She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. I currently work from home, mostly second shift, with a fairly flexible schedule. As long as I have Internet, I am able to work from almost anywhere (within reason obviously lol). I am often up late, but don’t mind early morning walks. I currently reside in a rental home, so I have permissible access to in-home accommodations. I have an SUV and am able transport crates and smaller or larger breeds if needed. I prefer to provide care in your own home - care that will be up to your standards and conveys that I will treat your animal(s) as I would my own. Pets are typically more comfortable in their territory and therefore I prefer to cause them less stress. I am very laid back and self sufficient, so I will make minimal adjustments while in your/their space and will absolutely be respectful to your home and belongings.

About: I have taken care of dogs for the most part of my life. I have never not had a dog in my house. I also look after my bosses dogs when needed. My grandma helped me understand the responsibality for taking care of animals. I am free Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 1 in the afternoon and I am free Tuesday and Thursdays all day until 5:45 as I have cheer those days until 8:30. Wednesdays I am available until 6-8 because I have cheer lift. I am also available most weekends unless I have something for cheer. About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. I work part time at home with a dog and two cats. I take physical and mental enrichment very seriously for all animals. Any animal I’m caring for comes first everyday. A tired dog is a happy dog. I have friendly animals at home, a large crate if needed and a separate room set up for shy animals to warm up to the other animals. We have a large (not fenced) yard but we take many long walks a day to keep up with physical needs!

I also follow a consistent routine to maintain stability and comfort for pets. In a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following their specific instructions and maintaining their pet’s usual environment and routines. I ensure that all doors and gates are securely closed, and I keep the home clean and hazard-free. Regular updates and open communication with the pet owners are key to ensuring their pet’s well-being and their own peace of mind.
