10. Damien V.
“Phillip Leidy 264 Tussey Sink Rd. Centre Hall, PA 16828 phillipleidy@gmail.com 215.206.3259 Sept 1, 2023 My husband and I have a pretty special rescue dog named Dexter. He’s an extremely loving and bright dog, but has his share of issues. I wouldn’t classify him as an easy dog to take care of by any means. Finding Damien was a relief because he is a pro at understanding and caring for dogs, and we knew Dexter was in capable hands. Damien is our go-to dog walker and in-home dog sitter. We’re normally nervous about leaving our dog, but after our first time having Damien as our dog sitter, we immediately felt comfortable leaving him under his care. We got frequent photo and video updates of his visits with Dexter, and could see he absolutely adored his time with him. We always came home to find a tired dog (he spent a lot of his visits playing with him and tiring him out) and a well taken care of house. It was always a relief being able to be away from home long-term and know that our dog having a wonderful time. I can be reached at the contact information above (email is easiest to reach me) if you have further questions about our experience with Damien’s dog sitting/walking services. Phillip Leidy”

11. Mackenzie S.

“Mackenzie was attentive and sent lots of pictures while we were gone! Many thanks.”

12. Dawn B.
About: I’ve been around pets since the age of 5. Growing up I’ve hand numerous dogs at one time caring for them on a full time basis. As a young adult I continued that with various different breeds as well as cats, rabbits, and fish. I have 30+ years experience with “bully breeds” and to the smallest of breeds at the same time I can drop in 3 times a day to feed, walk or leave out, and spend time with any animal. I love walking dogs also! My pets are indoor pets that are truly loved and nurtured with a balance of positive behavior reinforcement with the respect of them feeling safe in their own space. My dogs have over an acre to run freely in and are trained to stay on the property boundaries. My 3 kitties are all indoor but love the fresh air and have their own cat curio placed outside one window for them to go out and enjoy the nice air without being outside in danger

13. Kristin D.
“Kristin is a passionate animal lover, dog mom, and animal advocate who always goes above & beyond. She is very reliable, caring, and will not hesitate to go the extra mile! Kristin also spends time with her "extended fur family" at the local animal shelter where she is well known as a dedicated volunteer who loves taking the shelter pups on special adventures, and helping with events. If you are looking for someone who will ensure your fur baby is treated like family while receiving top notch care Kristin is the person for you and your pets!”

14. Samantha S.
About: Hi there! I have been around pets and loving animals all my life. I’m open to caring for any pet, but I will admit I’m a big cat lover. I’m currently in college, so I frequently travel between Lock Haven and Spring Mills. However, I’m just quick drive away from State College and Bellefonte. I’m unavailable to offer care at my home due to space and my own animals, but I will provide care to animals in their homes and/or walking services.

15. Crystal S.
“Crystal is a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy person. When she watched our 2 cats (Spencer & Meow-meow) and dog (Mini-Schnauzer - Sami) while we were away for 4 days, she sent us many pictures of a our fur-babies and communicated daily with us. Absolutely a wonderful experience with her and very pleased.”

16. Paige K.
About: Hello, my name is Paige. Animals have been a part of my family for the entirety of my life and I truly love spending time with all types of fur babies! I have had a variety of dogs and cats growing up and most recently live with two 100+ pound rottweilers. We bred our female rottweiler and raised 12 healthy beautiful pups! Family members and neighbors have relied on me to feed, bathe, walk, administer medicine, and take care of their furry babies! I have over 15 years of experience caring for all types of animals (even birds and hamsters)! No matter the age, breed, or aggression level, I have seen it all and I am ready to spoil your baby! I am currently a student at Penn State and am looking for some work for the summer so I will have ample time to give your fur babies the care they deserve! I will leave your place better than I found it and leave your dog happier than before! My dogs at home have been crate trained and I am willing to crate your fur babies as well! Just leave me specific instructions on what you need for the day and you will come home stress-free!

About: I've been looking after animals since I was young. I've always been around them and taught how to properly care for them. I've been trusted to watch neighbors, friends, and family pets while they were away. I know how to care for really young pups to senior dogs who need medications and a higher level of love and attention than other dogs. As well as everything in between. I love animals and making them/seeing them happy makes me happy as well. I’m currently working part time from 10-4 Monday-Thursday so I still have lots of time to engage with and care for my own animals as well as others! I have a large yard for your pup to run around and my own pup to keep company. We often go for walks/hikes/bike rides and if the weather is nice we go for swims in a local river and lake! We can be very active and also sleep most of the day away! All depends on pups energy and comfort levels. Everything I do is based around my dog (and the other pups) comfort level and energy level. I have long leashes (70ft) for fun time outside if your pup cant be offleash.

18. Cassie L.

“Cassie took amazing care of my pup! She has 2 dogs of her own so she knows dogs! She took my worries away leaving my new pup at home. Thanks Cassie!!”

19. Ashleigh D.
About: I have had pets almost my whole life and love having dogs. I enjoy their company, seeing them happy, taking care of them, and playing with them. I take good care of my pets and make sure they are up to date on shots and vaccines, have food and clean water everyday, and have room outside to use the bathroom and run and play. I also make sure they are safe, happy, and get the exercise they need. I also like to spoil them with treats and lots of toys! I have trained my dogs to sit. I’m currently teaching my puppy to shake. I work full time during the day but am home in the evenings and weekends with my dog. I play with him outside and take him for walks. He stays in a crate during the day due to still being a puppy, but I try to have him out of his crate as much as possible. He is spoiled with treats, toys, and lots of love. He sleeps in bed with me at night and is allowed to be on the couch. He is part of the family! I currently have a male puppy (American Bulldog mix) that is very friendly. He loves people and dogs. I’m not sure how he is around cats. He doesn’t seem to pay attention to them but I’m sure he’d be fine around them. I have a fenced in backyard where he is able to run and play. He is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in bed with me at night. He is crated during the day when I’m not home due to still being a puppy. He is given a bath every week to every other week usually and is spoiled with love, treats, toys, and meeting other people.

20. Grace W.
About: I have been taking care of animals for about 5 years now. My family always relied on me to stop in and check on their animals, whether I would walk, feed, play with them, bathe them, etc. Being in college, I’m further away from animals than I’ve ever been, so this opportunity would be amazing! I am currently a full time college student and work a part time job every weekend starting Friday. I am available Monday and Wednesday all day. Tuesdays my classes end at 10:45 and 5:45 and on Thursdays my classes end at 5:45. So any times before, after or in between those hours would be wonderful! I have a fenced in yard back at home, where I own a pitbull who LOVES to play. She is definitely a puller when it comes to walking so I am prepared to walk any dogs that pull.
