About: I’m a lifelong animal lover whose always had dogs and cats throughout my childhood and adulthood. I also have professional experience working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for 70+ dogs each day. That experience taught me how to handle dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs while making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and loved. At home, we have a good sized fully fenced-in yard where your dog can run, play, and get plenty of outdoor time. I also love staying active myself, so going for walks with the dogs is one of my favorite parts of pet care. Whether your pet needs some extra playtime, a good long walk, or simply some love and companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I recently moved to North Carolina from Massachusetts with my fur babies and husband for my husband’s career and to continue his college career at UNCW. Currently, I am not working and pet care is my only focus. I give all my animals/the animals that I care for lots of love and attention. Additionally, I give them lots of play time and exercise.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life. Growing up, our family always had dogs and cats, and as an adult, I’ve had the privilege of caring for two blind rescue dogs, as well as my current lovable 16-pound Aussiedoodle, Zoey. Zoey lives with me and gets along well with other dogs. For the past 2½ years, I’ve owned and operated a dog-walking and cat-care business, caring for a variety of neighborhood pets. My experience includes three 19-year-old cats, two medium and large Doodles, a Dachshund I’ve cared for since he was just 10 weeks old, and dogs of many different mixed breeds, ages, and personalities. My approach is to always let the animal lead. Both of my rescue dogs came from very difficult circumstances, and I learned how important patience, trust, and a sense of safety are. Rather than expecting an animal to immediately feel comfortable with me, I give them the time and space they need to open up on their own. With a calm, loving, and safe environment, that trust usually begins to develop naturally. I’m especially comfortable with animals who may be shy, fearful, cautious, or unsure of strangers. I take a very gentle approach, allowing them to get to know me at their own pace. Once they feel safe and comfortable, that’s when the magic unfolds! I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that means sleeping in a crate at night or curling up on the bed. I live in a first-floor apartment facing a nice open green space, which makes it easy to provide frequent potty breaks and neighborhood walks. With pet-parent permission, it’s my norm to send daily updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing while you’re away. I’m also comfortable administering medications and handling foods that require refrigeration or freezing. I watch dogs who are 1-25 lbs. My schedule is fairly flexible, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and needs. Just let me know what works best for you and your pet! I am currently retired so I am home most of the day/night. I live with my 16 lb non-shedding Aussie doogle dog, Zoey. I may step out to run errands, go to an appointment, other, but am otherwise at home. I allow dogs to sleep on my bed or stay in a crate at night, per pet parents wishes. If you are traveling and require a pick up after 6 pm just let me know so we can work something out. I live in an apartment on the first floor, so I have easy access to let dogs out for potty breaks as I face an open green space. I live in a safe community with plenty of sidewalks and street lighting. I often walk my dog clients in the morning when it is cool outside, so they can get adequate exercise. On rainy days, I like to occupy your pet with tug-o-war, or a treat-kong, or playing with other toys. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys.

About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! Whether your pup needs a good walk, lots of playtime, some extra cuddles, or your kitty just needs someone to keep them company, I’m here for it! I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re being loved on. I work 6-hour shifts, 5 days a week, so I have flexibility before and after work as well as on my days off. I am off my actual job Sundays/ Mondays. Tuesdays I work 10-4. Wednesdays/ Thursdays I work 8-2. Fridays I work 2-8. My Saturday schedule varies! I’m also a mom, so my daughter may occasionally be with me for walks or drop in visits. I’m happy to work with each pet parent to find a schedule that works well for everyone! Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, love, playtime, and care based on their individual routine. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, and anything else they need to feel comfortable. In your home, I’ll respect your space and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. In my home, I’ll provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can relax and feel at home.

I understand your needs and pay great attention to detail. I will communicate with you as much as you'd like with pictures, video's, texts and phone calls. About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!
About: I grew up being the one primarily responsible for taking care of my family’s labradors. I’ve always been an animal lover. My family has both a Boykin Spaniel and a Russian Blue cat. I have also taken care of family friends and neighbors cats and dogs. I love going for walks and playing with furry friends. I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, as well as cats and small animals like hamsters. When your pet stays at our house they are allowed in bed and on our furniture. The only thing I ask is that your pet is kid, dog, and cat friendly :) If you would like to bring your animal to my house I would be more than happy to watch them here, but if you would rather me come to your house that is fine too! I do offer drop in visits at your house but am unable to stay there while you are away. When your pet is at our house they will be loved and spoiled like one of our own pets :) *Updated 11/01/2024- I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids and a full time pet sitter. I will send pictures of your pet while you are away but I do only send pictures every other day unless it is a one night stay or Doggy daycare. (you'll get pictures that day!) If you are interested in having pictures sent to you every day or are interested in any additional services, I do charge an extra fee which can be discussed and added on when booking. :) Also, I do usually send my pictures and updates in the evening. About: I have four cats and a german shepherd. I grew up having dogs and cats my whole life. I have raised kittens and bottle fed them and have experience with small dogs and very large dogs. I currently work full time monday- friday. I am available early mornings, I have an hour lunch break, and I am available after 3pm most days! I am free all day on the weekends. I can easily travel to care for your pets and do whatever is necessary to provide proper care! I cannot bring your pets to my home however I can transport them!

About: I've been around well trained and untrained dogs alike for most of my life. I am capable with strong dogs, aggressive dogs, and dogs who just have tons of energy!
