About: I didn't have dogs growing up but I always pet-sat for friends and family. I have dog-sat, walked, and groomed dogs of all sizes. I also grew up riding horses so I have a ton of experience handling dogs and other animals together. My first dog was a 100 pound German shepherd/ Rottweiler mix who was my heart and soul. We lived with a big Rottweiler for a few years so I got very comfortable handling multiple large dogs on my own. Then when I got married my ex husband and I had my old dog, two pit bulls, and a cattle dog/ jack russel mix. I was there sole care taker and they taught me so much. I got divorced and it was just me and my shepherd, who sadly passed away in 2022. Fast forward to now and I have a 5 year old son and a Dalmatian/ terrier mix. We treat her as well as we treat my little boy. We recently (well in the last year) added a young female foxhound to the family. She is SO sweet and silky and has been the best addition to our mix! The past ten or so years have given me so much experience caring for multiple dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperments. I’m just super passionate about giving my animals and those I care for the absolute best care I can. It’s also given me experience administering medication, giving shots, walking multiple dogs at a time, feeding special individualized diets, taking care of a special needs dog, etc. I’m just a true animal lover :) I am currently not working so my schedule is incredibly flexible to meet your pets needs around the clock. I wake up early, let the dogs out in the backyard, feed them, let them out again. They usually play outside for a little bit before coming inside to nap. When my husband gets home we take them on walks, play in the yard, or go walk our favorite trail. Then we go home, feed dinner, and relax until bed time! At home my dog is walked Atleast three times a day, and one of those walks is always somewhere different- the beach, the park, the cross city trails, etc. When we’re hanging at home we provide lots of enrichment activities, playtime with toys, and also enjoy just snuggling on the couch. While your dog is in my care they will receive the same. We feed our dog a special diet and she requires daily allergy medication so meeting your dogs dietary and medication needs is no issue. Our dog is allowed on furniture, so as long as it is okay with you we have no problem with your pup joining us on the couch or in our bed. However if they aren’t allowed, we have multiple dog beds in each room so they can still be comfortable while we’re being lazy. Although we no longer have a fenced yard, our yard is pretty big and we take our dog out on the long lead often to sniff and play so your dog will receive lots of outside time as well.

About: I always grew up with a dog in my house, so I know how to tend to their needs. Not only do I take care of my own, but my neighbors heavily rely on me as well. I am currently a college student and working one job; however, I am great at scheduling my time and can work around situations when needed. Anything for the pets! I have an electric fence for both of my dogs so they have the ability to play for however long. Furthermore, they get treats for when they do something good and I correct them when they do something bad.

About: I've always taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I used to dog walk and stay in friends' houses overnight to dog sit. I am currently in Leland with my mom! I am available everyday of the week except Saturdays and Sundays! I am so excited to meet your little fur babies! I love playing with my 5-year-old pit-lab mix Chewbacca in the yard! I always take him out on walks 2-3 times a day and sometimes take him for car rides for a pup cup at Starbucks!

About: I have friends and family that trust me to watch and house their dogs and I have helped raise a dog when I lived at my parent’s house. I am off on weekends and I would have time to properly exercise and care for your pet. I am into fitness and nutrition and I would be a great fit for someone that has a pet that needs exercising. I have a large townhome that is roomy and comfortable. I have plenty of room to crate your pet if that is what is preferred. I would love to include your dog on my walks and hikes in and around the neighborhood and Cape Fear area.
