We hadn’t left them with a dog sitter as a group before (haven’t done a lot of traveling in the 1.5 years since we got our now-2 year olds) but Gabby was confident and when she visited to meet the pack they warmed up to her right away. We were very lucky to find her and that she had availability because not everyone is comfortable with giving dogs medications or dogs with anxious behavioral challenges. Her updates were fun to get and I would love to have her dog sit for us again! Thanks!!”

“Vina is amazing! She is the only person I will ever hire to watch Bear! She's the first person I've worked with through Rover and I'm so grateful she will be the only one I work with! We set up a time to meet Bear prior to the week long stay. She was very patient with Bear as he cautious around anyone new. She went on a walk with us so Bear would know it's okay for Vina to take him on walks. We hired Vina to come walk Bear twice while we weren't home prior to vacation to see how he would do with her. She was so patient and kind!! During the vacation, we received pictures, videos, and updates multiple times a day which definitely put our minds at ease. I could go on forever about how amazing she is!! To put it simply, Vina is the perfect person to watch your dog. She treats them as her own!!”

“Ryan was fabulous with our two dogs - he watched our 7 mo puppy and 5 year old anxious pup for a week at our house. They didn’t seem to mind in the least that we were gone. “I’ve been a rover sitter for years now and Margaret is the only person I want to trust with my dogs. She is one of those humans who loves animals more than people. She will sit and talk to your pets. She’s reliable. In the decades of life that I’ve known her, I’ve yet to see one animal not take to her. You literally can’t go wrong. When you go out of town, you want your animals to be happy and it’s a guarantee they will be happy with Margaret and also, a guarantee that Margaret with be happy with them.”

“We have a householdof pets, which includes 2 big labs and 2 cats. They are a demanding bunch, especially at meal tmes early morning 6:30 AM an 5:00 PM sharp for dinner. When we need to get away for a weekend or extende period of time we have counted on Sally to take care our Pets. She gives them lots of attention, including trips to the dog park for the 2 labs. I would recomend Sally for pet sitting duties, she is dependable and we know our pets are in good hands when she is taking care of them.”

“Leah was awesome - took wonderful care of our kitty and our home while we were away for five days over Christmas. Kept in touch by sending us updates and photos so we knew everything was fine. Kitty had just had dental surgery, was on a special diet and can be anxious and lonely without her humans around. She's also shy around people she doesn't know. But she really took to Leah and they got along great. I'm definitely going to have Leah back the next time we are out of town and would highly recommend her for cat sitting.”

Elizabeth is a remarkably loving, tender, and playful person. Her best traits—a curiosity about and truly vibrant enjoyment of life, selflessness for those she adores, and a celebration of fun—are perhaps most visible when she interacts with animals. My family has a 9 year-old French Briard named Roland. He is wonderful, although old, sensitive, and neurotically anxious. He is skittish and often averse to strangers. Yet, during the brief couple of days that Elizabeth and I took care of him, he immediately warmed up to her. His reaction to her was far from surprising. Elizabeth was undyingly kind to him, bathed him with attention, and made it a priority to healthily exercise and play with him. If Elizabeth can earn the trust of Roland, I have no doubt that she can win the heart of any other pet. I strongly recommend Elizabeth as a pet sitter.”
