“Our experience Monique watching our two pups was phenomenal. From the start she was super communicative and ensured that all needs while we were away were covered. Both pups can be a little much but that did not seem to phase her. Will definitely be rebooking again with her in the future.”
2. Hope S.
“Hope was absolutely amazing! She was attentive to detail and kept us in the loop while we were away. It is obvious that she loves animals and I felt so comfortable knowing my fur babies were in good hands. Hope followed the directions we left to the T and kept in contact with us about what was going on, which we really appreciated! We were lucky to find her on such short notice and will definitely be asking to utilize her services again!”
3. Lexie L.
“We have used Lexie numerous times to care for our 2 year old golden retriever, Mojo! She has been able to juggle both our energetic pup and our energetic kiddos. She is a very trustworthy and caring person towards animals! We have used Lexie on occasion to overnight sit as well without any issues! She is thoughtful in her care of our dog and provides lots of love, attention, and cuddles!”

5. Caroline C.
“This was my first time using Rover.com and Caroline was an absolute gem. She stayed in my home with my dog/cat while I was on vacation (sadly no pets allowed) and I just couldn’t bear to board them in a kennel type environment. Caroline sent pics/videos of her playing with my cat, walking my dog, and checked in daily to let me know all was well which I loved. The animals reslly enjoyed her company and vice versa. She was also very respectful of my home and left it just as she found it which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely hire her again and enthusiastically recommend her to anyone searching for a super sweet sitter at an affordable rate. Thanks Rover for providing such a great service for pet everywhere who aren’t comfortable ‘boarding’ their fur babies. S.Johnston”
6. Kate M.

About: My parents had a dog when I was born and being an only child, he became like a brother to me. My mother loved animals and instilled that love in me. I have almost always had a dog in my life, since birth. My last two dogs were rescues and lived until they were both right around 12. I lost my last dog just a little while back and am finally done having my own. That is why I I've decided to get involved with caring for people's pets. I also spent 4 years working at a major animal superstore. There, I did learn more about pet nutrition, health and care. I truly love all animals and put their health and safety first. I am semi-retired and have days to myself. I do have availability most every day to walk, feed and have play time with pets. I also do have the flexibility to overnight at client's homes. Pets' safety and well-being is paramount to me. I will always pay the utmost attention to your pet(s). I will always abide by pet parent's direction and advice to best care for their pets. And be sweet to them, of course.

10. Katherine P.

11. Meg G.
About: Having had a job bathing dogs, I am also familiar walking dogs of all sizes on their leash. I have had a pet dog of my own for most my life, and have been sitting neighbors’ and friends’ pets since I was a teenager, but chose to only include years of experience since becoming an adult. I have administered ear drops and also medication in the form of tablets. Being around animals is therapy for me, so I would love to meet and care for your fur family. My schedule is very flexible and I can walk dogs and do drop in visits from morning until evening when the sun starts to set. My cats do roam throughout the house, and when my dog was still living, we would put her in a kennel when leaving the house.
12. Patty A.
“Patty took wonderful care of our pups (& beardie) while we took a weekend trip. She sent us pictures & updates, and loved our dogs like they were her own. Will definitely be using Patty again, thank you!”
13. Kat H.
“Kat did a wonderful job taking care of our pets and sending fun photos of them! She was reliable, communicative, and intentional in taking care of both our pets. She took our high energy pup for so many walks and worked really hard to win our shy kitty over. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: I have grew up with dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles since I was born. I have been a kennel technician and a dog sitter for 5+ years. I am a college student at NCSU but am home for the summer until mid-August which is in Clayton, NC. I work a part-time job which entails a shift either from 11:30am-5pm or 5-9/10pm depending on when I am scheduled. But I am totally willing to work around it to care for your pets! In my house we have 3 dogs, 3 cats and a lizard so I am used to having to care for a large amount of animals. I am comfortable caring for animals of all types and sizes. I am very flexible with how I can care for your pet, I will follow your instruction!
15. Sierra C.
“Sierra was fabulous! She was attentive and let me know right away if there were any issues with my nervous nelly girl. She stayed for over a week and when we came back it was like nobody was even in the house. It was just as we left it and my dog was well cared for. I would absolutely trust her again in my house and with my doggy.”
16. Randall A.
About: I have volunteered at the National Mill Dog Rescue so I understand the verbal and non verbal clues that your pets will display when you hire me I am currently working full time supporting the military so I am able to support rest breaks during the evening after 5pm, weekends, or during the whole day of Federal Holidays My current apartment living, while waiting on a house, does not allow me to host your pets. I would only be able to stop in at your place or do a sleep over if you allow my two small dogs to stay overnight

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a kid and I’ll be the first to love up on all the doggies I see while walking my own. I’m full of energy so I can help get some of your dogs energy out! I am a full time night shift EMT. Therefore, I’m available during the hours of the day that most people aren’t. I’m super flexible and available 7 days a week! I have a very friendly 6 year old lab. She is my rock and best friend and I’d be sure to treat your baby as if they were my own. I’ve a crate should your pet need it, but if not, I’m totally comfortable with allowing the dogs roam and do their own thing. I currently am a night shift EMT in Durham which gives me time during to day for quick walks and hang outs with the furry friends! I have a lab mix that is full of energy and loves to make new friends. She loves to snug with other doggies and shares all of her toys!

19. Bernice C.
About: I have worked in animal shelters. I have rescued stray and abused animals and helped located their owners and if I couldn't I kept them until they were ready to find a home. I am currently taking college courses to become an animal cop I want to continue to save the abused and neglected animals. I treat my pets like family. I have helped animals including babysitting in my home and at the residents for 18 years. I have worked at the animal shelter and volunteered there. My passion for animals has never changed. My kids also love animals. They have sat and watched animal cops with me and they say to me mommy we need to help them they need a family. It's sweet seeing my kids feeling the same passion as I do. I am a stay at home mom I do babysit kids during the week. I make sure all dogs get exercise while in my home. I have one 12 year old dog I allow all the animals to free roam unless I start seeing some aggression then I do separate bathroom times and things.
