About: About Me: Hello, thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! My name is Sarah. I have been doing paid pet sitting for over 5 years now. Some of my hobbies outside of this is reading, cooking, and writing. I have also donated and volunteered at an animal shelter, and done pet fostering before. I’m capable of acting responsibly in panic and emergency situations, and I have great patience when it comes to animals. My Experience: I do have prior experience watching over other pets like bunnies, hamsters, and birds. I also have years of experience looking after newborn, pregnant, senior, and disabled pets. My Services: I walk dogs of all sizes, shapes, and breeds. I house sit and do drop-ins for both cats and dogs. I do care for pets in heat, and pets that are not neutered or spayed. Schedule: I work as a nanny Thursday nights usually from 5pm-9pm. Occasionally, Saturdays and Mondays. My schedule will be updated everyday. I can be pretty flexible, and can often work within your scheduling needs. So do not hesitate to reach out. I want to assist you as best as I can. About House Sitting: When it comes to house sitting, I am confident that I can reach your home on time, and can stay for your suited amount of time. Whether that be long-term or a short weekend break. Also, I understand some pets are sensitive to change and can miss their owners. I will recognize their needs and respond accordingly. I will be patient and calm with them, and I will maintain their schedule as much as possible. Care Info: A few of my responsibilities, some instructed by the clients/owners of course, would be to ensure comfort and safety for your pet. Clean litter boxes or cages, and change litter if needed. I’ll provide food and water of course, inform about strange behavior or illness to the pets’ owners, provide medication to the pets as directed by the owner, take pets to veterinarians or treatments per the owners request of course. I’ll also clean up after the pets. I’ll groom pets as well, which include bathing them, cleaning out their ears, brushing their teeth and coats, and trimming their nails. I’ll provide regular updates to pet owners, which include communicating with them telephonically as well as sending video clips and photos. Provide basic animal first aid. Ensure pets are given play time. Observe indoor and outdoor play to ensure the safety of your pet. Meet with clients beforehand if they would prefer to do so. Provide additional customer service as requested by clients, which may include picking up mail, watering plants, opening and closing blinds or curtains. If you have a timid pet, I won’t force them to interact with me if they’re not comfortable, yet. But if they’re any tasks I need to do provided by the owner, I will get that done.
