About: I have a long history of caring for animals in freelance, foster, and adoptive roles. There has always been at least one dog in my house — either adopted or a foster. I have owned 3 boxers, 1 Shih Tzu mix, and 1 pit bull; in addition to 10+ fosters (including emergency fosters). Special care I have provided includes: elderly dogs and puppies, mobility issues (paralysis, torn ACL, and only having three legs), rashes, digestive issues, allergies, resource guarding, and blindness and deafness. While I did not grow up around cats, in the past two years I have taken care of 4 cats. 3 of the cats were indoor only, and the other was a hybrid of indoor-outdoor. My responsibilities included: feeding, cleaning, playing/enrichment, and giving medication. I am available most afternoons. I am a college student and work at a Deli. I have classes in the mornings Monday through Thursday; and I usually take shifts Friday through Sunday mornings. I am not able to care for pets in my own home I am adaptable to the needs of your pet. I can engage in indoor and outdoor play, as well as chilling out with low-energy pets.

“I’ve had nia pet sit for me about 3 times and although my dog can be very feisty and picky about the people she stays around i have never had that issue with nia my dog instantly became drawn to nia and with nias patience and understanding my dog was able to becone accustomed to her which worried because my dog doesn’t do well with new people but nia was able to connect with my dog so much that now when my dog sees her she runs towards nia so fast you wouldn’t even realize she was gone.”

About: I would rather be around animals than people. Animals are my comfort and love in this silly world. My daughter and I rescue and donate to local shelters in our area to help all the furry friends (scales included). I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. I grew up in the country, but have spent the last 15 years living down the shore in Asbury Park. I opened our pet sitting business during the pandemic to keep our spirits up during that tough time and virtual school. It made me realize what makes me happy and what I want my life to be about going forward. Now that I'm up north, I would like to start taking care of animals again. I have had animals my whole life including dogs (Great Danes, boxers, bulldogs, pugs, weims), cats, ferrets, rats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, frogs, lizards, and fish. Basically I’ve lived in a zoo all my life and wouldn’t want it any other way. I would love your little babies like they are my own and treat them with kindness. About: When you need someone to not just look after your dog, but to care for them. I will not just walk your dog, but work on leash manners, structured walks while keeping them physical and mentally engaged. Available for morning, afternoon and evening care, as well as overnights. I'm a frim believer in there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes. Safety first, I look to keep your dog safe from not only themselves but other dogs also whether its out on a walk to playing at home.
