That’s really saying something because I’ve always had plenty of animals around me. My family has been on the right side of animal empathy for as long as I can remember. As a family we’ve volunteered and fostered for the local humane society. We’ve found ourselves in the face of wounded and homeless creatures more times than I could count that we’ve taken in graciously and to the best of our ability.
