About: I have owned pets of diverse age and size, from litter age to senior dogs - their love is sublime, and their ask & needs endearing. I am a health care industry remote working professional who enjoys spending time with my senior pug, Ginger. My residence is on a 1 acre lot with a private valley, and controlled gated access. The house also has a hummingbird colony that calls it home for decades. I love to take Ginger for walks, and engage with other pet lovers, in a world where everyone is plugged into their devices. I recognize its a huge responsibility and an honor to take care of your pet. I also travel and the need to have a loving caring home for my pet has been a major area of concern. Pets are very sensitive to changes in their routine, and absence of their care provider, and need a caring home while they await your return. With that in mind, it's important to provide both comfort - food, rest, play time, bio breaks - and also reassurance in a moment that can be stressful. I recognize the need that disruptions can cause their bodily routines to change, and those moments need care and understanding. I am fine with that. About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. There's something special about just being present with them. I’m also a proud mom to two animal-loving girls (ages 8 and 10), and together we dream of having a house full of animals... if only we had the space! I am self employed so I can set my own hours. About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, when our family adopted our first dog, a bull terrier mix named Sadie. Being a shelter dog she required a lot of love and patience to build trust. At a young age I read books and worked with her every day to ensure her safety and happiness. She lived a solid 16 years with us. Over the years I've cared for several pets, mainly dog, cat, and chicken sitting for friend's/family's furry (and feathery) children, and even raised my own Golden Retriever, Samson, who's currently 8 years old. I'm extremely attentive, nurturing, reliable, patient, and detail-oriented for pets with medications, special diets or specific routines. I've cared for puppies, youth, as well as senior animals. About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions.
