I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! Not only did she take him in as one of her own, she helped safely build his confidence and helped him socialize with her gentle and well mannered dogs and cat of her own. I got multiple updates throughout the weekend, lots of pictures and best part is we were able to enjoy our best friend’s wedding because our worries were truly at ease knowing he was being taken care of by Laura. About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.

About: I have been dog sitting for over 20 years. Love dogs, and helping them have great experiences. I foster dogs, and volunteer at animal care clinics. I have two of my own pups, and a foster dog. I have schedule flexibility to provide care in your home, and there is a possibly of care in my home if all dogs get along. I have a fenced in potty area, and a huge yard. I strongly believe in positive training, positive reinforcement - I’ve taken training classes with my pups and foster pups in positive training methods and use that with all the dogs I engage with.

“Chad and Beth are absolute rockstars! They watched our dog, Dude, for five days and treated him like royalty—scratch that, like the spoiled couch potato he is. Communication was great, and we got daily updates that proved Dude was living his best life. They even let him sleep in their bed, which had to have meant they were clinging to the edge while Dude sprawled out like a king. We came home to a happy, healthy pup who may or may not have asked to move in with them. Highly recommend—just be warned: your dog might not want to come home. We’d absolutely use them again without hesitation.”

About: Not every dog is a good ol girl, some are good ol boys! I love animals and dogs are a huge part of my life. I enjoy learning the ways they speak to you without words and building trust through positive reinforcement. I’m well versed in puppy training and sr. dog care if needed. I currently work as a Real Estate agent and High School basketball coach which allows me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. The most I am away from my home is 4hrs at a time and will ensure your doggo will have the best time! I have just under an acre of land to play on if needed.
