I will run and play ball with your dog and am not afraid to get slobbery! I have a great sense and understanding of animal behavior. Also due to my job and college degree in psychology I am experienced and knowledgeable in ABA training. “Top of the charts, look no farther, this is your guy for any service he provides. We will 100% work with Alan again and will recommend him to our family/friends that could use his services. Alan is super professional, always on-time and did right by our dog. Alan walked our dog 2-3 times a week over a period of a few months. Over the months that passed, he was always flexible if needed on my end, was quick to respond to messages and is just a good person. Our dog can overheat pretty easy and one day while waiting for our boy to get back I saw Alan carrying him in his arms up the street. He didnt have to do what he did, but he forever indebted himself to us due to that act of profound kindness. Thank you my friend for helping take care of our boy, all the best to you!!”

About: Hello all! I'm Julia, your fellow friendly Middleburg resident. I am located on a 3 acre property, the perfect place for your pet to get a vacation while you’re on vacation! I've always had a passion for taking care of animals and grew up with German Shepherds. This is the first time in my life I haven’t had a pet and I travel too frequently to be able to get one right now, so I REALLY miss being around dogs & cats. I’ve always been told I’m an animal whisperer and even the most skittish, shy animals seem to feel comfortable around me. If you are interested in booking with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out!🐾🐶😻 I am currently working full-time doing Sales & Marketing, but I do work from home so my schedule is very flexible! As long as I am not traveling, I am available on holidays as well. I am very informed when it comes to dog training as we always had to have our German Shepherds trained. I am comfortable walking dogs in the area, taking them to nearby dog parks, giving treats, and of course lots of pets!!☺️

About: I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up my family has always had a least 2 pets, even having 15 at one point. My love for animals has run deep in me since I was a child, which is why I am currently a pre veterinary student at the College of William and Mary. I have experience training puppies including potty training, assisting senior pets, and providing a full and fun life for all animals. I have previously worked at multiple equestrian training facilities and farms, so I understand how to handle larger animals. I am versed in problem solving and strive to make all pets feel safe and happy. I am currently home from college for the summer, so I will have plenty of time to care for your wonderful pets. This will be the main job I am working this summer, so there are few scheduling conflicts. I understand every pet and home is different so I try to cater the care to each client, however there are a few things that will always stay the same. First I always ensure I understand the pets feeding and bathroom schedule. This is vital to ensure the happiness and health of all pets. Second I try to make your pet as comfortable with me as possible. Sometimes new people can be scary, so I would allow your pet to make the first move and establish their level of comfort. I find this creates a level of trust and care between me and your pet. Third I follow any specific instructions given by you, the owner. The families always know their pets best, so following their directions helps ensure your pets safety and comfort.

About: I grew up on a farm in Purcellville and had over 6+ dogs, 4 cats and many farm animals. I love animals and I have a family dog of my own named Ziggy Marley. Pet care is something I feel very passionate about and something I’m fortunate to be able to experience! My schedule is always very flexible because I’m an online student studying Environmental Biology and sustainability! I do not have a fenced in yard but I live next to a large open field! I have a friendly trained animal willing to play with your animals! I also have a crate and many treats! Please let me know if your animal has a special diet or any allergies.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I got my first puppy (mini teacup chihuahua, Princess) when I was 4. I currently have 3 pit bulls: Prince (PTSD SA), Sassy (ESA), and Sarge. I personally trained my dogs to respond to commands in English, ASL, German, and snap-gestures. My dogs have been with me since they were puppies, and I have experience caring for my grandfather’s late senior pit/wolf mix, Cheno. I currently attend Cedar Creat College full time as a Psychology major and tutor elementary/middle schoolers part time. I am also on the Track & Field team (practices 5-7pm on T/W/TH). My free time is spent caring for family pets: two Great Danes (Elle and Solo), cat (Marceline), blue-tongued skink (Mo), and two lizards (Wall-E and Diamond). My dogs often free roam the house when we are not home. They have their own room in the basement and a large doghouse with heating in our fenced yard. Their indoor and outdoor water bowls are always full, and they get fed in the morning and night. They’re walked 3-4x per day (morning, evening/afternoon, night).

