“We were nervous to drop off our pup, he had a bad experience at a previous boarding place. But Amanda was so sweet, very reassuring, kept us posted on how he was doing and sent pics. He did GREAT! We know by his behavior at pick up he was well taken care of and loved. Amanda and her family get 10 starts in my book!”

“Always lovely to have our Charlotte to stay with Lea & Luna + Copper!!! She always get the best care and best friends!!!! So much love & so much fun, we will definitely come back!!!”

“David and family are always great with communication, sending frequent updates and photos. This stay, they noticed Laila wasn’t acting like her usual self. She was sleeping more and hanging her head down. Edith looked in her ears and noticed an infection. She immediately contacted me, and offered to give doggy ibuprofen (with my permission), and/or call the emergency vet (since it was Christmas). I truly appreciate how attentive they are to all my dog’s needs!”
“They were very welcoming people and Cody truly felt at home when he arrived. The pictures frequently eased our minds. I love the extra yard space for my dog to play. Thank you so much”

“Lynn provided the best care for our Ponce and Lola! Both of our dogs thoroughly enjoyed playing with Lynn's dog articus. One of our dog was struggling with some anxiety when he first arrived at Lynn's, she was kind, caring, and provided us regular updates. She even allowed our pups to sleep on her bed at night, I'm sure that made them feel more at home! I would highly recommend Lynn for your puppies boarding needs.”

“Stephen and Jessica were AMAZING! From the moment I met them and their sweet pups, I knew Ringo would do great! They sent pictures and messages daily and were so flexible when our flight home was delayed. We will definitely use them again!”
“Alyssa was great! Very responsive and friendly, sent plenty of updates and pictures, and my dog looked very happy and at home while under her care. Highly recommend!”

“Amber did an amazing job watching my dog Reese’s. So much so that my dog is bored now at my house. Reese’s got to hang out with ambers dogs, go on tons of walks, and visit the park. Amber also sends a “report card” of sorts with info about bathroom breaks, meals eaten, and photos from the day. Overall, amazing caretaker!”

“Kelly is a true gem! Our Calvin had an amazing time and Kelly sent photos everyday, giving us peace of mind & heart that Calvin was having an awesome time with a constant smile on his face. Thank you for giving Calvin his home away from home. Our trip would not have been successful without your caring spirit! Stay blessed, Calvin & family loves you”

“Kodi had an amazing time with Abby and her family. I felt completely comfortable leaving Kodi for a week. Abby sent texts and pictures every day, giving us peace knowing Kodi was having so much fun. I highly recommend Abby as a caring, wonderful dog sitter who truly cares about each dog. Thanks, Abby!”

“Justin and Ashlyn were absolutely amazing!! They cared for our two pups like they were always a part of the family! They sent fantastic updates, the pictures were wonderful, the outdoors time couldn’t be better, and it was such a relief knowing our dogs were in great hands with their family. Would highly recommend and we’ve already looked at requesting their services again for availability. If you’re looking for a sitter to take care of your dogs and provide amazing care for your life’s busy demands, Justin and Ashlyn are the best choice!”

“Kristin and her family did an awesome job making sure our dogs integrated well with theirs and cared for them like they were their own while we were gone for the week. Went above and beyond with communication and care for our intensive puppy. We had no worries about them whatsoever at any point. If we ever need boarding again I won’t hesitate to choose Kristin!”

“Vilma took care of my kitty Moofie over a holiday weekend and she was great! From the moment I asked for the booking to the time I picked up Moofie she responded to any question I had within minutes. Even though Moofie was a bit scared at first, she helped him settle in with a private room. She was also totally prepared with food bowls, litter, and a window perch. You can tell she enjoys what she does and Vilma sent me some great photos Moofie's stay. I would definitely recommend and book with Vilma again.”

“Amanda and her family — two-legged and 4-legged — were great! Mozzi, an energetic miniature Bernedoodle, felt right at home from the first minute of our Meet-and-Greet. Amanda sent wonderful, reassuring photos and videos throughout his 6-day stay. He was clearly having so much fun I wondered if he’d have second thoughts about coming home with his stodgy old lady! Amanda will definitely be my first call the next time Mozzi needs a home away from home or a play date.”

