About: Hi pet parents, I'm Dianne! I have grown up with dogs and cats almost all my life and currently have two beautiful pups - one of which is a rescue pup. My entire family loves animals and are all involved in raising, training and caring for them. We have a playful and cozy energy in our home that ensures your four legged friends feel comfortable and welcome. Your pet will be treated as another member of the family - loved, cared for and safe. I understand that consistency is key in maintaining your dogs' daily routines and providing them with the attention and love they require. During their stay with me, your pup will receive enriching activities and plenty of exercise and play in our large (fenced) backyard as well as daily walks. Pupdate pics and clear communication with you throughout your dogs' stay will provide you with peace of mind the entire duration. A "meet and greet" for a new guest is highly recommended but not required. This short visit allows for us and your pet to get acquainted and to provide an opportunity to discuss any specific needs prior to your first reservation. I want to make your pet's stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. I’m a stay at home mom and my husband works remotely from home - so we all have plenty of time to play with your pups and keep them company. I am always very attentive when watching someone’s pup! I know each animal is unique and I look forward to getting to know you and your pet. I have a large fenced backyard facing a beautiful ravine and two friendly fur babies at home to keep your pet company. There are several hiking trails and a park just minutes away from home.

“Mel is is amazing with animals. Before she moved in with me she was was the primary carer for both the family cat and dog. She made sure they were fed, took medicine when applicable, and always made sure to walk Linette, their cocker spaniel. She moved in with me and my cat, Luci, immediately accepted her as family. We then adopted a kitten, Lily, who bonded with her. My mom and stepfather also have a cat and dog and the dog is absolutely obsessed with her; whenever we visit he is stuck to her like glue. Whenever my mom and stepfather go out on a trip, whether it's just a weekend or for something longer, they always ask us to come check in on their cat and dog. Us generally means Mel since I work full time. You would be hard pressed to find someone who loves animals more.”

We have older children, 9 & 12. A medium sized female dog, Sandy, who loves to play. She is fixed & very gentle. We have 2 cats that couldn't care less about dogs. We absolutely love dogs & will treat yours like it were our own. I am currently working part time flexible hours. I love to walk. We live in a fantastic neighbourhood. And I love to watch our dog play with other dogs in our backyard. I have a large fenced in yard, 2 physically active kids who want to do most of work while supervised by me, a female dog aching for a friend & nothing but time on my hands! Brownie points if your dog likes to cuddle!
