About: I have taken care of dogs regularly for 3 years now. Mostly staying at peoples houses for a week or more. I love being able to hang out with dogs and get to know their personality while also helping to relieve the families stress of finding a dog caretaker. I am flexible, if based in the capital region I am available any day of the week for extended time or even just for a drop in. I am a care giver at heart and love pets to dog sitting and walking is the perfect combination. In your home, I will follow whatever rules you set forth and will make sure the dog is comfortable and taken care of in the same way as if you were home.

“I recall one day, her and I were walking in the park and while we were walking we seen a stray dog walk past us and she tried to approach it but it had fled. About 10 minutes later we seen a missing dog sign for that exact same dog we had passed earlier. Shia had immediately called the pet owners and told then when and where she seen the dog, while simultaneously began searching for it herself. She then spent two whole hours searching for the dog checking in the with owners every 15 minutes until The owners got to the location to begin the search to begin the search themselves. ”

He makes sure my older dog doesn't over do it and that my little Yorkie doesn't get hurt (He plays with the older and bigger dog who is very gentle with the little one so he doesn't understand not all big dogs are like that!) He makes sure that the dogs have all the basic needs met which you could have practically anyone do...but he genuinely loves the puppies and makes sure each one of them have emotional needs met too!”

About: Growing up with two dogs I have learned how to sufficiently care and love dogs, whether it is walking, feeding or even grooming I can do it all ! Im currently working part time, my schedule alternates which makes most available to provide pet care on my off-weeks.I work 3-11pm so morning walks work best for me. I have a quiet small home which is perfect for smaller dogs to stay out of trouble. There is a huge park at the end of my block which is perfect to meet and play with other dogs or just enjoy a nice walk.

“Laura was fabulous with our 3 dogs--who can be challenging! She came prepared with a jogging leash to walk 2 of our 3 dogs so they couldn't pull the leash and get away from her. She read all of my notes (3 pages) :) and was conscientious to ensure she completed every request. She's super communicative, which I appreciate. I would rather someone over communicate, than under. So, I know they're doing what I asked and not having any issues. She was also punctual, friendly and just the complete package. We will definitely use her again!”
