the BEST week staying with Angela and Randall and fam. He was well loved, walked, and cuddled. They got to know him immediately and that warmed our hearts. They sent pictures regularly and replied to our questions promptly. We will definitely be booking again!!!”

“Bhumi took a very last minute reservation for my pup over the holidays. She was also very flexible and kept her for an extra night because my flight home was delayed due to the weather. I know Roxanne had an exciting time on her vacay because she slept for two whole days when she got home. Thank you SO much, and Roxanne says thanks for the homemade treats!!”
“This was my first time using Rover, and since we’ve had our dog, Comet, for only a few months, I was feeling really unsure about the whole process. Allison completely put my mind at ease. It’s clear she has a wealth of knowledge and experience with dogs. She has now watched Comet on multiple occasions, both for overnight boarding and daycare. Comet is always so excited to go back, which is the true review right there! He has so much fun that he usually needs a full day of recovery when he gets home! If she's able to she will take Comet out for a walk but there is so much room for him to run around and play in her yard that he always finds a way to get all his energy out. Allison is incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and consistent with sending pictures and updates throughout the day. I definitely recommend her and plan to continue entrusting her with Comet's care.”
