“Our original house sitter (not from Rover) cancelled about a week away from departure. Because of the timing there were no kennel options (we don't do cheap with the babies), and Rover past sitters were all unavailable. Stephen came up with no previous jobs in this area but seemed ok on the site. So with our previous good experiences with Rover we decided to give him a try. He came over for about an hour the day after we picked him to meet the doggies and find out about the house which is large with a lot of automation. By the end of that meeting we were comfortable with his abilities. While we were away, he checked in with us daily, sent pictures and asked good questions on things that I had forgot to mention. The doggies took to him right away and ate well (one gets finnicky if he is worried) while having a good time with him. We always tell house sitters to make themselves at home and have never had a problem with the condition of the house when we returned. Stephen was no exception, he left the house clean, vacuumed, dishes clean and left the bedding as instructed by my wife. One of our dogs is very good at escaping and runs across roads, through yards and can get lost. Stephen apparently had no problems keeping Henry busy but, on a leash, outside of the house as observed on the outdoor Ring cameras during walks. We (including the doggies) look forward to seeing him again. We would highly recommend him for your consideration.”

About: I work with animals everyday, so I definitely know their behaviors and know how to not cross boundaries with your babies! Their comfort is my priority! I will have two whole days to which I can take care of your pets 24/7! I work with animals the rest of the week so it definitely wouldn’t be much different! Our cat boarders have their own areas away from the dogs, private apartment enclosures, toys, cat trees, scratching posts, and outdoor catio enclosures as well. GPS locator collars and security cameras used. I offer pickup and drop off as well (USDA certified pet transporter). I'm experienced with most breeds....we have beagles, and Russia, and a Belgian Malinois. If you have a dog on a strict training regimen or specific program, you can count on me to keep it up while you are away.

“We went out of town for a week and Jesse stayed at our home and took care of our 2 Yorkies. We have one who takes medications 4 times a day and an injection every 3 days. Jesse was fantastic with our dogs, stayed on top of the meds and sent us photos and updates every day. Will definitely book Jesse again for our next trip. So glad we found her!”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, and while my parents are away I go over and house sit and take care of their dogs. I also watch my neighbors dogs while they are on vacation. I’m currently working part-time and will be finishing up my college semester. During summer I will have a lot of free time during mid-day to check in on your babies! My dogs are like household members so I treat them with respect and give them lots of love. I take them out, and take them for walks when needed and they love to go for drives (especially when it ends with pupcups.)

About: I have always been around dogs. From about the age of 8. My close cousins had dogs, I was around for many litter births and makings of pups. I know how to feed puppies on bottles, train puppies and correct bad learned behaviors. I’m currently working on making this work for me full time and can fit pet care into my schedule for a majority of my days. I will go out and play with dogs, walk dogs and feed them. Crating or keeping the dogs out will be a breeze. I can get very hyper dogs to listen and calm down.
