I work with pets every day, so I’m experienced in handling all kinds of personalities and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, or just have a calm companion, I’ll care for them like they’re part of my own family. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! Pet care is a part of my everyday life! I work with animals daily, so caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy and naturally make time for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply giving them love and attention, I’ll make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I follow their routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of attention. If they stay in my home, I have a clean space, friendly dogs, a fenced-in yard with plenty of room to run, and a way to separate pets when needed to keep everyone happy and comfortable. 🐾
“It was a joy to meet Brooke she is a very warm and friendly person and was excellent when meeting Bella even when she love bombed Brooke. Bella has a great time on her long walk and we will look forward to seeing Brooke again soon.”

“Very considerate! Tended to last minute request. Dogs were let out walked and put back away and home locked when leaving. Really appreciated the help. Communicated throughout the whole process I wasn’t home at the time so it was nice being notified when she got there and walked them even got some photos of them playing at a dog park near by and notified when she left.”

“Truly the best care I have ever had for my pets! I have a sensitive cat that takes a lot of warming up and Emily’s patience with him astounded me. She was so kind and communicative about the whole process and her knowledge and expertise with animals really showed. I HIGHLY recommend Emily for any pet care you may have, she will not disappoint. I mean she gave my dog a bath just because she was a little smelly from all her walks in the Texas heat! And did I mention her communication is on point! Truly superb, I can’t say enough good things about her :)”

About: Hi! I’m Alana. I’m based in the Conroe/Willis area, but I’m currently a sophomore at UTSA pursuing my master’s degree in Psychology, so I’m also available in the San Antonio area! I keep my calendar updated regularly, but feel free to message me anytime with questions or availability inquiries. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. Pets hold such a special place in my heart, not only because they’re adorable, but because of the unconditional love and joy they bring into our lives. Pet sitting is more than just a job to me, it’s something I truly care about. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, medication routines, or cozy cuddle time, I’m here to give your furry family members the care and attention they deserve. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always played an active role in their care. I have a 14 year old cat named Tootie, whom I’ve had since I was 4 years old, and I now care for her full time to ensure she stays comfortable and well loved. I also help care for our 13 year old Flat Coated Retriever, Lucy, who has separation anxiety and arthritis, as well as our energetic 7-year-old Golden Retriever, Dino. Caring for pets with different personalities, ages, and needs has given me hands on experience with administering medications, maintaining routines, exercise, emotional support, and senior pet care. I’ve also pet sat for both dogs and cats outside of my home, and I always approach every experience with patience, responsibility, and genuine love for animals of all ages. As a pet parent to a senior dog with separation anxiety, a senior cat, and a high energy golden retriever, pet care is already an essential part of my everyday life. My mornings start with the 1st meal of the day, making sure water bowls are filled, they have gone outside & have done their business, & structured walks and individual attention giving my golden retriever the active start he needs, while making sure my senior pets have a calm, predictable routine that suits their pace. Throughout the day, I ensure everyone gets what they need, their dinner, their playtime in the pool, medication, & quiet snuggles. This experience makes me highly adjusted to different energy levels, medical needs, and emotional cues, and it’s made pet care second nature in both my daily and weekly routines. It also means I’m never far from a leash, a toy, or a comforting word because I truly love and live this life every day! As a dedicated and responsible pet sitter, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress free environment for your pet while you're away! I prioritize maintaining your pet’s routine, whether it's feeding, playtime, walks, or simply cuddling on the couch. I make sure that your pet receives the care and attention they need, any special instructions you provide, from medical needs to behavioral needs. Your pet’s well being is my top priority, and I’m committed to giving them the same level of care and affection I would give to my own. As a girl that can’t imagine life without my 3 pets, you can trust me to keep your pet comfortable, happy, and secure, while keeping you updated with regular check-ins and photos so you can rest easy while you’re away!

I like to stay outside with the animals just to keep an eye as you never know what can arise. I like to meet prior to sitting so that animals get a sense of myself
“Paulina has done a great job of taking care of my babies while I’m away at work. My pups love her and I couldn't be more pleased with the level of care and professionalism provided. She communicates effectively, always letting me know how the walk went with updates and pictures. She goes above and beyond to ensure my dogs are safe and well-cared for. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
