About: Hi there! I am Kira and am excited to meet your pets!! I grew up with dogs and other small animals (hamsters, guinea pigs, rats). I have always had a soft spot for animals and they bring me so much joy. I have years of experience sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, as well as volunteering at rescues and pet stores. I am comfortable with all sizes, ages, and breeds. I relocated to Austin in 2022 and am unable to have a pet where I currently live. I miss having pets and would LOVE to love on yours!! I am a strong believer that pets are family and will care for yours as such!! I currently work remote MWF and in office T & TH. My in-office days are very flexible so I have availability in the mornings and afternoons. It is important for me to have details on your pet's personality and normal daily routine. I know it can be stressful for pets to be left at home, so understanding their personality and habits will help me provide the best care possible. Please let me know ahead of time of any medical conditions, restrictions, or special needs.

About: I’ve been a dog owner and have been dog sitting for friends and family since undergrad. I’m comfortable doing all the day-to-day (feed, walk, play) and can do the atypical like bathes, medications, clean-up. I’m a PhD student so study buddies are more than welcome. I’m writing a lot for my program so I can work wherever, keep your pup company, and love having the excuse to break up the day with walks. Having dog sit for a range of pups, I am pretty comfortable letting your dog do it’s thing, be a lap dog, street patrol from the window, chase off the squirrels in the backyard. Let me know how your dog typically operates and I’ll try to maintain the rhythm.

“Emily is my daughter who moved out of our home in 2020, but since that time, I’ve had her come back and watch my two Labrador dogs: Gracie and Griffin whenever me and my wife go on trips. My wife and I have been very busy these past years visiting friends for weddings and going on vacations but I know the dogs will be okay with Emily watching them. She is very responsible, understanding, and patient (especially with Griffin the youngest). Griffin has separation anxiety and will destroy our furniture if someone isn’t there to watch him. While Emily has watched him, he has been calm and nondestructive. Our other dog Gracie is older, but still loves to go on walks and exercise. Emily makes sure to bring the both of them on walks and tire them out. I may be biased since she is my daughter, but you can trust Emily with all your pet’s needs”
