“Morgan did an excellent job caring for our pets while we were away. She was reliable, thorough, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Her communication was great—she kept us updated and reached out promptly if she had any questions. One thing that stood out right away was during our initial meet-up: our cats, who are usually pretty skittish around new people, immediately walked up to her and let her pet them. That was such a great sign and gave us instant peace of mind. We came home to happy, well-cared-for kitties and a tidy home. We truly appreciate her care and professionalism. We would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and thoughtful pet sitter!”

“Kady was great! She was on time and super easy work with, our older cat even warmed up to her (which is a feat in and of itself). We loved getting the pictures and knowing they were getting love and attention! We’ll definitely use her for cat care again.”

“Koleen was awesome! She was a super fast communicator and went above and beyond what I expected for drop-in visits. Even when my pup was misbehavving (it was ny pups first time!) Koleen kept her cool and informed me of every step she took to help the situation. I felt confident having Koleen look after my pup and would highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks again!”

About: About me: I’ve lived with and cared for animals my entire life in SLO county. I believe all dogs/cats are special. Love and fun are my #1 priority with all animals-I guarantee a wonderful stay with your pets, catered to their typical daily routine! One of my most rewarding hobbies is volunteering at local animal shelters. I was trained as a volunteer at SLO County Animal Services last year which peaked my love for animal care. I shadowed Service Dog Trainer Celis Rabena at New Life K9s as part of my High school portfolio project as well last year where I learned so much about dog behavior. Ive trained and raised two rescue puppies of my own (Arrow and Ivy) into well rounded dogs. I have tons of experience working through reactivity with my own dogs and others. I possess skills like quick thinking/reacting, attention to detail, and a calm balanced state of mind with animals. I cater my skills to each animal individually and value them above anything else. I look forward to meeting new people and their pets! 🐶 I currently work from home so my availability is very open! When sitting in your home, I will need to go back to my home to care for my own animals a few times a day-depending on your distance from mine, time away from your pet(s) will most likely not be over 4 hours (feel free to reach out to coordinate if this would be a problem for you, I am happy to work something out) 🌼 While caring for your pet(s), safety is the top priority. I will never push an animal beyond their boundaries, and will always follow your instructions. I prefer to meet you and your pet(s) prior to me sitting them to ensure I know all care details. While i’m with your pet(s) I will keep you updated with photos/videos of our day(s) while you’re away (unless told otherwise) and I am happy to accommodate phone/facetime calls for you to check on your furry friends! I am 100% reachable by phone at all times- if something were to happen with your pet whilst in my care, you will be the first to know. I know exact routes to Animal Emergency Hospitals around the entire county as well as basic dog CPR and first aid. I am very respectful and responsible, your rules come first when i’m watching your pets! 🩵

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals since I can remember. Grew up on a ranch my whole life, I have always been in charge of the wellness of every animal. Family and friends always have relied on me for pet sitting, when needed. Dogs and cats just happen to be my favorite:). Currently looking for a side gig. Very lenient with my daily schedule. Weekends/weekdays both work for me. Morning/evening both work as well. Check ups will happen regularly. I have 4 loving cats, and 15 acres. Lots of places to go on walks for exercise. Lots of love, check ups, and time will be spent on the animals well-being to insure happiness and comfort.

About: I have over 9 years of hands on experience caring for my own three dogs, which has given me a deep understanding of pet care, including feeding, grooming, exercise, and general health maintenance. Over the years, I’ve managed everything from daily walks and training routines to vet visits and special diets. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also dog sat for friends, looking after dogs of various breeds and sizes. My experience has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and responsive to each dog's individual needs, making sure that they feel safe, loved, and well cared for at all times. As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible and open schedule, which allows me to fully dedicate time and attention to pet care. This flexibility means I can easily accommodate your pet's specific routines, whether that includes early morning walks, midday play sessions, or evening feedings. I’m able to provide consistent care throughout the day. I prioritize keeping your pets active, engaged, and comforted, and I’m available for both short visits and long stays. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m committed to giving each pet the time, energy, and affection they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their established routines to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease while you're away. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, portion sizes, and any specific needs. Daily walks are done at the times your pets are used to, and I always try to make sure they get the right amount of exercise and playtime based on their energy levels and preferences. I also make sure to spend quality time with your pets whether that means playing fetch, or simply being present to keep them company. I understand how important consistency is with my own dogs, so I stick closely to your instructions, including any medication schedules, crate routines, or expectations. My goal is to make your pets feel as happy and secure as they do when you're home.

