“Mary and Skip are wonderful and caring dog sitters! Jojo loves spending time with them. They give her so much love and attention. We always feel confident that she is well taken care of.”

“Nicole and her family were wonderful!! They took great care of my Pointer Stella and she had a good experience. They sent me pictures of Stella with Nicole’s family and her friendly pets. I would most definitely recommend her to any of my friends or whoever reads this! I will definitely be bringing Stella back for more visits!”

“Oscar and Shannon took great care of our dogs, Gooseberry and Rutabaga. The communication from both of them was excellent—they sent us regular updates and pictures, which really helped put our minds at ease while we were traveling. The whole experience was very calming, and we were able to enjoy our excursion without worrying. I would highly recommend Oscar and Shannon to any prospective client looking for the highest level of care for their dog. They were by far the most professional boarders we’ve worked with through Rover, and we’ll definitely be booking with them again in the near future.”

“Zuri is simply AMAZING! My pup was warmly welcomed by the resident pups and had a great, extended stay. She goes above and beyond out of love for the animals. Her accommodations for my baby were great. He needed a procedure done while boarded, and Zuri stepped in, without thought or hesitation, to ensure a good recovery. My pup and I are very happy with Zuri. I didn’t think he’d want to be at home after making good friends and playmates. Fortunately for me, he did miss me. Thank you so much Zuri!”

About: I have been pet sitting for over ten years including my time spent living and working at a doggy boarding facility. I will treat your pets as my own and ensure they have a great time while you are away! I am able to give medication, provide senior animal care, and also care for farm animals of all kinds. I currently work as a social worker with a flexible schedule. I have dog crates/kennels at my home if needed although well mannered pups are welcome to free range the house in the event we may need to leave for a short time. I have a fenced yard for safe and comfortable potty and play time! We live near many trails for walks and have endless toys for playing!
“They were very well cared for. Updates were provided twice a day, they offered more if we needed it. All questions I had up to and during the process were answered quickly. Our very anxious cats came home and immediately began being themselves and acting right as rain.”

“These guys are honestly some of the best sitters! Dodger ALWAYS loves his time here, and I literally have to drag him back home. On top of that they are extremely flexible on pick up and drop off.”
“If you’re fortunate enough to have the opportunity for Aunt Janelle to watch your pups, you absolutely should! She took our athletic, high energy dog on walks, played fetch, and spoiled him rotten with love and cuddles!! She sent photos and videos of Cody having a great time throughout his stay. It was easy to enjoy my trip knowing that Janelle was taking such great care of our fur son. I could go on for days about how she’s the best choice to watch your pup-from start to finish. She cares about the safety of every dog she watches and doesn’t accept pets that she doesn’t trust. Thank you so much for taking in our big baby boy and treating him like your own!!!”

“I needed care for my senior dog, Cookie, so I could attend a workshop out of state. I didn't want to leave Cookie boarded back home for an extended time, so it was great for Madison to care for my dog in her home near my workshop. Cookie was well cared for and I appreciate that all her needs were met. I really appreciated the updates and photo. Madi was great to work with!”

“Alan was very positive. He sent pictures and comments, and he also was patient with our change in plans. We hope that he'll be able to watch Hershey again sometime because it was a great experience for our dog.”

“Wow. This was our first experience with Rover and Rodney and we are so thankful to have found such a loving & FUN home for our dog when we are gone! Henry had a fantastic time playing with other dogs and being accepted for the puppy he is! To be honest, we were happy he wanted to come home with us! Lol! He was living his best life! Freedom outdoors in a fenced yard and so many dog friends to play with. He ate great which is a sign of happiness. I would give 10 ✨if I could. Rodney is a wonderful person! Thank you!”

“Reneé was great with Lily for a short overnight stay! She took lots of cute photos of her. She even squeezed in a quick walk before our pickup time. Lily will be back!”

“So kind and accommodating! Piper had a great time with Deb and Malcomb! Thank you for taking care of piper while we traveled to a family reunion out of state. Knowing that piper was in a home environment with dog lovers made us feel at ease. Deb was very good at sharing pictures and keeping us updated daily on our Miss Piper. A+ experience. Will highly recommend and will use in future. This was our very first Rover.com experience and it was good! Thank you!!”

“Amanda is amazing! This is the second time I have used her and I couldn't be happier. We did a longer trip this time and from the updates and photos, it was obvious she went out of her way to make sure our pup felt welcome. I will for surely book Amanda in the future. She is the BEST!!!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
