“Lacey is great! We have always been nervous about leaving our senior Yorkie and we decided to try leaving him at home with drop in care, as opposed to leaving him at a kennel. Every time we left him at a kennel he came home hoarse from barking, dirty, and sick. This time was TOTALLY different. He did great and we are just so pleased. You just can’t go wrong by having Lacey take care of your baby.”

Probably over 50 flights...most states...several countries. We have never been able to leave her alone! We had a quick business trip come up that we couldn't take her on and got in touch with Maddie! We could not be happier! Maddie is just a gem and a sweetheart. She was patient with our fickle and nervous "princess" who couldn't figure out where we went. She went far and above what I would have expected. She kept us posted several times a day with visit and updates and lots of photos. “Landon cared for our two cats for 4 days, visiting twice per day. Landon was on time, thorough, and careful with handling them. Even though one of our cats that takes meds was being (unusually) stubborn come pill time, Landon stuck it out and maintained patience until the job was done. He eventually figured out a working solution/routine to address the issue, which was a weight off of our shoulders while we were gone. He was responsive any time I reached out to check in or request additional things, and did not hesitate to reach out for important matters. Landon also ensured the cats had toys and treats during his visits & let them outside in the approved backyard area, which helped to make them feel comforted while we were away. About: I worked full time for the City of Waco Animal Services for eight years and have my Vet Asst. degree. I have 20+ years of experience with animals and will treat your fur babies like my own. I currently have 5 dogs of my own, all from the local Shelter! I encourage enrichment and basic training. I can seek a behavior issue within an animal and help correct it. I encourage all pet owners to have their pets microchipped and current on rabies vaccination. I like to know which Vet the owners prefer prior to sitting any animal just in case of an emergency. Animals are a passion of mine and I like to help owners when in need! It would be my pleasure to care for your pets! I currently work FT (M-F, roughly 8-5). When I come home I like to spend my time with my dogs. I enjoy taking care of others’ pets as well! I, personally, feed my dogs twice a day. They still act like they’ve never been fed even though they are extremely healthy and even get snacks. I get up at 3am with my dogs daily since they insist on going potty at that time. I would care for your dogs as I care for mine. They are part of the family.

“Heather watched out great dane for a few days while we were out of town. It didn't bother her at all dealing with a larger pet. I could really tell she cared for him and wasn't just doing a pet babysitting job. He usually doesn't eat much when we are away but Heather had a couple of clever ideas and he was eating and drinking like a happy fella. He likes people and doesn't like being alone so Heather’s hour visit twice a day really helped those lonesome times. She would play with him and his toys, take him outside and cuddle with affection to makeup the fact we left him behind. We received reports and pictures twice a day as well as text messages when she had questions about his lack of appetite and her ideas to help. I am very appreciative and thankful for Heather’s hard caring work with our dog. We will confidently ask”

About: I have cared for pets of my own and others for over 10 years! I am comfortable with all types of animals and willing to administer medications, bathing, and specialty care based upon your needs. I am a stay at home mom and I have plenty of time to care for animals! I am able to drop in all hours of the day to fit your needs. I will do a meet and greet visit with your animals to learn all about them and their schedule. This will help me to ensure they are well taken care of prior to your departure!

About: We’ve had dogs at our house since I was a young kid. Love spending time with dogs and giving them attention and the love they need when their families are away. I am a teacher and would love to spend time with your dogs after school and in the evenings or early before school if need be. We don’t have dogs in our family, we have other family members that add to our family. Dogs will be treated as well as if you were there.

About: My husband and I live in Hewitt with our dogs, Walker and Bruiser. When we travel, we love the peace of mind that Rover provides and we want to provide that same peace of mind to you! We love animals and understand that they are part of the family just like any human. We have a nice-sized backyard and walking trails nearby, so your fur baby will spend lots of time outside. Walker and Bruiser are so friendly and get along with any dog they meet. Your pup will have the best playmates! I also LOVE cats and would be thrilled to care for your cat as well. That would have to be a drop-in service since I cannot board cats due to my husband's allergies. What to bring? Bed, food, and really anything that you think would help your dog feel comfortable. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have! My husband and I are seasoned pet parents with 11 years of pet care experience. We both work close to home and take turns going home for lunch breaks and to take out pups out. If your pup requires additional attention, my husband is self-employed and has a flexible schedule/the ability to work from home. We are home most weeknights. We are active on the weekends, but love to include the dogs as much as we can. I'm good at taking instructions and will care for your pup just like you would. Our dogs are spoiled with a big yard, multiple pet beds, and comfortable couches to lounge on. We also love to go on walks in our neighborhood and/or on the Baylor campus!