About: Hi there! My name is Havana and I absolutely adore animals. Growing up I had many different pets and took great interest in the health and well being of each one of them. Whenever my friends and family are in need of a sitter I am usually the one they call on, and I could not be more grateful. It is so important to me that every animal knows just how special they are. Working with animals is my passion and I'd be honored to have the chance to spend some time with yours! I provide dog sitting in your home as well as going for walks and even a bath if needed. If your dog needs medicine or injection I am also able to do that! I have a dog of my own that is diabetic that needs insulin morning and night, so I understand it being a bit difficult to trust someone with meds but I am your girl! I hope you will consider me to be your next pet sitter. Have a wonderful day! I do have a full time job working at a medical office. I would be able to mess with the dog/s in the morning before I go to work, go back on my lunch time if needed and of course be back at the house after my shift (MON- FRI) I am very respectful of my clients home and space! If there are rooms off limits I DO NOT snoop around. I am there to do my job and care for the pet/s. I leave the house how it was when I first arrived.

About: I’ve been a professional house sitter for 10 years. I had a dog of my own for about 5 years-a big beautiful german shepherd who we trained extensively. I love dogs (and cats!) but with my traveling lifestyle, I can’t commit to having my own, but I have plenty of love and energy to give to others. I’m reliable, clean, communicative and love to adventure & hike, especially with doggy friends. I have a flexible work schedule and can work around you and your pets specific needs. Happy to help with high energy dogs, older chill dogs-and everything in between. I believe animals should be treated with respect and love and consistency just like a member of the family. They are full of unconditional love and that should be returned to them.

About: I love animals and have had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve also cared for other varieties of animals including birds, reptiles and rodents. I’m happy to feed your birds, reptiles or rodents too. I’m currently working part time so, I’ll have plenty of time to care for and play with your animals. I’m also happy to taxi them to doggy day care or the vet. House sitting also available. I treat animals like my own. If they’ll let want to play or lay, it’s fine with me. I adhere to your rules but try to spoil them too.

About: I'm a licensed small-animal veterinarian retired from 40 years of clinical work. I'm comfortable with pets of all needs, including medical treatments. I wish to continue service to animals through providing daily care. I love being around animals of all types, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds, reptiles, fish, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, etc. I also have a wealth of training experience based on positive reinforcement. I'm retired from clinical settings (working under my maiden name Carol Hansen, DVM), and still maintain an active lifestyle. I'm free most days. My routine is very flexible. I spend time with my own 2 dogs and 5 feral cats. I love travel and seeing wildlife worldwide. I have done pet care for my own and others' pets for most of my life. I'm very honest, trustworthy, and conscientious in making sure animals thrive in a healthy environment.

About: I treat every animal I take care of like they are mine. All of my animals are VERY spoiled and loved and get the best quality care I can offer. I love being outside (weather isn’t a issue I’ll walk dogs in the rain/snow!). I’ve taken care of puppies that needed help potty training all the way to old senior dogs that need special medication 3 times a day. I love all breeds! I believe there are no “bad breeds”. I will love on your dog the whole time I’m with them and treat them like they are mine. I know it’s hard for you to leave your animal, so especially during the 1st couple days I will spend extra time with them to make sure they are comfortable with me and not stressed about you leaving. I also love cats. I’ve taken care of kittens and having to bottle feed them to old cats with maintenance/special lifestyles. I believe cats need as much attention as dogs. I have owned horses for 20 years. I can also care for any and all equines. I’ve worked with unhandled horses to high end show horses. I don’t mind making up grain, cleaning stalls and weighing hay as needed. The only animal I will not watch are snakes. I will happily watch any critter you have! Just no snakes. If I’m being honest I’m absolutely terrified of them. Lol! It is second nature to me. Taking care of animals is just the norm. It is always a priority to me. I’m always thinking about them and how to make them happier. I work, but it is very flexible so I am able to let out for potty breaks and give meds as needed. I will follow your routine with your animals so it’s not strange for them with a new person. They will be treated as if they are my own personal pet. Lots of snuggles, pets, love and treats if allowed! Your house will be as clean as when you left it. I always strip the bed, start any laundry, take out trash, wipe down everything and make sure all dishes are done and put away if applicable.

