“Pam was simply amazing with our dog! We received frequent updates with photos and could tell from the start that Bella felt at home with Pam. We highly recommend Pam!”
2. Rachel M.
“Rachel was one of the best Rover’s I’ve ever hired in 5 years of using the App!! She was very responsive and accommodating. She also sent pictures and updates everyday. I wished I lived in the area cause she was amazing!”
3. Josh P.
“Josh was an amazing communicator before, during, and after my pup’s stay. He has an amazing yard and caring attitude (as well as helper daughter!). I’m so grateful for the ease I felt leaving my rescue pup with Josh knowing he would socialize with other dogs, get outside play time, and even receive check in texts and photos. Thanks again for everything Josh (:”
4. Douglas E.
“Douglas was the best sitter for June! I was so pleased with how he looked after her so attentively. She came home happy and healthy, so I know she was getting lots of love and treats!”
5. Tracy J.
“Roo returned happy and tired. He loved playing with Tracy’s dog Bear and running in the yard. Super easy drop off and pick up.”
6. Jen J.
“Jen has cared for my dogs on many occasions. She has also helped me with my cat (ie: nail trimming and grooming). She loves all animals, has had many over the years and has always been a caring and responsible pet owner. She has made her home and yard a convenient and safe place for pets with a pet door and fenced yard. She has ensured that the yard is clean and hygienic and does not contain plants that could be toxic to pets. She provides them with exercise, walking almost daily, and stimulating toys, and a reliable schedule. She provides her pets with a good diet and proper medical care. There is no one I would trust more to care for my pet.”
7. Megan W.
About: With 3 acres of land your pup will have endless room to run and play. Kid pool on hot days and always plenty of fresh water, good food & treats. This is a true vacation. I stay at home so I have plenty of time to excersise your pup, play with them, feed, and medicate them. They are not home alone long periods of time. I have a large fenced in yard. The front acre is dog proof with double locks and boarded gates so even the smartest or smallest dog can’t escape. I have a friendly1 year old German Shepard and an 8 year old Boston Terrier who loves everyone. I can separate dogs or put them together depending on what they want.
8. Amy C.
“Amy is an experienced dog owner who loves dogs and understands them better than anyone I know. She has an intuitive sense of what dogs need and how to make them feel comfortable in new environments. Amy is also adept at managing dog group outings and keeping everyone safe while making sure they have a great time.”
9. Kaden F.
“Kaden is the best. Cocho was so happy with him. Kaden managed Cocho's medication. Kaden took Cocho on excursions. Cocho slept on his bed with him and sat on his lap all the time (and Cocho is nearly 50 pounds). I think my pup wasn't sure if he wanted to stay at Camp Kaden or come home 😅🙂. I would use him again any time I needed a person.”
10. Malia J.
“We had a great experience with Malia. We were in San Luis Obispo to see a performance. We were able to easily drop our dog off with Malia before our show and he was all ready to be picked up when we were ready to head home. Malia was cordial and courteous with us. When we picked up our dog, he appeared content and happy. We hope to work Malia again when we are in town. We highly recommend Malia.”
11. Faith F.
“Faith was great with our dog Meadow! She had fun keeping company with Faith's other dogs, and we got great reports from Faith after taking Meadow on walks around the lake. She even had an extra crate for Meadow for when nobody was home with the dogs. We really appreciated everything that Faith did and plan to use her again!”
12. Maren B.
“Maren was very welcoming and communicative. Gave daily updates on how my dog was doing turning his stay with her and her family. She treated him like her own and made the first time using Rover a really good experience. Would definitely rebook again.”
13. Gage P.
“Gage was very nice and did a great job watching Piper. If we are ever in the area and in need of his services we will definitely have him watch our dog again!”
14. Garrison P.
“Garrison took care of both of our dogs for four nights as we had to leave town. It was our first time getting a rover in this area. Garrison was welcoming and greeted our dogs like a true dog lover would. Our dogs were very content upon picking them up. I would recommend him.”
15. Melissa E.
“Melissa was great! She watched my older dog for a week and sent daily photos and videos of their walks. She handled my dog’s daily meds perfectly. I recommend her highly.”
16. Amanda R.
“Enzo and Penny had a great time at Amanda’s! She was great at providing updates. She is a dog whisperer as evidenced by how calm the dogs were when they came home from their stay.”
17. Krissy W.
“Poppy had a great weekend with Krissy and Erick. We received lots of photos and it was clearly Poppy had a blast playing with the other dogs her size. We felt at ease leaving her, and we will absolutely be booking with them again next time we need someone to look after Poppy.”
18. Heather E.
“Heather is AMAZING!!! I hadn't boarded my 9-year old Pomeranian Coco for years, but was looking for someone to board him for a few days in San Luis Obispo as we were coming up from San Diego to be in SLO for my wedding. Unfortunately the wedding venue is a working ranch so could not allow dogs to stay on-site with us, they only allowed Coco to be there the day of for some photos. I went on Rover and searched for a local sitter who would take good care of Coco while we were running around doing wedding activities who also happened to be flexible enough to bring him to the venue for photos on the day of. I interviewed several sitters and Heather stood out - so easy to communicate with, super transparent about her schedule, clearly had taken care of dogs and loves dogs. I was nervous about boarding Coco in a new environment after not doing so for so long, but she put my worries at ease. During Coco's stay, Heather sent photos and updates of her with Coco walking around town and even checking out a restaurant together. It was so cute and sweet! The day of the wedding was hectic, but Heather was so kind and patient coordinating with my wedding planner as to when to drop off Coco for photos at the venue. If you are looking for a great dog sitter or walker in the SLO area, Heather is your person!! I am so incredibly grateful for her, without her our weekend would not have gone so smoothly. Thank you so much Heather!”
19. Anna S.
“Anna did a great job watching my dog at her place over the weekend. I received pictures and overall communication throughout my pet’s stay was good”
20. Audrey W.
“Audrey would be an incredible rover… I’ve known Audrey for 15+ years and she’s always been one the most responsible, caring, communicative people I know. I’ve also witnessed her be a great parent to her own dog, making sure he is always happy and healthy. She has also watched my own dog, who has severe separation anxiety but feels comfortable around Audrey. Any pet parent would be lucky to have Audrey take care of them.”