“Jonathan and Carla did a fantastic job taking care of Lily. We did a meet and greet and our dogs got along great, and Lily is a total extrovert so I was happy that she got to spend the weekend playing with her dog buddies! The cost of boarding was more affordable but by no means less valuable. These guys are a great pick for anyone looking for budget friendly dog care! Thanks again ❤️”

“Scarlet received the best care, love and cuddles. Concern was expressed when they thought she wasn’t eating and they reached out to me right away. I received lots of pictures and updates. I will definitely be leaving Scarlet with John H in the future!”

“Jennifer & Michael were amazing with our dog Mila! They sent pictures while we were away and I know my dog loved being there. If Mila could’ve stayed longer, she would’ve stayed! They were very nice & respectful with us, but they are definitely dog lovers! We will definitely be asking again for them to dog sit Mila again! I will definitely be spreading Rover.com to anyone who needs a dog sitter especially if it’s last minute like it was for us. Thank you Jennifer and Michael for taking such great care of Mila!”

“What a blessing it was for us to find Saffron. Days before our Thanksgiving vacation we were stuck without a sitter for our boy Levi. I decided to give Rover a try and found Saffron. Within a couple days we did a meet and greet and she brought Fiona and Shrek to meet Levi and they all got along wonderfully! Saffron sent plenty of pictures and videos during my 5 day trip and i didn’t feel like i was missing a thing with my pup! It’s a wrap...this is Levi’s home away from home when mommy and daddy have to travel! Saffron you’re great!”

“This was the second time Graham has taken care of our pups and he did an excellent job again. We are very happy that we have found him through Rover and will definitely use him again in the future.”

“I went looking for a Rover sitter very early in the morning and she had already updated when she was available. That alone convinced me to book her. The meet and greet went well and I knew that she would take great care of my babies. She is simply the best. My "vampire kitty" looked well cared for in the pictures she sent me. Next time I need a sitter, Mya will be my choice.”

“Haley was GREAT with our two black labs (10yrs and 18 weeks) She came over for a meet and greet and the pups (and the cats too) warmed up to her immediately. She always showed up on time and stayed at least a half an hour. She took lots of pictures and communicated everything that happened on her visit well. We would definitely recommend Haley and will book her again!”

About: As someone who has had cats my entire life, I completely understand and respect that they do things on their own terms. Whether your cat is social and wants constant cuddles, or prefers to observe from afar, I’m comfortable and experienced with it all. My veterinary hospital background also provided me experience with all ages, from tiny newborns to wise seniors, and even those who require special care. I take a lot of pride in getting even the shyest, most skeptical animals to warm up to me. That’s honestly one of my favorite parts of the job! Your cat will be safe, respected, and cared for exactly how they prefer, on their own terms.

“We were gone for almost 2 weeks and Brandi took excellent care of our fur babies and our home! You can tell she genuinely loves animals. She is professional and communicated with us each day. Attended to our pets unique needs and medication administration. Our house was spotless when we got back. Highly recommend Brandi!”

About: I’ve gained experience the last few years in taking care of our German Shepherd, Luna and sweet kitty, Cookie! I always dog sit for friends when they’re out of town and I’ve learned how to give pills to dogs. One of my friend’s dogs has allergy problems and has to take pills for it, so she had to teach me how to do that. I love playing fetch and taking dogs on walks! I also wouldn’t mind giving your dog a bath (or taking him/her to the pet store to bathe them there!). Feel free to message me with any questions you might have! I am available every day after 4:00 and every weekend as needed. I have a flexible schedule and have a good amount of free time. I will make sure your animal or animals get the care they need and make sure they are well taken care of no matter what!
“Jennifer always provides excellent care for our kitty. We appreciate the time she spends with him—playing, giving pets and of course Bilbo’s favorite—treats and canned food. Highly recommend Jennifer!”

“Where to begin?! My 3.5 yr old goldendoodle failed his temperament test at a local dog boarding place just a few weeks before my vacation. In a panic, I hopped on Rover. Come to find one of my former students, Athena! It was a NO BRAINER to have her do drop-in visits while I was away. Fredo IMMEDIATELY grew a liking to her. She *always* had such a kind, compassionate, and nurturing energy about her. She went ***ABOVE AND BEYOND*** and truly superseded our expectations!!! The constant picture and video updates definitely tempered the sting of the dog mommy separation anxiety! …I think my dog was even annoyed when I got home because he knew that meant Athena’s job was done ?. Choosing her as a sitter for your pet(s) is the BEST thing you can do for you and your furry fam!!!!”