About: Hi, my name is Makara! I’m a responsible and dependable college student with three years of pet sitting experience and over a decade of caring for my own cat. I understand the level of trust and attention to detail required when caring for someone’s beloved pet. I’ve provided compassionate care for both dogs and cats, including feeding, administering medications, and following detailed care instructions—all while keeping open communication with owners to ensure peace of mind. My background in Girl Scouts, athletics, and academics has helped me develop strong time management, adaptability, and reliability, making me someone pet owners can count on to treat their animals with the same care and respect I give my own. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and give them the attention they deserve. I hope to hear from you soon! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I prioritize reliability, structure, and attentiveness in everything I do. I build my schedule around the needs of each pet, allowing time for feeding, walks, play, and any special care instructions. Whether it’s a daily check-in or multiple visits throughout the week, I stay flexible and organized to ensure each pet receives consistent, loving attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely to ensure each pet’s routine is maintained. I create a calm, familiar environment by respecting their space and habits—whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, administering medications, or engaging in their favorite activities. I also keep the home clean and secure, and maintain open communication with the client through updates and photos to provide peace of mind while they’re away.

About: I’m here to make sure your family is safe and taken care of. I have 10+ years experience as a pet sitter and dog walker. If you have any questions let me know! “Alex agreed to come up to our house, which is a little off the beaten path - something not every sitter will do! Our meet and greet went well, and we felt very comfortable leaving our pittie and kitties in her care. She sent pictures of her visits, and called right away when she had a question. Everyone was fat and happy when we got back. We will be using Alex as a petsitter again.”

“I have worked with Liora as a volunteer at SLO County Animal Services-She is extremely compassionate and patient with all of the animals she cares for. She treats every animal equally and just adores them. Not only is she loving and caring, she is very responsible. I would highly recommend Liora and know she will go above and beyond for everyone's pets.”

Desiree P.

“Desiree was great with my cat and dog. She was very reliable, checking in with me while she was with them with pictures and thoughts. I also really appreciated her vet tech experience. Highly recommend her services.”

Nicki B.
“Nicki is really good with dogs, she cares for them and always takes them on adventures to the beach or park, or wherever they like to go, even just on walks or runs. Her house has lots of space with gated pools the dogs can go in sometimes and have lots of fun. She has taken care of my dogs many times and always does a great job and lets me know how they’re doing!! Highly recommend!”

Kenna C.
“Kenna has been house and pet sitting for me since she was in high school, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. I have three dogs—each with their own quirks, special diets, and one who needs daily medication—and they all absolutely love her. While I am away, Kenna provides daily updates, including photos and little notes about how everyone is doing—which gives me such peace of mind. Beyond caring for the dogs, Kenna also waters my porch plants and garden during the summer, makes sure my packages are safely stored in the garage, and somehow leaves my home even cleaner than when I left it. Her attention to detail, reliability, and genuine love for animals give me complete peace of mind whenever I’m out of town. I always like to stock the fridge with a few of her favorite snacks and drinks—just a small gesture of thanks for the incredible care she provides. The only downside is that she moved away for college, and finding someone who comes close to the level of trust and care Kenna provides has been nearly impossible. She will always be my first call when she’s home visiting!”

Addison M.

“Addie was flexible with setting the visit times and took good care of my pup who was having tummy trouble.”

Emily K.

“Emily does a great job with my dogs and my cat. She gives great reports and photos which show me she really cares about them and has pride in her work. She is the best.”

Havana F.
“I remember one occasion where Havana and I were playing basketball at the rec center, a mother and daughter walked by with their dog. it was clear to see that the daughter, a little girl was struggling to reign in her eager dog, it was straining on its leash even pulling her a few steps. Before I even fully register the situation, Havana walks up to the mother and daughter pair and advises them on their current predicament, she tells them to abandon walking the dog and instead play a game with it, she suggested they play fetch or tug of war with the dog. At the time i was puzzled as to why she recommended playing with the dog seeing as that would just get it more exited and rowdy, but she educated us on the fact that one way of calming dogs is to tire them out by playing games with them. Once the dog is spent from all the running around it would be more calm albeit a little tired. Havana's quick assessment and proactive of the situation is just one of the ways she has shown behavior as a responsible and knowledgeable dog caregiver. She would see a problem concerning the dog and formulate a correct strategy to help it. Also there was the brief but wonderful time in which Havana owned a dog named Bella, I remember she was so exited and happy leading up to her arrival, I even remember her spending a whole day researching Bella's breed and the different ways to take care of her. She even dragged me to Pet-smart to shop for Bella, I remember she even made this cute emergency bag for her. When Havana finally got Bella, she was ecstatic and very detailed in her care of Bella, she was attentive and stern when needed, but then was loving and caring the rest of the time. Havana is truly a responsible and loving dog caregiver.”
