“My dogs love Kelly’s house! This is their third stay and won’t be the last. Kelly is wonderful at following instructions on meds and food. Kelly and her whole family truly care for the dogs and it’s lovely to see my two gain new friends”

“Our 3 month old puppy had a great experience with Sharmistha. She is great at communicating and sending photos each day of his stay. Her home is inviting and she has a beautiful outdoor space as well. I would definitely recommend Sharmistha and would use her services again!”

“I booked Houda and her family for my wedding weekend. I have 2 cats and they did so good with them! I loved that they were completely separate from any other animals and I didn’t have to worry about them. They took care of them as they were their own. 10/10 sweetest family!”

“Ashley was amazing taking care of our Husky, Ruby. Ruby suffers from separation anxiety. Ashley made sure Ruby felt secured and at home. She took her on walks and ran with her at the park. She also kept updated with status as well as videos and photos. Thank you Ashley.”

“Wow, I’m glad we found Mike! First, he was extremely responsive. When we messaged looking for boarding for our dog in about a weeks time, he replied quickly and set up a meet and greet for the next day. He replied quickly to all our messages bout logistics. Second, he has a great combination of attentiveness and no-stress. He asked all the usual questions about our dog, and wanted to get to know her needs. When meeting Bowie for the first time, he read he body language as other dogs went by and even guessed “she isn’t been to this park before, right?” Which was true. Our dog isn’t used to socializing much with other dogs, so we were a little nervous about leaving her with another dog in the house. But Mike was very relaxed and confident about it, without being minimizing. We could tell that he reads dogs carefully and knows his dog well which made us feel comfortable that he could manage the two dogs interactions well. Finally, Bowie clearly had fun! We got some great pictures of her on hikes, lounging in the yard, and napping on the couch - her kind of vacation! My only hesitation in leaving a positive review is that other people might snag the future dates we want for boarding 😁”

“Great boarding experience, really easy to communicate and build trust. From the beginning I had the feeling that they knew how to take care of a dog and I wasn’t wrong about it. Lola was happy to stay with them, which for me is the most important thing. I would definitely trust them again to take care of Lola.”

“Xue took amazing care of my dog Valentino! From the moment we dropped him off, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. She sent regular updates, photos, and made sure he felt loved and comfortable throughout his stay. Valentino came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I truly appreciate her kindness and attention to detail. Highly recommend Xue if you’re looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to board your pup!”

“We had a great experience with Peter. He and his family took great care of our pup. He was very easy to communicate with and sent updates with pictures throughout our pup’s stay. We felt reassured that our pup was doing well and cared for. Would definitely recommend and use for future stays!”

“Best Rover experience that I've had to date! Angela, Randall, and family were wonderful. We received a lot of pictures while we were gone and the dogs looked so happy. The backyard is perfect for fur babies, and they received a lot of exercise on wonderful hikes! Our dogs were gassed when we got home and slept like babies. I will definitely book again!”

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for over 25 years, and I've been an animal lover all my life. I'm a long time volunteer for animal rescue organizations, and have fostered several dogs over the years. These experiences have provided me with a great deal of education about animal care, as well as expert contacts when I need advice. I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs, and dogs with separation anxiety. I believe all dogs deserve a loving home, and that includes a sitter who treats them like family when they can't be with their family! And all cats deserve a personalized mix of love and independence. I'm currently home full-time, so my schedule is very flexible. My availability will mostly depend on my other pet care commitments. I'm looking forward to filling more of my days with doggos, taking walks, playing in the park, and snuggling on the couch! My home and vehicle are both geared towards dog-friendliness and safety. Pets are allowed on the furniture, I have several dog beds, space for separate feeding stations, car seatbelt harnesses, and a lift harness. I have a large fenced patio, and my neighborhood is quiet and walkable. I also have access to a small, private dog park in my complex and a large, public one nearby. If your pet has a specific schedule or needs, I'm happy to accommodate them.

“Lyndsey took great care of our golden retriever! We loved getting photos, and our dog looked to have a wonderful time with theirs. Dropoff and pickup coordination were easy, and when we picked our dog up we could tell she had loved being at their home. We'd definitely book with Lyndsey again.”

“Megane is such a calm and trustworthy person — her love for dogs shows the moment you meet her. Her home is warm, welcoming, and perfectly set up for dogs to feel safe and happy. Our Bonnie, who’s full of energy, had a great time playing with the other dogs under Megane’s kind and attentive supervision. We felt completely at ease leaving her there!”

