About: I have mostly dog sat in the past, but love cats just as much! I have assisted some dogs with health conditions take their medicine. Will strictly follow your preferred pet care according to dogs' or cats' needs. I work M-F, 8-5 but have flexibility. Sometimes I travel or work remotely. If working remote, I can drop in as needed or take my work with me if an animal requires more attention. I have always loved animals growing up. I do not currently have in-home accomodations for pets. However, I would love to meet and love on your pets in their home, and can even assist you by keeping the home clean before your return! My motto is, I like to leave things better than I found them. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

About: I am so excited for the opportunity to care for your baby! I’ve had a dog, cat, or both since I was little, so I know what it means for fur babies to be family and to want them loved, safe, and well cared for when you’re away. I have taken care of pets, including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, sheep, cows, and horses for 25+ years. I have always had a pet of my own who I was responsible for since I was in first grade. I’ve had to provide medical care to a lame prior racing horse— cleaning, washing, and applying bandages and medicine to his foot while his owner was out of the country. I’ve also cared long-term for my elderly chihuahua, Bungee, who took medication for congestive heart failure and for my elderly cat, Jaq, with renal failure who had to be hand-fed for a few months before she passed. I currently have a large white dog, Caliber (Lab/Pyrenees mix), who was a rescue, a Pyrenees puppy who stays with and guards my chickens, a sweet, black collie-like rescue named Sirius, and outdoor cats and kittens which have been strays we have not turned away. Caliber and Sirius are in and out of the house dog and stay wherever they want— in our temperature controlled garage with a fence-less perimeter around our home due to the road and creek proximity, the living room, or the back deck overlooking the creek. Caliber has his own tempurpedic mattress and enjoys long days snuggling daddy’s feet in his office (my husband works remotely). The cats are used to animals of all kinds and know to keep distance on days I board a potentially cat-aggressive pup. I currently have a lot of flexibility as a mostly stay-at-home mom and I work PRN (as needed). Because I’m typically at am home with my children, I am very available to care for your babies well and give them all the love they need. I do enjoy trips with my family out of town and occasionally have busy seasons with local engagements, but I communicate well and will be very clear about my availabilities to make sure it work with your needs and that of your pet(s). As long as the pet isn’t aggressive, I am very comfortable caring for your baby for you in the comfort of your own home. I always enjoy meeting my new friends before their human(s) leave to make sure to give them time to get to know me and feel comfortable with my presence. It’s a joy to drop in and see how excited some pets get for a little company while their humans are gone. I enjoy walking, so I’m always up for a peppy (or slow) walk with your baby. My pup adores other dogs and loves having friends over, but can also be kept in the office or temperature controlled attached 2-car garage to provide ample space for your pet as we come outside if need be. I have space to crate your pup or cat if that works best for your needs as well. On my property I have a large, unfenced yard and can take your pet for wonderful walks in the grass and alongside the creek with me.

About: I began caring for pets in my town through Facebook when I was 13, and I have been responsible for numerous types of dogs and cats. Animals have a soft-spot in my heart, and getting to meet new pets has always brought me joy, so I figured I’d give this a shot! I have experience with all requirements of pet care (feeding, walking, some training, bathing, etc.) and would love to meet your pet!! I am completely available for most days. I am involved with theatre, so some nights I have rehearsals, but they don’t last long and can be missed if absolutely necessary. I have plenty of references for households that I’ve cared for in the past, and I have experience with both house and dog sitting. I’ve taken good care of homes (including household chores) and fur babies for as long as I’ve been doing this and don’t plan to stop any time soon!

