Katelin was wonderful with our dog, Grandma! Her and her husband were so sweet to her and patient with her when she was nervous. Katelin sent frequent photo updates, which are always so nice to see when we're away. I will definitely have Katelin watch Grandma again when we're in the area!

Lanae was wonderful to our pup. She was willing to take him last minute, which saved us from missing our vacation. She took the time to update us regularly, and responded to any question I had promptly. She gave him all the love and attention he requires and I’m very grateful for that. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic! She took great in-home care of our high energy pups who usually struggle with separation anxiety - they did not! They were happy and well adjusted when we returned. She even replaced their treats - above and beyond. Thank you!

Brody was well cared for and was treated with love and kindness. We received pictures of Brody "taking over" their own dogs big boy bed instead of his own smaller version, but it it didn't look like he cared very much! Pretty sure Brody was in charge as usual. I truly appreciate having someone who cares for our Brody's needs while we are away- he has such separation anxiety now that he is older! Thank you again Ashley for your kindness- I would recommend her for your pup's needs.

I appreciate Abigail's flexibility and responsiveness. I will definitely be hiring her again and I know Hercules is looking forward to his next stay!

I reached out to Raegan with a last minute request, and after a super prompt reply, and her asking all the right questions, we worked out a two-night stay for my dog at her place. She was easy to reach, kept me up to date on how things were going and sent pictures of my dog getting along splendidly with hers. She was flexible with our pick up time (because traffic is always a crapshoot) and Poppy looked happy when we got her. We will definitely keep Raegan on our list of great sitters!

Edna was AMAZING! I have 2 senior doxies and 1 has very bad eye sight. She took her time with them especially my doxie with the bad eye sight who moves slow. I recommend her to anyone and will rebook with her again. She was also nice to provide pictures and updates while they were staying with her. That was nice.

About: Growing up I lived on a farm. I had pigs, chickens, rabbits, ducks, dogs and cats. I have always had a love for animals of any kind. I’m currently a stay at home mom. With that being said I would be able to take care of your pet at any hour through out the day. I have a fenced in yard at my house because I have 2 dogs of my own. If I were to come to your house to take care of your dog, I would be sure to take the dog out on a leash so that the dog doesn’t run off.

About: I am someone who loves pets of all types. I have years of experience with multiple types of animals and I love them all. If my pets could talk they would tell you to choose me. My job has multiple stretches of time off for me to care for your pets full time. If for whatever reason I am working on a time you are looking for a sitter I will always let you know my schedule in advance. But for the most part I will always be home. I have a decent yard. However, the yard is not fenced. I have 3 litter boxes in my home that are scooped daily as well as provide privacy. I have 3 cats who are all friendly with each other and love to play. Their ages are 4 years, and 2 of them are 7 months. All my pets are neutered and spayed. I also have a rabbit who loves to play with the cats as well. However, if you are uncomfortable with this idea he is also always willing to chill in his cage.

About: I have had over 30 years around pets. People trust me with their pets and love the care and attention that I give their pets. I substitute teach and also work part-time. I am mostly around late afternoons and on the weekends. As a fitness person, taking dogs when owner likes dogs to exercise is my favorite time with the pet. I keep the space open for the pets and also have toys for them to keep active and entertained. I also play with them often so they are well cared for.

We loved Amanda and her son Bailey. They treated our dog (Marley) as though he was a part of their family. When we first met with Amanda and Bailey, we knew they would be a good fit to watch and care for our Marley while we were out of town. They both made us feel comfortable and more importantly, they made Marley feel comfortable. Throughout Marley’s stay with Amanda/Bailey, several pictures were shared with us and he looked so happy - this really assured us as well that we made the right choice by choosing Amanda to care for him. When we picked Marley up, Amanda went over all the activities they had done - we were just so excited and well pleased with the love and care she gave him.

  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