About: I’ve been a dog mom for over 30 years, and caring for pups is just part of who I am. My first dog was with me for 18 amazing years, and my second for 14—they were truly family. I have a soft spot for senior dogs and a lot of experience with the extra care they need, like giving meds, keeping an eye on their health, and making sure they feel safe and loved. If your dog stays with me, they’ll get all the cuddles, patience, and attention they deserve….just like I’d give my own. I am home during the day and can be available weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm for drop-in visits or taking your beloved dog for a walk. For Drop-in visits, I will be sure to follow the routine you have shared for feeding, walks, and playtime to provide consistency and comfort. While with your dog, I will be sure to track feeding times, bathroom breaks, any behavioral observations, and share photos to give you peace of mind.

“Doug was great with our dog! He shared sweet photos that made us feel at ease. The initial meet and greet also helped Diggie feel less anxious when we brought him for the stay. We would definitely have him watch Diggie again!”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals, with a dad who’s a farmer and a home full of furry (and sometimes feathery) companions. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, and while life took me down a different path, my love and passion for animals never changed. These days, I enjoy walking and carrying for dogs. There's something special about just being present with them. I’m also a proud mom to two animal-loving girls (ages 8 and 10), and together we dream of having a house full of animals... if only we had the space! I am self employed so I can set my own hours. I love to be outside. I walk my own dog everyday. Happy to take animals on walks, play with my own dog or even go on a hike. I live on ½ an acre with lots of grass and a fenced in backyard. We live right near the Iron Horse Trail so walks are encouraged. =)

“Sent daily pictures and flexible for pickup and drop off times with prior communication. Gave our pup his daily walks and managed his idiosyncrasies and was good about his care instructions. Bamu came back happy and healthy, save for a couple burrs in his fur--which was actually a positive as Bamu only really trusts me to groom him so I know Brittany wasn't forcing him.”

“Jessica and her family were so amazing with my dog Lola! She sent pictures and messages everyday about how Lola was doing. They were very active with walks and playing and Lola has been passed out for hours since I picked her up. They took care of Lola as if she was theirs. I’d definitely book Jessica again!”

About: I've grown up around puppies. My family owned two amazing hunting dogs and I helped to train them. I also used to have a dog later on in my life since we go a little puppy from a shelter. Dogs are so much fun! My husband and my daughter (20months old) are also in love with dogs. My daughter is very gentle around dogs and other animals and trained how to behave around pets as our family in India owns a golden retriever and our daughter and Buzo (dog's name) became best friends! Currently I am a stay-home mom and a photographer, so I am very flexible according to accommodating pets care in our home. If you like I can also take some nice photos of your dog and you which you can hang on your wall :) We have a little dog park right behind our small patio where can we take your pet every time it is needed. Leash preferred as there is no fence around. However, your pet will have a constant access to a fresh air as we have our small patio right off of our livingroom. If your pet will stay over night, he will sleep downstairs but if required he can sleep in our bedroom as well. We will take your dog for a walk any time he needs.

Alamo Oaks dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stacey is amazing, and it's clear that she really cares about her pup visitors. My dog stayed with her for a full week, and at the start, he wouldn't eat his food. Stacey fed him by hand (a messy wet stew, mind you) and got him comfortable in his new environment. My dog loved her son and his friends, and she even let him sleep downstairs with my dog since he could not climb stairs. I don't know many people who are this caring and generous with their affection, and I could not have asked for a better sitter. Thank you, Stacey! We would love to rebook, if my dog's sock-stealing is forgiven :D.
Jessica took great care of Kody for a long weekend. She sent messages and photos telling us how each day went, including walks and belly rubs. We got to enjoy our time away knowing Kody was in such good care. Hoping to book Kody to stay with Jessica in the future.

Diana was an absolutely amazing dog sitter for my pup, Obi! From the moment we connected, her communication was top-notch—she kept me updated several times a day with photos and messages about all the fun Obi was having, whether they were relaxing at home, going on walks, or visiting the park. She also helped Obi build confidence around other dogs, which was such a bonus. Her sweet dog, Tobi, was the perfect companion and playmate—Obi adored him! I felt completely at ease knowing Obi was in such caring and capable hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend Diana to anyone looking for a responsible, loving, and attentive sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Rumi took amazing care of our boy, Mylo! While we were away for nearly a week, she kept us updated with regular photos and check-ins. When Mylo was feeling down and hesitant to eat, she went the extra mile to find a food topper that helped him finish his meals. Her dedication to his well-being was evident—she even took him on car rides and daily walks! We highly recommend Rumi for anyone looking for a caring and attentive sitter, and we’ll definitely trust her with Mylo again for future trips!