About: I've grown up with pets of all shapes and sizes, currently I have 17 pets (14 cats and 3 dogs) one of which attends university with me! I also have 2 years of vet experience so I can administer medication, walk, give baths, and brush outs! I am currently a sophomore in college working a campus job. About: My name is Taylor, I am 31, married, and have a sweet 7 year old daughter. I have 2 dogs (a golden retriever, and english bulldog ) and 1 cat (16 year old tabby). I have been pet sitting for 15+ years. I have a Masters of Public Health in Veterinary Public Health, so I am trained and knowledgeable on your animal(s) needs. I can administer medication (oral or injection) and am first aid trained. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard across from Deibert Park. I love to take my golden on walks nightly in the neighborhood and am happy to do so for your pets as well! I am a non-smoker and have a clean driving record in case I would be requested to take your pet to the park, groomers, or veterinarian. I absolutely LOVE pups (and kitties!) and would be thrilled to help sit your sweet babies! I am a hybrid remote worker with 1-2x a week traveling to Nashville. My husband can sometimes step in for me on the days when I’m gone if people are comfortable with that. I can do drop ins anytime, and take your pets out when needed to fit their schedule. I have a very friendly golden retriever who loves to play with other pups, and an excited English bulldog puppy. With a fenced in backyard and safe neighborhood, your pet will have plenty of exercise and stimulation. I can easily section off areas of my house (sunroom, living room, kitchen) with baby gates if needed and can also ensure there is a calm environment if a pup feels better crated.

About: I have 3 beautiful children of ages 17, 4, & 3. I managed a local credit union before coming home to manage our household! I have had an animal in the house for over 20 years until recently, everything from a new born puppy to 13 year+ elderly dogs. Reach out to me for more info I am a homemaker, so my schedule is fairly open at all times. I am free from 8AM-1PM, then 4PM-8PM Monday-Friday. Weekends are open at all times. I have stayed overnight for multiple nights for some families that I have house/dog-watched for. I have let animals out for just a 30 minute outside/bathroom break. I always have my phone with me, and provide outstanding communication to the home/pet owners at all times.

About: I've taken care of my neighborhoods animals since I was younger. With the dogs, I would walk them, play ball with them in the back yard, to bathing them if they needed it to cuddling them if it was a storm night. Hi guy! I just graduated school, so how pet care fits into my dailey routine is that i’m available majority of the time even holidays! How I would keep your pets safe is when we are going on a walk I would make sure they were leased. And then if I was playing ball with them I would make sure the gates where closed. And then during the night if they stayed in a crate I would make sure I had one.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. Whether it be training and riding horses, feeding chickens, to raising puppies and kittens! My love for animals is my drive! I have experience with taking care of my past precious dog Mia, who had diabetes, and giving her insulin shots nightly. About: My love for animals began as early as I can remember. I have always had a deep reverence for all life around me. I'm currently a student at UNA studying environmental science and sustainability. I hope to one day have my own farm. I've had a wide variety of pets over the years; gerbils, Guinea pigs, a box turtle, and many of my friends growing up had dogs as well. My first true animal companion was our family dog, Logan, who was a rescued Golden Retriever/ German Shepard mix. He passed away at age 15 when I was 13 on Christmas morning (no joke- of all days..). My family took a long time to get another dog because we felt that no dog could ever top Logan. My parents did get another dog since, a rambunctious and loving beagle mix named Molly. I have also had an orange tabby cat named Señor Platáno of which whom I allowed to be indoor and outdoor while I went to school at Kent State University, but he was tragically hit by a car. To this day I still think of him more as a dog the way we were so close. I haven’t been in the right place financially to have a dog of my own but at my most recent job I was able to interact with dogs on a daily basis and it always made my day. I decided to sign up for Rover because I am currently unemployed and enrolled at UNA so I thought what better way to earn some side money than to become a dog walker/sitter. I look forward to meeting as many furry friends as I can and I will truly cherish every encounter I am fortunate enough to have. Thank you. I am currently unemployed so my schedule is practically wide open. I will be resuming my education at UNA in the Fall, but all of my classes will be online so my schedule shouldn't change much. I live in Florence and I like to stay local with my hobbies so I’m not usually ever far from the Shoals area. Dog and cat care will fit well with my schedule. About: Hi!! I have assisted family and friends with their fur babies since i was old enough to drive and it has always been my favorite thing to do!