“Can't give enough compliments to Tara and her family! I have been traveling a lot with my dog and ran into dilemmas when I couldn't bring him certain places with me. Knowing he would be an anxious mess staying in an unfamiliar setting, I looked for nearby sitters and was amazed at Tara's quick response on such short notice. Her neighborhood is perfect for dog walking and her home is clean, safe, and comfortable. Her children are so respectful and were wonderful helpers during Crusoe's stay. I received photos of him enjoying time outside and of course cuddling with the little ones! I rebooked again with Tara the next day and won't hesitate to do so next time we're in town!”

About: I am a teacher who LOVES animals, especially dogs. They will be treated like my own and will be in a safe and very comfortable environment. I tend to spoil them a bit. My home is very clean, non-smoking, and your dogs will have free reign of the house as long as they are completely house trained/potty trained. If not (puppies), I love to help train them and they could either stay in a comfortable crate while I am away or at work or in an enclosed play pen if they are larger than my crate. I have 2 pugs, Bentley & Bruiser. Bruiser is 9, and Bentley is 2. Both are sweet and love other dogs. Feel free to contact me with any questions! I’m a teacher and about to be off for the summer, so my schedule is pretty flexible for drop ins or walks. I have a very clean, smoke-free home, where my pets have free reign of the entire house, even while I am out. If your dog is well trained, they would be free to roam, sleep on the couch, etc. My neighborhood is perfect for long walks and I usually take my pups on about a mile long walk every day.
About: Dogs have been part of our life forever, and now we share our adventures with our playful 2.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog! We’re pros at beach zoomies, exploring trails at John’s Island County Park, and playing with our friends at the dog park. Your furry friend will be treated like part of the pack—playtime, snuggles, and endless tail wags guaranteed! Your dog(s) can have their own separate comfortable suite in our home or can mingle and play as much as they'd like with our pup, whichever you/they prefer! Conveniently located on your way to Kiawah/Seabrook Island, we are here to make your time away from home comfortable and convenient! We have a unique living situation where we live above the bicycle shop we own so one of us will be “home” most of the days. Our schedules aren’t consistent but if we aren’t “home” running the shop, we won’t be away from home for longer than 3 hours at a time. In our home, pets are treated like family, and every day is a new adventure! The mornings always kick off with fetch in our yard. While we’re in the process of building a fence, our yard is tucked away off the road, next to a quiet driveway leading to a storage facility—plenty of space to play safely! Our dog (and yours, if you’re comfortable) then heads to work at the bicycle shop, where she’s the official greeter and mood booster, soaking up love from coworkers (furry ones and human ones) and guests. Midday breaks are all about chasing tennis balls and soaking in extra snuggles. After work, the real fun begins! We head to John’s Island County Park’s dog park or Beachwalker Park for epic sunset zoomies on the beach. Your pup will enjoy endless playtime, love, and adventure with us—it’s a tail-wagging good time every single day! Your dog(s) can join in on all the fun with the other pups and people or can be kept separate while still being comfortable, getting lots of play, and all the love they need!
“Cynthia was great! Very understanding that Star my dog was quite anxious and was very accommodating to any needs that she might have needed. Star was so tired after her day with Cynthia and Winston will definitely be rebooking!”

“Scarlet received the best care, love and cuddles. Concern was expressed when they thought she wasn’t eating and they reached out to me right away. I received lots of pictures and updates. I will definitely be leaving Scarlet with John H in the future!”

“Anna took wonderful care of my pup, Ruby. She provided lots of updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Ruby was clearly happy and well cared for. I would absolutely book with Anna again!”

“This was my first time using Jessica and also Blu’s first time with a petsitter. I was extremely nervous to leave him for the weekend with someone he didn’t know because Blu gets anxious really easily. However, within the first hour of dropping him off, Jessica sent me a video of Blu and her dog River, chasing each other in her fenced in backyard having a good time. Her dog River is a sweet natured dog that really helps new dogs being left in Jessica’s care, acclimate to the new environment. Within just a couple hours, she sent me a photo of Blu laying on top of her husband on the couch, which is something I haven’t seen him do with anyone except myself. Jessica was extremely responsive providing pictures throughout each day he was there without me having to ask. She’d send me an update each day before I’d even begin to think about how he was doing. I highly recommend and will definitely be using her again every time I need a sitter in the Summerville/Charleston area.”
