About: We have two dogs ourselves, both with special attention needed. Whether your pet has allergies, people shyness, behavior issues and more, we have grown accustomed to that and realize that all animals deserve the same love, and we plan to provide that. We have experience with senior dogs, medications needing to be given on a schedule, bathing, playing, and lots of options for toys and treats. All that said, no need is too large as your pet deserves the same level of care as you would give to your family, because they are your family. When you go on vacation, your dog should get their own vacation as well! We both grew up around dogs from a very young age and have enjoyed the companionship of other animal types as well, from fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more. Pet care is our daily routine. We both are blessed enough to be home throughout the entirety of the day whether that be working from home or being lucky enough to help make the home. We purposefully installed a fence for our house so that our dogs could run around and play, so your pet will get that exact same treatment. We have a quiet secluded neighborhood with lots of walking room and places to sniff, and seat protectors in the cars for on the go if your dog likes to see the world. Pup cups, dog parks, new places are all within reason.

She was early to both our scheduled meet-and-greet & to house sitting our pup, even despite the snow & ice in Charleston. She sent photos with an update each day & was always quick to respond to any messages we sent. We came back to find our home cleaner than we left it and our pup (who can become quite stressed by change) has seemed perfectly normal. It definitely gave us peace of mind while we were away after a bad boarding experience. We already reached out to have Tonya stay with him again & would highly recommend her.”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs, large and small, calm or energetic. Count on me if you need someone to take your furry friend on a long walk. I currently have flexibility both during the weekdays and on the weekends to take care of pets from the early morning till late evening. I’m open to housesitting as well. I will take your dog for walks or take them to the dog park if desired. Happy to give them some playtime or practice training with them.

I am more than happy to care for your pet overnight in your home, but would need to bring my own furry friend Raven with me as well! “The phrase “Arthur was phenomenal” does not even do him justice. We have a 5 year old mixed breed with a back injury & lots of anxiety, so I am always anxious to leave her ever… but now Arthur has entered our world & no doubt changed our lives. I’m not exaggerating & if you have high needs pets that are hard to leave, you know exactly what I mean. He made this process easy from start to finish- coming by to do meet n greets to gain her trust & familiarity…. He is calm, patient, communicative, knowledgable & kind. Our pup has trouble walking due to a back injury, he did PT with her daily. Gave meds at proper times. Kept her area clean & easy to navigate. Gave her exercise without pushing her limits, he treated her truly like his own. She got anxiously sick on the first day we were away & he handled the situation flawlessly & with compassion instead of frustration AND on top of that, made sure she “re got” her meds if you get my drift. Sometimes she doesn’t eat when we’re away- not the case with Arthur- he sent us videos of her eating calmly just like she does when we’re home. His communication is absolutely TOP NOTCH. We got multiple videos and photos during each time he was with our Ruby girl. We also have a cat who is a little less to handle, but still an additional needs in her own right & he handled her perfectly & with respect. I have no idea how he manages to stay so busy and still stay as kind, commutative & thorough as he does but he absolutely crushes it. Not only that, but he cleans. The sheets, your house- you name it. waters plants- gets mail. I mean nothing is left undone. His attention to detail is UNMATChEd & if he’s available, you need him in your fur kiddos life.”

About: Not only did I grow up in a home filled with pets of all kinds and sizes, I have raised and trained my own dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with all breeds and sizes! I work a typical 8 to 5 job with an hour lunch break plus evenings and weekends free. I love to spend my extra time with furry faces and cuddles. I'm naturally attentive and can work with all behaviors. I'm able to administer medicine and follow house rules. I also love to take photos/videos and send updates throughout the whole visit with pet parents approval.
