About: Been a pet mom since I was young. All the pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles, birds, rodents and fish! Even cared for and rehabilitated a Macaw. About: I have rescued dogs all of my life. I don't know that I have any more experience than others but I don't have any less...and I KNOW I have a love for animals. It was almost the downfall of my last marriage...I somehow got on a death row email from the shelter in Greenville and came home with ALL the babies. They took over the bed. I lovingly became known as the Travelers Rest "shelter". I believe whole heartedly that we do not deserve animals...that they are WAY too good for use mere humans. I do not believe in "spanking" dogs but I do believe some dogs respond better to different types of learning...i.e, corrective vs. positive reinforcement. I will never override a pet parents directives no matter what I believe. PLEASE do NOT take my repeat score/minimal reviews as a bad sign (I book a lot outside of Rover). I love my clients and their parents and we become fast frands! Any will GLADLY give a reference we just book repeat off of here to save everyone the service fees once trust is established. I do ask that if you are boarding or if your babies are in daycare that they are up to date on all vaccinations ( including the Bordetella vaccine) I just want to keep everyone's babies safe. I am currently a stay at home dog mom to my 1 senior dog and 2 others so I am available to love on your babies anytime the need the smooches. I have a fenced in yard and I can easily crate or gate off areas in your home that you want in or out of. About: I’ve taken care of many kinds of dogs and animals. I have kept older dogs, puppies, very large dogs, smaller dogs, deaf and blind animals, and I love them all. I am a huge dog person and I love to be able to take care of them when it’s needed. About: I grew up surrounded by animals my entire life. However, my deep connection/love for animals (specifically dogs) started when i was about 6 years old. My nana (grandma) owned a dog rescue in Georgia named Deep South Canine Rescue and it became like a second home for me. About: Hi! I have had dogs since I was born. Older, younger, smaller, larger, much larger. I have been dog watching since around age 14 or so. I currently have one chiweenie (13), my sweet baby, whom I had to leave for a bit because of schooling, though I tend to her weekly. I also volunteer at a nearby animal shelter to help out the understaffed staff with all of their animals as well! Safety for your pup is very important to me, so we might take a trip to a nearby dog park if they are residing with me for an allotted time.
