About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

I currently work Monday through Friday until 330 but I'm able to check on your dogs first thing in the morning on my lunch break and as well as after work and before bed if needed! About: I grew up with a wheaten terrier. I would always feed and walk neighbors pets while they were on vacation and watched neighbors pets in my home while they were gone for a week. I currently live with my boyfriend and his dog however they will be gone for the next 2 months so there will be no pets in the home. I work M-F, 8AM-3PM. About: I had two rambunctious but precious dogs growing up, so I'm not put off by a tough exterior. I know a mean bark does not equal a mean soul. I've dog, cat, and house sat for friends and teachers in the past, and most recently I've been volunteering at Addie Catz Sanctuary, so I'm well accustomed to cleaning messes, navigating reactive animals, and loving on pets. I'm more than happy to answer any questions :) I have obligations from 10am-12pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, but otherwise I'm completely available until college classes start on August 19th, when my hours will be cut back every weekday morning (busy from 9am-12pm). I have a fenced yard and three friendly cats. I have two extra bedrooms to crate your dog if needed or to separate any kitty that doesn't play well with others.

I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, as well as cats and small animals like hamsters. When your pet stays at our house they are allowed in bed and on our furniture. The only thing I ask is that your pet is kid, dog, and cat friendly :) If you would like to bring your animal to my house I would be more than happy to watch them here, but if you would rather me come to your house that is fine too! I do offer drop in visits at your house but am unable to stay there while you are away. When your pet is at our house they will be loved and spoiled like one of our own pets :) *Updated 11/01/2024- I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids and a full time pet sitter. I will send pictures of your pet while you are away but I do only send pictures every other day unless it is a one night stay or Doggy daycare. (you'll get pictures that day!) If you are interested in having pictures sent to you every day or are interested in any additional services, I do charge an extra fee which can be discussed and added on when booking. :) Also, I do usually send my pictures and updates in the evening.
