About: Hi, I'm Meghan! a lifelong animal lover that you can count on. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I've grown up with a variety of animals including: dogs (both big and small), cats (both outgoing and timid), as well as even the smallest of pets (like hamsters, bunnies, snakes, fish, and lizards) and I truly believe our pets are family. While most of my experience comes from caring for my own animals, I'm attentive, patient, and committed to following any and all instructions to keep your pet safe and happy while you're away. This includes any specific routines, medications, or favorite toys. I'll make sure everything runs smoothly just the way they like it. Whether you need someone to drop in, go for a walk, or provide overnight care, I'd love to help. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone new and I promise to treat them like my own. I work part-time over the summer but I still have availability for early mornings, afternoons, evenings drop-ins/walks and overnights on most days depending on location. About: I have worked with a lot of high energy dogs so I understand and am willing to do the work that is needed for them. I have also worked with dogs that have had traumatic pasts and have spent time working with them to trust their environment and other people. I am a teacher so I have summers off and weekends free. I am also free after school for those last minute date nights and outings. I have two high energy black labs so I am used to dogs that need long walks and lots of stimulation. I am very comfortable around big dogs as mine are both 80 lbs. I prioritize trust and comfort for the dogs I care for.
