“Our dogs have always had a lot of anxiety away from us BUT not anymore. They have absolutely loved staying with Emily and her family. They get plenty of play time and attention and love the property. We pull up and the dogs are so excited to see them. They even look like they are smiling in the pics we get. You will not regret having them watch your pets.”

“Very responsive and sent lots of pictures. My flight waa delayed and put me getting in very late but she was willing to work with me to have my dog stay another night. Plenty of space for the dog to run around. Definitely reccomend.”

“Alexandra was amazing with our two dogs, Abby and Bear, during their 6-night stay with her! She sent daily pictures and updates and stayed in communication with us the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She is incredibly friendly, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. Abby and Bear were well cared for and came home happy and relaxed. We will definitely be booking with Alexandra again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter!”

“Courtney was amazing. She accomodated our drop and pick up times and took great care of our dog! When I picked her up she was happy! We will definitely book with her again.”

“Chanisy was amazing! My pup was very well cared for and happy during her stay. She was easy to get ahold of and communicate with and sent daily pictures of all Nikita’s activities. Will use her again!!”

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I have two dogs of my own, a German Shepherd and Lab mix, and I’ve also helped raise my sister’s dog and cared for friends’ pets. I know how much trust it takes to place your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll care for your dog with the same love, patience, attention, and protection I give my own. Your pet won’t just be a booking to me, they’ll be treated like family. 🐾❤️ I’m currently a hybrid college student, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet care. I’m able to work pet care into my daily routine and can be flexible with scheduling to meet your pup’s needs. I treat every dog with the same care and attention I give my own. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, keep dogs safely leashed during walks, provide plenty of attention and playtime, and always make sure they’re comfortable, secure, and cared for while you’re away. ❤️
“Our dog seemed to have a great time with Marcus and his pups! He was very responsive and sent daily video updates. I would definitely recommend Marcus to others for boarding.”

“Carol and her husband were great. We were on a cruise, so didn’t have access to cell service but still received picture updates throughout the stay. I was very pleased with their hospitality and care they showed towards my dog. This was the first time in a long time I’ve had to board my pet, so I was hesitant with the process. But after meeting them and their own dogs, I was relieved with the process and situations. My dog is a Jack Russell puppy, so he has an abundant amount of energy and I hope that he wasn’t too much trouble for them. If I need boarding again, I will definitely see if Carol and her husband are available and willing to take my dog again. Thanks again!”

“This is my second booking with Claudia and Alexis and they have exceeded my expectations every time. Video updates daily, amazing communication ( I had to extend my pups stay and they were so accommodating). I feel like they really care about the animals in their care and even recommended a needed nail trim for my Ellie. Alexis was able to provide the nail trim even though Ellie has been difficult for others. They really do care about the pets in their care. Ten out of ten recommend! Will book again 🥰”

“I am not sure if this is good or now but we are so happy that when Pepper stay's with Kristina, Pepper thinks it is a vacation :) . We love the fact that she is happy and with a person that cares for her like her own dog.”

“Always quick to respond and accommodating after a couple of hiccups on my part! My dogs are always happy and energetic after leaving after all of my bookings with Tena :)”

“Kami is wonderful with Buddy. He had not seen her in a couple of years but he remembered her and was happy to be there. He settled right in and she sent me a text to follow up and let me know how he was doing. I would trust her with any of mine any time! Can’t say enough good things about her!”

“Angelita was amazing with my dog! She kept me updated with photos and was always quick to communicate back when I reached out to her. I am so thankful to have found her and will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“CAN I GIVE 10 STARS? Bree is the absolute BEST!! Our babies LOVED their stay with her! She sent daily pictures and videos of them (which we LOVED). She has a beautiful yard for them to run, play and do their business! I cannot wait to travel again and be rest assured knowing that our babies are in the best hands. When we board them at a facility, we pick them up and they are smelly, faces encrusted with dirt and eye goobers and they are off the wall crazy. Picking them up from Bree's, they were smelling good, faces clean and had a calmness about them (since they probably got most their energy out in her yard). Bree, you are 1 in a million. Thank you!”

“This was my first time ever using Rover, and since I had a long trip, I really had no choice but to find someone to take care of Oreo. I was honestly super nervous at first — it was my first time being away from him for this long, and I had so many worries in my head. I kept wondering if he would feel comfortable, if he would eat well, or if he would miss home too much. But Mihee and her family made everything so much easier. They took such good care of Oreo and really helped me relax during my trip. They sent tons of photos and videos every day, always kept me updated, and let me know how he was doing — what he ate, how he played, how he was feeling. I really appreciated the communication and the patience they had with him. Oreo looked so happy staying with them, like he actually enjoyed his little “vacation.” It didn’t feel like he was just being watched — it felt like he was staying with people who genuinely cared. I’m really thankful for Mihee and her family. For my first Rover experience, this honestly couldn’t have gone better, and I’d definitely book with them again in the future.”

“Juan and his family were great with Bonnie. It gave me great comfort to know that Bonnie was with people that would love on him and nurture him. Thank you Juan for taking care of my fur child, I’ll definitely be there sing you all again.”

“We booked Briana for a last minute stay and it was the best decision for our Mona. I was given updates regularly about how she was doing and to top it off, Briana was kind enough to give her a bath and paint her nails too! We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Kimberly and her family were wonderful with our fur babies. I can tell that they really loved our dogs and gave them so much cuddles while we were away. Her family was very sweet and caring from the meet and greet until after we picked up our fur babies. I really appreciated the updates and pictures when we were away and I could tell the doggies were in excellent hands.”

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Ainsworth.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
