“We contacted Karen about watching our dogs we while we went whale watching. She was very easy to work with and very accommodating. She had our dog from 1 pm until 8 pm. We met at a halfway point for drop off and she returned the dog to us at the port in downtown Bar Harbor. She could not have been more accommodating aa our boat was a little bit late getting back into port. She is very nice and seems to genuinely care about the animals she watches. She sent me pictures throughout the day and text message updates. I would definitely recommend Karen and I would use her again. You do not need to have any worries about leaving your pet in her care. About: I’ve had almost every kind of pet since I was little and have worked on farms and taken care of pets my whole life. I’m familiar with senior pets, puppies, and animals with special care needs. I’ve taken care of possums,raccoons, goats, cows, you name it! I work from home with a loose schedule so your pet will be my first priority! I have many days off throughout the week as well. I have a cozy first floor apartment right in town with plenty of comfy carpet to snooze on and space for crates if needed. I’m always outside and right near a large dog friendly park and a 5 minute walk to acadia national park!

“Leslie was amazing. She agreed to come meet our dogs prior to their stay, and made sure she had all of the details for taking care of them right. She sent lots of pictures and updates while we were away, and was patient and helpful through a technical hiccup with the booking. My dogs came back to me happy and relaxed. I would definitely have the dogs stay with her again if the need arises.”

About: I am pet owner since 9 years old (dogs, cats, hamsters and birds) . Also I am a veterinarian (graduated in 2019) because of that I have the training not only to take care of healthy pets but to be able to help some pets with special needs (medication or vitals control) I worked for Umaine. Some days at home, someday at the office. That gives me the opportunity to manage my schedule and be ready to help I am used to live with animals so I’m good at keeping the cat littler or the cages clean all the time . Also I have train in first aid.
