“We were very pleased to have had Harley stay with Alexis and would 100% recommend her as a host. When I first met her I could tell off the bat she was good with handling dogs. She has a sweet pup of her own and on the morning we dropped off my Harley, Alexis was also taking care of another dog for a few days. At first she had the other dogs outside knowing my dog is a little afraid of other dogs, but brought them in one at a time to introduce to Harley so he wouldn't be afraid and overwhelmed when he first arrived. Alexis was very warm and welcoming to Harley and during the day she contacted me just to assure me Harley was doing well and sent me a couple of photos of him. Alexis also took Harley for walks and knowing he gets seperation anxiety he went on a little outing with her...In the end Harley was a happy dog and I would definitely have Alexis take care of him again!!!”

About: My girlfriend and I have over 10 years of animal care experience. Anything from boarding, training, fostering, and sitting. We look forward to spending time with your pet and giving them the best possible experience they can have. Long walks on a walking trail or Montgomery Bell Park are some of our favorites. Trust in us for all of your pets needs. Our animals are our life and someone will be there for round the clock care for your pet. More than willing to work with you on timing and boarding days anyway we can to make sure you have the best experience. I have a fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy quality playtime with our well trained pups. All pups will be crated at night for bed with minimum crate time throughout the day. If you have any special needs your dog needs accommodated we would be more than happy to do so. Communication is key so just let us know.

About: I LOVE dogs and cats. I have had dogs and cats of my own my whole life of all breeds and sizes. From over night stays, to just a quick check in I will be available for any need your dog(s) may have. Activities I enjoy most with dogs- walks, inside & outside playtime, and doggy cuddles. I am willing travel to reach you around the Dickson/ Hickman County areas. I am also willing to take dogs to appointments/dog parks in my car so I am versatile and mobile. I try my hardest to be flexible with my schedule to be available at different times as much as possible. No dog is too small or too big. No dog is too young or old. Trust me to take care of your dog care needs. Please note I don't mind dropping in to help with cats and walking cats also. Just due to allergies I cannot have them in my own home. I work from home and my husband and I are home most nights and weekends. So, he will be around your animals as well in our home. Any drop in visits and walking I will be handling myself. We have two (female) dogs of our own who require medications and extra care. So, we are familiar with routines for dogs with special needs/ requests as well. I have also had dogs in my care from newborn puppies to senior dogs. So, I am used to furry friends of all ages and sizes. In home we have two (female) dogs of our own who get along great with other dogs. Our home offers a fenced in back yard so dogs can hangout outside or inside. There are various dog beds throughout and an extra room to allow for personal space, alone, and quiet time. Going to other's homes I stay mindful of a dog's or cat's space and preferences, as well as clients personal property. I also have access to nearby dog parks and I live in a neighborhood where I can walk dogs for extra exercise as well.

About: My experience with dogs is extensive. I am a dog trainer of 36 years, a dog groomer of 30 year and a dog breeder of 25 years. My knowledge extends deep into those areas; from the whelping of puppies, vaccinating, training, administering medications, high end professional grooming and caring for dogs in general in the best manner. Your dog will be in very safe hands with me. Note**- additional dog discounted rate only applies if dogs share the same suite and run. If not, additional dogs are the same rate as a single dog. Boarding dogs is my full time job, and I also provide grooming service to qualifying dogs part time. I am home most of the time and I wouldn't do anything else as taking care of dogs is where my heart is. I am available to communicate with you most of the time. We are located on a 16 acre farm and also have a huge fenced yard where our boarding building is. The indoor suite building is about 70 feet from our home where we have clear direct view on the dogs at all times. it is located in a lush green grass area, well maintained and beautiful. Dogs have access to spacious outdoor runs and spacious indoor suites that are climate controlled. The outdoor dog runs are cleaned and maintained 3 times a day. Outdoor dog runs have 6' tall chain link fence that can secure an escape artist. We were told by our clients how pleased they are with the clean and comfortable environment the dogs are kept in. We house up to 8 dogs at a time, therefore your dog will be in relaxed, non chaotic environment which is private and non commercial and they will be getting the most attention as a result.

Crate policy: Dogs will be crated in our home for short periods if we are away to run an errand. This is for the safety of visiting dogs, our own dogs, and our home. Dogs will be crated at night for sleeping. We gladly accept your personal crates while visiting or your personal beds or blankets. Please add any questions to your booking request!