About: Hi I’am Tammy. I’ve been in the veterinary medical field for 15 years and am a Licensed Vet Tech. I’ve had tons of experience both with happy healthy young pets as well as seniors or special needs animals. I’ve spent most of my years in general medicine but have also worked several years in speciality including surgery, internal medicine, oncology and some ER. I am a fish tank keeper and a plant lady so let me know if that’s something you might need in your home. 🐠🪴 👩🏼 I also have a virtual assistant on my team who is also a Licensed Vet Tech. Her name is Jessica and she can help answer questions and get you all set up. 😊 I work part time in a specialty animal hospital a few days a week and mainly walk dogs the rest of the week. So you could say pet care is my entire life. Drop in visits: I try to stick to your pets routine as much as possible. They get their food and meds as instructed and extra time is left for walks and play time. Kitties get play time as well or if they prefer tv or just a quiet body in the house to sit and read to them that is also an options. I try to listen/pay attention to what your pet wants to do. Pet sitting in your home: I’m a fairly quiet pet sitter but love long walks outside and lots of backyard playtime. Your pets routine is the most important thing to me and I do my best to adjust accordingly with my work schedule.

“Karen brings her son and the two of them take my pup out every day. She obviously has fun and they are really good to her. I highly recommend her.”

Natalia K.
“Natalia is an awesome pet sitter. We’ve had her sit for our 12 year old dog and for our puppy. Very different personalities and needs and she was great with both. One thing that I really appreciate about Natalia when she dog sits for us is that if she needs to clarify a direction on where something is or what to do with the dog, she has no problem asking. While I know Natalia has everything under control, it’s always comforting to get updates from her and sometimes a picture! All in all, Natalia is a very personable and friendly pet sitter. I hope if you hire her you feel as at ease with her as I do and can enjoy your time away from your pets without a worry!”

Camille N.
“Finding someone trustworthy to take care of your pets while you’re away can be stressful, but with Camille, I know they are in good hands. She takes time to get to know the pups’ personalities and made sure they are well taken care of with plenty of exercise and attention. The peace of mind knowing that your dog is safe and happy is priceless. I Highly recommend Camille for anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

Amy A.Star Sitter

“Amy was communicative and timely. Branson had clearly had adequate exercise when I returned. Thank you!”

Ella J.

“Ella was great at communicating and sent pictures. It was her first time walking my dog and he seemed very happy when I got home. I would definitely recommend her.”

Hattie D.
“Hattie is compassionate and conscientious—those are two of the most important qualities needed to care for animals. I highly recommend her for all pet care services.”

Jacob D.
“Jacob has always had the biggest heart for pets, especially dogs. We are a dog family so, growing up, there was never a time that Jacob did not have dogs around to care for. He has a gentle touch with dogs that tend to make them trust and attach to him easily. Now, as a responsible young adult, his experience and friendly demeanor make him a great pick to care for your furry family members.”

Yaz K.

“Yaz does a great job with my two large energetic dogs! They love her and she does a great job communicating with me”

Rose W.
“Rose was excellent with our two dogs and cat! She went above and beyond with giving us updates and I really felt like I could trust her with them. I will not hesitate to recommend her to family and friends! One of our dogs takes a minute to warm up to people but they seemed to get along just fine, the meet & greet was definitely necessary.”

“Lexa took amazing care of my dogs! She was attentive, reliable, and treated them like her own. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in great hands.”

Tammy T.
“Tammy has watched my dog Kiwi on many occasions, and each time I can say with certainty that Kiwi was treated in a well cared for and loving manner. She has also looked after my fish, and is incredibly knowledgeable in proper fish care. Some of my fish include guppies, neon tetras, mollies, cherry shrimp, and an axolotl. Tammy has many years of experience with numerous animals ranging between fish, cats, dogs, and more. She has worked in an animal hospital for many years, and that has given me the reassurance I need when trusting someone with my pets. She adheres to detailed instructions, and is knowledgeable in various topics such as proper food portions based on dietary needs and size of pet, proper handling and exercise based on my dogs age, limitations, and/or allergies, and proper administration of medications. In addition to general care for Kiwi, I have been able to rely on Tammy with trimming Kiwi’s nails or other necessary maintenance when I am unable to book an appointment in time. I have been able to turn to Tammy for an educated opinion when I have concerns with Kiwi, such as unknown back pains, rashes, excessive sneezing, and itchy eyes. These are all traits I have never found in an average dog sitter, and I highly recommend Tammy so you will not have to stress about your pets care while you are away.”
