About: I grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania and took care of many different animals but we always had dogs and cats in and around the house. I have a huge love for animals and can't have a dog myself right now with my cat so this is a great opportunity to love on dogs and cats alike and make some new friends! I am a singer/songwriter and need something flexible but also something I love to do and be a part of. I am very thorough in taking proper steps to take care of our fur babies and give them the attention they need! Sometimes I would much rather be around animals than people. Throw me a bone, hand me the leash and we'll have fun! My weekdays are pretty open during the day/evening right now and some weekend days. My schedule can be pretty flexible based on availability and requests. I will take every precaution to keep your pet safe and if you have specific instructions for your house/property I will make sure it’s taken care of.
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years. I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available on for boarding on weekend, and weekdays after 9am to 7pm for starters and see how it goes… I'd love to help with pet-sitting! But I have three dogs of my own, so I'm unable to stay overnight. However, I'd be happy to do drop-in visits to check on your dogs anytime. I'm available for afternoon visits, or whatever works best for you. Let me know if you'd like me to come by for a visit!
About: My entire life I have been raised around large breed dogs, cats, and fish. I am also familiar with reptile, monkey, equestrian, farm animal, and small mammal care. Such as cleaning pens, feedings, cleaning tanks, ear canal cleanings, nail trimming, bathing, and deshedding! The personal pets you see listed on my profile are 100% accurate as well, most people find it shocking but I’ve always been raised around an entire pack of animals and they are all in the best health with the most love we could possibly surround them with! I am completely available to watch your animals! I am hoping to make this a full time job, so please book me for your long trips, and daily walks! I can ensure that I will leave your house cleaner than when I arrived. My parents run 5 AirBnB cabins, and I am the housekeeper for the guests to ensure sanitary sheets, towels, and plates/dishes are provided. As well as a well kept, and clean living environment while they enjoy our stay with us! I was previously a school custodian for South Warren Middle School in Bowling Green, KY, so cleaning was a daily job for me and I thoroughly enjoy it. Now I hope to love on animals and make sure that THEY stay in a sanitary and clean environment.

About: Lifelong dog person here! I grew up with dogs underfoot and never stopped — these days I’m the go-to for friends and family whenever they need someone reliable (and a little obsessed) to watch their pup. Whether it’s long walks, fetch marathons, or just couch time together, I treat every dog like they’re already part of the family. Your best friend is in good hands with me! I am currently working part time, but with flexibility to make sure your pet is covered whenever you need! I am available during the week, nights, and weekends. In my home, my cat rules everything. In your home, I always treat your space with respect—keeping things clean and sticking to your pet’s usual routine to reduce stress. I provide regular check-ins, photos, and updates so you always know your pet is in good hands. Whether it’s a dog who needs long walks or a shy cat who prefers a quiet spot, I adapt to their needs and make sure they feel secure and cared for every step of the way.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Adolphus. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Adolphus.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
