About: I have years of experience housing foster dogs and have sat both dogs and cats for years. I currently have a lot of availability and am used to dealing varieties of dogs from volunteering to walk dogs at shelters. I'm currently not working and can freely adjust my schedule and have a lot of availability. Please give me 24 hours to ensure I can make any schedule changes. I'm experienced in trying to understand dog's unique personality and behaviors, having dealt with both small and large breeds. I also work with owners to ensure all pet needs are met and that both the owner and the pet are happy and satisfied!

About: I have taken care of all types of animals since I was a little girl. My friends and family have taught me a lot about being a good caretaker , and having a very antsy and athletic black lab has given me a lot of experience. I work part time so I have plenty of time to walk and care for animals, spend time with the dogs outside and giving them all the attention they need. I think every dog is different, while some dogs can sit outside with no out lying fear of running away, while others need leashes and fences so I will be accommodating for each dogs needs

“I live in a rural area where we no longer have one-day-a-week veterinarian services. The nearest vet and doggie day care are about 45 minutes away. I'm retired with substantially impaired mobility and a 12 year old super-sized GSD, Cairo, who now also has impaired mobility from a spinal issue and age. The past few years have been shrouded in smoke during what would normally be prime 'Go Out and Play' days. This GSD was not getting what he needed. Then I met Kerstie. Kerstie knows dogs; the breeds, temperament, ability; large and small. She has a sincere interest in Cairo's wellbeing and safety. So I am secure in knowing that my Big Man, Cairo, is going to have the best fun out on walks in the forest with Kerstie, like he and I used to have. I miss those. I hope Kerstie doesn't leave the area.”

About: I have spent 11 year raising and training my own dogs. We go hiking up skinners butte or walk alluring the riverside walkway. My apartment has enough room to let the dogs play. There is a designated play area with toys. I am more than happy to petsit at your home as well. I am able to help train your pets. I have my own dog who is very weird but lovable. He loves everyone he meets. I have no breed restrictions I love all dogs even the ankle biters. I can do day boarding some days. I don’t have a yard but I live close to a dog park. I always take thirty minutes to one hour walks so that your dog can get the exercise they need.

About: Welcome to my profile! I’m a wildlife biologist and all around animal lover. As I can’t currently have pets of my own, I love every opportunity I can get to care for yours. I grew up with two cats, five dogs, and a house full of birds and plants. I’ve been caring for animals since I could walk and regularly do to this day. I will work to fill your animals extra needs whether that be mental stimulation, cuddles on the couch, or some physical activity. About: Our house is home to a dog loving couple. We grew up with family pets that needed outdoor adventures and have been hosts to pups large and small, puppies and much older puppies. We enjoy our neighborhood because of the access to dog friendly trails that offer great exercise for those with boundless energy. About: Hello! My name is Emma, I’m studying accounting at UO and I love caring for dogs. I have been around dogs my whole life, big and small. I love to hike and walk, I have patience with dogs that are less advanced in discipline and socialization. I genuinely enjoy walking and caring for dogs, it is not just a side hustle! I work part time, but my hours are flexible, and I am often working from home. I am almost always home in the mornings, and I am very flexible on weekends. I have classes 3 days a week but they are not back to back, I come home multiple times a day. when walking a dog, I am very careful to choose a safe area. I also try to find somewhere with greenery and lots of stimulation for the dog to sniff. I’ll try to make it an enjoyable, adventurous walk. If a dog is in my home, I keep attention on them, consistently, looking for cues for their needs or desires.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kind since I was 8. My friends and family relied on me to watch, feed, walk and bathe. I work in the evenings, having Monday and Sunday off but my roommates and I have different Schedule so someone’s always home with the animals. I take my dogs to the dog park 3 times a day and walk them every 2-4 hours. I offer feeding bathing, walks or anything special.

About: I've worked with lots of rescues, some show dogs, have visited more than 60 shelters and attended 10 + animal welfare conferences (Best Friends, US Humane Society, International Anthrozoology Conference, etc), certified in Pet First Aid, dog walking and training courses, and keep up with positive communication skills, productive play, cognitive games, and provide a calm, peaceful energy to encourage the dogs and/or cats to feel safe, secure, and happy. We had three rescue dogs for 13, 14, and 17 years, and currently have three; ages 8, 9, and 10. They are all very healthy, happy, and have helped me care for a 6 week old puppy. In addition to dog walks, and a large fenced-in back yard to frolic in, I also frequently take our dogs to the dog park. That would beca personal choice by each animal's family. Our dogs vaccines are all up to date and they love other dogs.
