“Jessica has two basset hounds that she rescued and treats them as her own family. She makes them their own homemade food and treats, and walks them at the beach everyday on long walks. If anyone could recommend a great dog walker/sitter it would be Jessica. If you live in the Stamford Fairfield area she is a local and known by many as a caring individual who cares a lot about animals. ”

“First time Rover user here. My wife and I were hesitant about using the service, since we have always had pet sitters recommended by friends/family. I couldn't be more happy with taking the leap here. Sarah is one of the most caring and knowledgable people when it comes to pets, that we have ever met. From her suggestion to waiting until a few days before we left to meet (to ensure Billy, our cat, would remember her), to food recommendations; Sarah made us feel confident that we were leaving him in caring hand. We were away for a week, international. Every day we would receive a text and report on Billy and his progress with getting to know and hang out with Sarah. Mind you, it is cat, so they can be a bit shy. This was not the case with Sarah. Billy warmed up to her very quickly, and the daily pictures helped confirm that he was not missing us too much. :) A short review cannot do Sarah justice. She is an absolute blessing when it comes to caring for pets. Her compassion and knowledge is amazing. We wish we had more thumbs up to give, so we will be giving 4 thumbs and 2 paws UP!”

About: I’m a recent graduate with extra free time, so I'm trying to fill it with something I enjoy. I've always loved being around dogs, I started volunteering at the local animal rescue at the beginning of the pandemic, walking and playing with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I hope to be able to bring joy into not just my life but also the life of your furbaby as well. I work full time Monday through Friday, however I’m naturally an early riser and I finish my working days around 3! If a lengthy weekend stay is needed, I'm your gal! I also work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. I live in a very residential area with my parents, we have a non fenced in front and back yard, however I’m a five minute drive away from two parks and one dog park.

They're both very high-maintenance; require constant attention, frequent feedings, and, due to a medical condition, one of them is in need of medicine three times a day. I was worried about leaving them with a sitter, but R. did a fantastic job at making sure they were cared for and tended to. When I got home, my dogs were happy and healthy, and I couldn't be more grateful.”

She is a pet owner herself and spoils them rotten. Over this past year, my professional career has taken off requiring longer hours in the office sometime and I am thankful I came across Raysa. Her energetic personality is just what I needed for my two dogs during the day to get their energy out. Otherwise, the would be stuck in their cages for hours. What I like about Raysa is she really adjusts to the needs of the dogs. One of my dogs is 12 and really just likes to head outside to enjoy the weather and continue with her business while my other dog is 4 and wants to play & run around. She makes the most out of the time that she is there to make sure they use the bathroom but fulfill their personal needs. She has been walking my dogs for the past year, and I can see how she interacts with them. On the occasions I have been around and witnessed her with them, they both get very excited to see her.
