“Wonderful land for our boys to run on and have fun outside. They enjoyed playing with other dogs there and Emily took great care of them. There are so many places for dogs to explore and they have daily walks around the property. Highly recommend this sitter.”

“Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

“Terri was the epitome of perfect. She was just what my pet Blossom needed. Attention, affection, love, she filled all of those things, and then some. She took many pictures kept us up-to-date, and eased my anxiety!!! I would use her again and again and again, top-notch for sure!!!”

“It was perfect and I felt wonderfully at ease leaving my dog with Anna. Even at our meet and greet visit I knew Jack would love it. Anna has a large fenced in grassy yard infront of the house, 2 really sweet, playful, medium sized dogs of her own who my dog loved playing with (and he wasn't intimidated at all like he was when we tried the dog park), 2 sweet boys who he slept and cuddled with, and he even got daily walks in addition to play. Anna has a dog loving, active family and kept me informed with pictures and videos that he was doing well and adjusted quickly (and was embraced) like a member of the family. What more could I ask.”

“We had such a great experience with Joanne and she took such great care of our dog even with a very last minute booking. We are so glad we found her, highly recommend!”

“Another wonderful week at Samantha’s house! Momo has a great time and we truly appreciate feeling like he’s with family. They celebrated his 3rd birthday and sent me party photos :D I can rest easy when he’s with you guys and that means the world to me!!!!”

“Second time booking with Charlie, first time boarding. It was a smooth and stress-free experience. My dog seemed very happy playing with the other pups. You know your pup is always in good hands with Charlie.”

“Priscilla and her mom were awesome with my two corgis. They came home from their vacation with Priscilla happy and tired from playing. We will definitely use them again in the future.”

“As always, Duncan was very well cared for. I love that she sends frequent pictures and updates so I can see how happy he is while I am away. I look forward to Duncan’s next visit.”

“Rover had a great time with his new found friend Butcher. Tara was great at sending daily updates and being accommodating when our flight got delayed. She has a very big fenced backyard for the dogs to play. Rover will be back whenever we are out of town again. Thanks!”

“Payten was amazing. I will definitely be using her again. It was my baby's first time being with a sitter. He is very reserved and stubborn, but he really warmed up and trusted her. That right there shows me that she is a person to be trusted. She kept me updated regularly, even sending pictures. Thank you Payten!”

“My dog had a great time boarding with Satsuki! It was one of my longer trips so I was worried but all those worries went away quickly. Satsuki took great care of my dog and gave me regular updates including pictures - which I love! Would definitely rebook again”

“Sandra was amazing!! This was our first time leaving our girl with someone and we couldn’t have picked someone better. We received daily pictures, which was so fun to see what she was up to throughout the day (:”

About: Ive never known a time I didnt have dogs and cats. I have experience working with large breed working dogs as well as smaller dogs and everything in between. The only dogs that intimidate me are Rottweilers and chiuahahas! I love cats. I have extensive experience with fish and some birds too. I currently have 2 conures. I have a saltwater fish tank and a fresh water betta tank so I can easily care for your fish as well. I have a german shepherd pup myself and shes super friendly. I dont have to bring her around your pets. I let her outside about wvery two hours to play. We play ball and fetch. When the weather is good we go on long walks or hikes in the woods. I currently use a wireless gps fence for my dog. In your home I would certainly rely on a fence or a leash. I would not want to be responsible for an injury to your fur baby.
“Iesha is the best. I am so comfortable leaving my fur baby with her. She truly take care of him, as if he was her fur baby. She is accommodating and very caring. She send pics of your fur baby without asking. She is truly amazing🩷”

“Christina & Alex are the only dog sitters we have ever used…and we keep coming back. That’s because we feel safe leaving our Georgia at their home. We always feel bad & a bit nervous to leave her behind, but we feel so much better after we see the pics of her feeling comfortable in their home & we always get a quick response if we are ever wondering or worried about how she is doing during her visit. Georgia isn’t the easiest dog but they always gives her the individual love & attention she needs while we are away. Highly recommend & we will definitely be back! We appreciate you guys!!!”

“We couldn't have asked for more for our very active hound - he had the BEST time and even door to door service which was a huge bonus. thank you for i t such good care of him! he was smiling ear to ear in every photo ☺️”

This was our second booking with Emily and a long overdue feedback. For the first booking, Emily agreed to take care of Cash on short notice after two other sitters fell through. Emily is absolutely amazing, attentive, and kind. You.can tell she takes caring for her four legged pets seriously. Her communication is great and we loved getting all of the photos of him enjoying himself. Cash really enjoys his time there and is usually exhausted when he returns home.

Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
