“Ashley and her family were absolutely wonderful! My normally anxious dog was excited to return each day to see Ashley and spend the day with her. Ashley sent regular picture updates, communicated thoroughly, and was flexible with pick up/drop off hours. My dog loved having children and their cat to interact with, backyard time, and Ashley’s company on the couch while she worked from home. My dog came home in a great mood each day, no anxiety at all like with daycare facilities. We will absolutely book with Ashley again!!”
2. Danny P.
“Benji had a blast at Danny’s home. Thank you, Danny, for sending pictures of Benji playing with your doggo!! I’m sure Benji is looking forward to another fun play date.”

5. Kasey B.
“Kasey was an absolute blessing to us! Our daughter was admitted to Iowa City Hospital and we were traveling with our 2 fur babies. We had no idea how we would be able to visit her, but Kasey made it possible! Her location to the hospital is absolutely perfect! Her love of animals is extremely evident when you visit her lovely home! Knowing she will be able to care for our dogs for future hospital visits with our daughter gives us such peace of mind! You will not be disappointed if you choose Her!”
6. Daniel F.
“Dan has been a great friend of mine, but also a fantastic sitter for Peppy. He’s thorough on taking care of him during his stay and accommodate his needs. Dan is also a pet owner currently and does so well. He is very responsible and takes time to give pets attention and cares for them appropriately. They would be in amazing hands with him.”
7. Gina F.
About: I will love your fur babies like my own. I grew up on a farm, have my own pets, and my daughter is a dog groomer. They will be in good hands. If they are staying with me, Mon-Fri, I am able to walk them every 4-5 hours during the day, and every two hours in the evenings. On weekends, I’m available all day and night. I have two small, friendly dogs who I walk on leash several times a day. My dogs (& two cats) LOVE all the pets we’ve had visit our home…well the cats just watch us disapprovingly, but the dogs love them anyway! 😂
8. Auden B.
“Auden was so great!!! She communicated multiple times a day and was very accommodating when I messed up my booking. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!!!!!”
9. Trish C.
“I'm in the unique position of dreading leaving my pup (Enzo) but also traveling for work quite a bit.. Timberwolf Doggy Camp is the only place I'll ever take Enzo if I have to travel. Not only are his needs met, but far exceeded, he gets daily walks (pending weather of course!), gets free roam in the back yard or in the house, gets plenty of time playing ball, and even gets brushed! To be honest, I'm not sure who is more upset, me when I have to leave Enzo, or Trish when I'm back to pick him up!”
10. Ariel & Patrick J.
“Ariel was excellent with our miniature poodle and we will definitely be using her again. She sent us frequent updates and photos of our dog.”
11. Abigail Y.
“Abby is great with my pets! My senior dog, Diesel, has a tendency to cry and howl while I'm gone, but she treats it as if it's music to her ears. My cat Frankie can be a little menace sometimes trying to open cupboards, etc. However, Abby finds this as a great time to play with him.”
12. Travis V.
“Wow. Travis was great! I was just in town from Chicago to see a play and reached out with maybe 30 minutes notice. I immediately felt comfortable with how calm and good natured he was with Kensley. This was her first rover experience! And mine. And was so happy with Travis who also sent cute pictures of Kensley hanging out with his dog and one other who is a regular visitor in his home. Highly recommend!!! If I’m ever back in iowa city/coralville and Kensley needs a sitter, Travis will be my first choice.”
13. Marissa M.
“I have known Marissa for 24 years. We have grown up together, and during that time, her family has always had dogs. As soon as she was out on her own, one of the first things she did was adopt her dog Theo, despite being busy with medical school, travel, and a relationship. Wherever Marissa and her husband go, Theo, who is undoubtedly a member of the family, gets to tag along. Marissa’s pursuit of walking dogs for Rover is a natural extension of her knack for ensuring dogs have the highest quality of life. Entrusting one’s beloved dog to someone else is not an easy decision; however, Marissa is by nature a very trustworthy person. As mentioned earlier, I have known her almost her whole life. We have remained close partly because I know I can count on her for anything, even something as important as keeping my dogs happy and healthy in my absence. Marissa is my first choice for dog care when we go on extended vacations. Her consistent walking routines, regular treats, and ability to look after my dogs like they are her own make me feel at ease while I’m away. Marissa has always amazed me with her ability to balance multiple priorities without allowing a single one to slip. For example, she somehow planned a wedding and honeymoon during COVID while in medical school with an impending move across the country and still prioritized training and walking Theo on a regular basis. As someone whose own dogs drag me along on every walk, I am very impressed that Theo received the loose leash training that he did while his owner was so busy! Simply put, Marissa is a dog person. Anyone who visits her home leaves knowing without a doubt that Theo is a part of the family. On the day of her wedding, Marissa ensured that someone had access to her apartment so that Theo could still get his daily walk despite his owners having a monumental event to get to! Later that day, Theo shared the spotlight by starring in the wedding photos alongside his parents. Marissa was thinking about him, even on her big day. Now, Theo enjoys traveling with Marissa whenever possible so that he is always with his people. He even influenced the house hunting process when they moved. Marissa found a home with a dog door and an enclosed backyard so that her fur baby could let himself out throughout the day while she was at work. Rest assured, if your dogs are walking with Marissa, they are in the company of a true dog person! Marissa takes care of others’ dogs as if they are her own. I once asked Marissa at the very last minute if I could bring my dog to her apartment since I was visiting out of town. Not only did she say yes, but she had a dog bed and toys set aside for him when we arrived! She even planned our Saturday activities so that we could bring our dogs to a brewery to play and exercise. When I stay at Marissa’s home, my dogs are guests of hers just as much as I am. In short, Marissa will become an important part of your dogs' wellbeing by ensuring their safety and exercise while you are busy. She’ll walk them until they are happy, tired dogs while caring for them as if they are her own.”
14. Jeanette R.
“We needed someone to watch our two dachshunds, Dexter and Harry. We found Jeanette and found her to be a blessing. She took excellent care of our two boys and we were very sad when she moved away from our area. A million 👍 to her caring and love she gives.”
15. Sidney R.
“She was so attentive and sweet to my pup. She sent me regular updates and pictures which was really reassuring to me that he was doing well. Absolutely recommend!”

17. Marina G.
“Marina is a loving, caring and affectionate person. She loves animals and is a responsible pet owner herself. She is very hands on with her dog Peanut and as a result he is very well behaved. I know she would be a great person to care for pets when their "parents" are gone. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to leave my pets with someone else. I would entrust Marina with my babies without any hesitation. Marina is also very active and likes to be outside so taking the dogs or cats for walks would be enjoyable for all. I would highly recommend Marina as a pet sitter!”
18. Samantha W.
“Samantha is a great choice to take care of your pets. She has helped take care of my dog and other pets for years. She truly cares about every animal, so she'll take great care of your dog! She's good at following instructions and making sure the dog has fun. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!”
19. Anna R.
“Anna watched my 1.5 year old chihuahua while I was out of town for a few days. My dog is not too well socialized, but Anna made her feel comfortable and safe. She sent me photos of them hanging out, cared for her exactly how I asked, and came to me immediately with any questions she had. I would highly recommend Anna for petsitting! She is considerate, professional, and always puts the pet first!! My dog loves Anna, and I would have Anna look after her again in a heartbeat.”
