“Sheri and her husband did a wonderful job with my Omar. They kept him well walked and tired by the end of each day. He usually doesn't eat while away from me, but with them he ate well. Having them home all day was an added bonus, he is very much a people loving dog and wants to be near someone at all times. They sent a daily picture, as well as a short description of his day. I will not hesitate to take him back for another stay if need be.”

“Kona really had a great time on Kayla's 5 acre property! He played with Kayla's other dogs. Kayla was also very flexible with the pickup time. She was also providing updates regularly which was great to see! We wi) definitelt be b9oking her again for our future trips.”

They loved her large grassy fenced in back yard. She and her husband let them sleep on their bed with them, a custom they enjoy at home. He doggie and cat were great company for my babys.”

“Makinzie really took extremely good care of our dog. We have a doodle, so she has actual hair, not a shedding coat. Previous boarders have let her hair get so matted that it needs to be shaved off. Makinzie brushed her out, and kept her really nice looking when we got her back. Every photo Makinzie sent was of my dog in the house, playing with her kids and other pups. I am confident that my dog was not kenneled or left outside for overly long periods. Our dog came back remembering her manners and was clearly taken care of. Our pup even got sick while at Makinzie's (it was clearly not Makinzie's fault), and she took so much care with her. I'm hoping to use Makinzie again, and the experience was night and day from some other boarders we have tried.”

Sofia sent adorable pictures of Sophie during her stay and when I picked her I could tell she’d had a good time and been in great hands. I will definitely use Sofia and Patricia again to watch Sophie and I would recommend her to others in the DogVacay Community!”

“My pup had such a great time with Barbara, he was pretty sad when we left! We have left our furry one with Barbara once before and he was tired for a couple of days afterward, which is a great sign our boy had fun. Barbara sent me pictures almost daily and it is obvious she sincerely cares about dogs. I highly recommend Barbara's services!”

“Brendan is always my go to dog sitter when I’m gone for the night or an out of state trip. I have 1 puppy who is easy going but quite a jumper. And a 2 year old who is very reactive but that did not cause any issues with Brendan. Both of the boys get super excited when he comes to watch them and it’s always stress free knowing I can go out and won’t come back to an accident or something chewed up. Highly recommend him!”

“Oh, my gosh! Terese is so great! I'm so glad to have met her and so thankful my Lab was in her care. I mentioned to her that our dog's best buddy went to doggy heaven this last year and that she might be apprehensive without her pal there. When I picked her up, Terese told me that she and all the doggies hung out by my dog's pillow for a while on the first night, to set her at ease. When Terese noticed my dog is a big fan of the kitchen, she whipped up some homemade dog cookies (and even sent some home with the recipe)! Terese's outdoor space is fantastic with a nice sized fenced yard and a large fenced field. Clearly from the pictures, my dog was having a blast. We traveled up from Renton on our way to the San Juans. I wish Terese lived closer to us! But then I'd have to look for excuses just to come by with a couple of coffee's, see if I could hangout, and watch doggies have fun all day!”

“Megan has watched my dog Nala a handful of times now and I cannot recommend her enough. Nala gets so excited to go back and hang out with Megan and her great family. Nala is a handful and Megan is very patient and caring with her. She sends great photos and goes above and beyond by taking Nala on hikes, walks, and to the dog parks.”

About: I grew up with dogs, and was responsible for feeding, walking, and training them since they were puppies. Since then I have owned a multitude of animals, including more dogs, a cat or two, and reptiles. I have volunteered in animal care settings since I was a teenager, and am comfortable with dogs, cats, and pets of any age and/or breed. Friends and family members have had me housesit for them and take care of their pets, and it's given me a lot of experience over the years. My family also has a rescued Maltese/terrier mix, Dixie, who's been part of our family for the past few years! I'm a stay at home mom, so I have a flexible time-frame to take care of your fur-babies. I take care of our family dog and go on daily walks and/or do enrichment activities with her. I always make sure that pets in my home have space, a clean and comfortable environment, and plenty of rest or exercise (depending on their needs). I can provide whatever works best for you and your pet/pets!
