“Linda is excellent! I have never used an in home sitter, and had a really GREAT experience with Linda. She came over in advance to meet me, meet the dogs (I have 3), and get the lay of the land with the house and back yard. I really appreciated the time she took (free of charge) to do this. Upon meeting her, I knew she was the right choice for me and my dogs. I got very lucky, as she was my first contact. I could tell Linda could easily manage 3 dogs (which sometimes feels like 100). Linda showed up as promised, minimized time away from dogs, provided great photos, videos and updates. She’s someone you could definitely count on should something happen while you are away. Bottom line. She knows how to handle animals, an home and has a very calm and kind demeanor. I could tell by the videos, that my dogs loved their time with her. Highly recommend Linda!”

About: I love animals. I've had dogs of all sizes and of varying breeds my whole life, from my current pack of dogs including 2 chihuahuas to the 120 pound yellow lab I used to have and dogs of all sizes in between. I love all dogs and spend most of my free time with my dogs, from just feeding them and letting them out to playing with them and even grooming them myself. Despite my mild allergy to them, I also love and have lots of experience with cats. I used to cat sit for my parents friends and have spent lots of time playing with and taking care of cats for my parents' friends and my late grandmother. I'm currently unemployed, so I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets! I feed and let my own dogs out when I get up around 9 AM and then dinner time is at 6, with lots of potty breaks as needed in between and play time as their moods determine, averaging around 3 hours of high activity play per day plus lots of mental stimulation offered with puzzle feeders and whatever other games I come up with. I have a fenced yard and 4 very friendly dogs of my own, but I can make sure your dogs get leashed before going out if needed and can crate dogs as needed. My babies are spoiled enough to be used to sleeping with people, meaning I'm happy to snuggle your babies as they're used to.

About: I have pet sat since I was 13 years old off and on for friends and family. Then at 20 I got on an app called wag and booked with strangers to pet sit there. I was in a difrent city and it's not as popular here so I thought I'd give rover a try! I love getting to know new animals and can't wait to see how many I get to know on here. Im working part time right now Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3-6. So ive got plenty of extra time on my hands to feed, and play with your cats or dogs ! For dogs I'll go on walks, lay on the couch with them, feed as instructed, play fetch, and go to the dog park (if the dog gets along well with other animals). For cats I'd lay on the couch with them, play with them, feed as instructed, and change litter as needed.

What makes my experience a little unique is my time volunteering with Domesti-Pups, a nonprofit in Lincoln that trains service and therapy dogs. It was such a rewarding experience and gave me the chance to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have nearly a decade of professional sitting experience at all stages of the life cycle, from bottle feeding to end-of-life support. My availability opened up when my beloved cat, Hugo, passed in December 2025. He was my special big boy and my joy; I miss him every day! During the last year of his life, I managed his multiple major health conditions including diabetes, kidney failure, and congestive heart failure. He had chronic urinary issues for his entire life despite prescription diets and various intervention attempts, and thus I was always on the lookout for signs of UTI. My boy was anxious and became notorious at multiple veterinary clinics for getting agitated during his checkups. I am eternally grateful to every person who showed him love and gentleness when his behavior was challenging. I strive to show the same loving care to my clients with the promise that even "difficult" pets will be treated like my absolute favorite creature on earth. Depending on the level of care required, I am comfortable with meeting in person or virtually before the sit. My ability to give medication will vary by the relationship and administration method. I typically ask that I perform an on-site home visit before the sit with any pets needing insulin injections, oral (both pill and liquid) medications, or subcutaneous fluid. As a singer and gig worker, I ensure that flexibility is built into my schedule. I am frequently available during business hours and around holidays! Bringing a sense of security is critical in this work. I have one client who requested a short video of the door being locked each day. I will work with you and make every effort to let you know that your home and/or loved one is in good hands.
