“Emily was outstanding! She completed several early morning drop-ins for our cats over the holiday period with no problem. We had somewhat specific instructions and Emily was able to complete everything with ease. Through the photos and updates Emily provided daily, it was evident our two cats were very comfortable with Emily and enjoyed her company. When the need arises for future drop-ins, we will definitely book with Emily again!!”

“Even though I booked last minute for a holiday weekend, Austin and Brittany were prompt, reliable, and not afraid to reach out if something was amiss. They did great with my two cats, even taking them outside on a leash to play in the grass and enjoy some sun. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.”

“Sarah did a phenomenal job checking on our cats. While we were on vacation our home experienced severe weather (totally unexpected) and lost power. Normally, I would have been an anxious mess. But, Sarah was great and her updates made me feel comfortable......so we enjoyed our family vacation! Thank you Sarah!”

About: I’m a marine scientist obsessed with animals! I’ve had all sorts of pets including lizards, fish, turtles, rabbits, cats, dogs, rats, guinea pigs, and even insects. I can’t get enough of critters and in my free time I am passionate about scientific illustration. I have grown up with cats and dogs so I’m very comfortable with feeding, walking, cleaning, and even administering medication if necessary. I am working part time post-graduate school as I publish my data and work on my art. I love an excuse to get out of the house and interact with animals, although I have two cute tabby kitties at home. I have a very flexible schedule, love to walk, and enjoy breaks throughout the day. I love to play with cats and dogs! I’ll chase them through the house, play fetch in the yard, or just lounge with a movie. I can accommodate different levels of activity and follow your house rules.
About: I’ve taken care of large dogs, small dogs, and cats of my own. I am happy to stop by to feed, walk, let out, bathe, etc. I work Monday-Thursday 6:30-5:00, and my fiancé works from home. All drop in visits and walks scheduled are provided by myself, but he takes care or most Day Care days. My fiancé works from home and can provide regular potty and exercise breaks. We have a fenced yard, however the fence is not the tallest. We can accommodate non-escape artists and require meet and greets for all Day Care participants. I am open to most requests for specified pet care, and I understand that certain pets will need more exercise than others, or may need training, etc. If you have any concerns regarding safety or specific needs, feel free to ask!
“We had Cassie do drop in visits for our two cats for a long weekend. They loved her visits! Both seemed to warm up to her right away. She took care of everything we asked and was very professional and reliable. We also really appreciated the Rover cards and pictures from every visit. I would definitely recommend Cassie and we would book her again!”

About: Dogs have always had a special place in my heart. I believe they are more than pets—they are family, loyal companions, and a source of unconditional love. Because they give us so much love and companionship, I’m passionate about giving them the same level of care, attention, and dependability in return. I’m a proud dog mom to two wonderful dogs, Beau and Sugar, who I love dearly. Caring for them has taught me how important consistency, patience, and responsibility are when it comes to caring for someone’s furry family member. I have a broad range of experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—from energetic Dachshunds to gentle Great Danes. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple dogs at once. I’ve successfully cared for four dogs on my own for an entire long weekend, keeping up with their individual routines, meals, exercise, medications if needed, playtime, and plenty of attention. Reliability is something I take seriously. When I commit to caring for your dog, you can count on me to be dependable, punctual, communicative, and attentive to their specific needs. I understand that your dog’s routine and well-being are important, and I’ll make sure they receive consistent care while you’re away or busy. Whether we’re out for a walk, getting some exercise, playing, exploring, or simply enjoying some company, I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind knowing your dog is in caring, responsible, and reliable hands—and to make sure your pup has a great time while they’re with me. 🐾❤️ I can easily manage a rotating schedule for all animal needs. Afternoons and weekends are the easiest for me to assist, but some mornings can be worked into a routine. Your pets are my pets when I’m with them. I treat all dogs with respect and kindness. I am able to care for your dogs in your home.
“Very reliable! Katie took excellent care of our cats, bearded dragon, frogs, hermit crab and fish while we were on vacation. She sent pictures every day and communicated about how they were doing.”

“Alexandra was wonderful when she furbaby sat for us a few weeks back. I was very much in a rush to find someone, because our original person canceled last minute. She came over for a meet and greet the day before we were set to leave and the pack instantly took to her. She will be furbaby sitting for us this weekend and we are so thankful to have found alenandra on rover ans not have to stress about our babies while being away. Thanks alexandra!”

“Mercedes did a great job! She let me know when she arrived at our house and left our house. She sent daily pictures and let me know how our Zoe was doing! I’d use Mercedes again!”
About: “God speaks to the creatures through the creatures.” -Dr. Chase. “All you need is love.” -John Lennon. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and understand how quickly pets become beloved members of the family. My passion for animal care led me to pursue a degree in Environmental Studies, where I deepened my understanding of the natural world and the creatures we share it with. After graduating, I dedicated my time to caring for pets at The Ruff House, a dog boarding and care facility. There, I gained hands-on experience working with animals of all ages—from energetic puppies to seniors requiring specialized support. I provide attentive, individualized care tailored to each pet’s unique needs, and I would love the opportunity to offer that same level of dedication to your pets. I work part-time, which allows me ample availability to care for your pets when you’re unable to. I’m available for pet care most days and am happy to coordinate a schedule that best fits your needs. I am available to care for your pet either in my home or in the comfort of their own. I do have one dog and one cat at home, so if your pet would be more comfortable in their own environment, I am more than happy to provide in-home visits. I’m flexible and committed to supporting you and your pet in whatever way best suits your needs.

I’m always going for walks and can take your pups on multiple a day! I can provide a safe, calm, and clean environment for pets. I live in a fairly large space with two doodles who are always looking for friends.

About: My mom’s friends have always trusted me to watch their pets. I have had to take care of senior dogs including my own having to give them their pills. After work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and the weekend until I can make enough money to do this full time! I want to be a able to quit my current job to do this full time! Giving them enough attention whether it be playing and taking them for walks getting them outside as much as possible. Feeding, bathing, training. Making sure to not leave them alone too long.
About: I have my puppy with Hydrocepilitis. People always ask me to sit with their dogs as they know dogs will be safe and happy with me I do Uber so my time is mine. I want to spend as much time with pets as possible as that's my passion and will make me and the pets happy I just moved to Seymour and would love to spend all my time with fur babies. I would love to lower my Uber and Doordash trips and replace that time with fur babies Being in Seymour, I can do from Appleton to Green Bay and everything in between I have my puppy and cat. I always have my dog and cat on either side of me. I talk to them and pet them constantly. They know they are loved

On Rover, sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets, and your pet’s specific needs. You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
