About: I have a true genuine passion for pet sitting. I have always loved and never bored with wanting to care for others pets. I understand that each pet is a part of a family and should be treated as such. I have a few years of experience working in a pet hospital and many references, many including coworkers that understand I would love their pets as if they were my own. I have a full time 8-5 job however, my job is flexible with me taking longer lunch breaks if your pet requires frequent potty breaks and the distance is not far. I will also check on them before and after in addition to overnight if needed. N/A, I don't pet sit at my own place because I rent and they charge extra for that as well as I believe most pets feel comfortable in the safety of their own home.

“Our original house sitter (not from Rover) cancelled about a week away from departure. Because of the timing there were no kennel options (we don't do cheap with the babies), and Rover past sitters were all unavailable. Stephen came up with no previous jobs in this area but seemed ok on the site. So with our previous good experiences with Rover we decided to give him a try. He came over for about an hour the day after we picked him to meet the doggies and find out about the house which is large with a lot of automation. By the end of that meeting we were comfortable with his abilities. While we were away, he checked in with us daily, sent pictures and asked good questions on things that I had forgot to mention. The doggies took to him right away and ate well (one gets finnicky if he is worried) while having a good time with him. We always tell house sitters to make themselves at home and have never had a problem with the condition of the house when we returned. Stephen was no exception, he left the house clean, vacuumed, dishes clean and left the bedding as instructed by my wife. One of our dogs is very good at escaping and runs across roads, through yards and can get lost. Stephen apparently had no problems keeping Henry busy but, on a leash, outside of the house as observed on the outdoor Ring cameras during walks. We (including the doggies) look forward to seeing him again. We would highly recommend him for your consideration.”

“This is the second time Jaylyn has pet sit for us and we are so thankful for her care for our furry babies! We have four younger rescue dogs and Jaylyn is relaxed and chill with them and has a great sense of humor, which I so appreciate, while providing care for each of their unique personalities. At our first meet and greet there was some barking but before the visit was over our slightly more apprehensive and on guard dog was giving her kisses. Jaylyn didn’t stress our dogs, we watched her respecting their comfort zones and as a result they all did end up happily wanting her attention. Jaylyn put our minds at ease as we left them all for the first time for a few days in a row (she pet sit in our home) and she was the first we reached out to when we needed a day sitter now. Her willingness to accommodate what is important to us in the care of our dogs means a lot to us. I appreciate her correspondence while we are away too. “Vivien did an excellent job caring for my aging feline on the 4th of July when I had to be away from her. Throughout the evening of fireworks explosions, Vivien kept my Kitty calm and soothed her so that she felt safe. She stayed with her overnight and left when all was well the next morning. The peace of mind this gave me was tremendous. Her communication with me was excellent and she left my home in the same great condition that she found it. I'm experienced with most breeds....we have beagles, and Russia, and a Belgian Malinois. “Christie was excellent. My puppies loved her. While we were away, she sent me pics of the puppies every day doing something in their normal daily routine. She took them for walkies, which cemented her and their relationship because it is one of their favorite activities which we told her was optional because they get super excited and is like walking a team of pulling sled dogs. She handled it with ease. When we returned home after the "happy to see you" reunion, the puppies were calm, full of tail wags, and going back to Christie to be petted and loved on. Christie also watered my garden for me while we were gone. She is very neat and tidy and the house was exactly mirror to when we left the week before. Our puppies have limited access to other people so they are suspicious of all new people they encounter, Christie won our dogs over with ease because she has a very gentle, kind, and genuinely caring nature as person.
