“If I could give Nikki and William 10 stars I would. They go above and beyond each and everytime they care for my boys. They treat the pups as if they were their own and make sure that they are well taken care of. I had to go out of town for a family emergency at the last minute on Christmas, Nikki and William made sure my boys were ok. Due to a FedEx issue my boys food wasn’t delivered on time, Nikki and William went out of their way (I didn’t even ask, they offered!) to get them their dog food! Thank you both so much for being so incredibly kind and taking just wonderful care of Rolo and Tucker!”

About: I grew up on a farm caring for horses, cattle, dogs, cats, etc. I've worked in the veterinary field since 2006. I received my licensed veterinary medical technician (LVMT) certification in 2011 after attending Murray State University for their vet tech program. I've always had a connection with animals & a strong desire to help them. I can handle giving medications & any special care your fur baby may need. I'm typically available in the afternoons and some weekends. I'm able to assist my other Rover sitter friends if they need someone to fill in a visit. I occasionally work from home, so I'm more flexible on those days if you need drop in visits. I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible during our visits. Please let me know if you have any special instructions, if pets have favorite toys or activities.

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I graduated Austin Peay with a Bachelor’s in Agriculture and concentrated in Veterinary Technology. While I was in school, I worked at a boarding facility and daycare. I worked in an animal hospital for over 3 years until I had my son in November. I stay home with my son now as a full time mom. My veterinary experience allows me to administer medication, provide extraordinary care, and give lots of love! I currently am a stay at home mom to my son who was born in November! Our days are open and willing to help out families with their fur babies! I have 4 dogs of my own- 2 senior small girls, a senior lab (though she doesn’t act like it), and a middle aged silly boy! They are all friendly and welcoming to any animal in our home. I do have an unfenced yard but do have runners and will leash walk all animals in my yard. I am able to crate any animal if necessary.

“Lori is fabulous! She took EXCELLENT care of our babies. We even forgot to get a preferred treat for our dog to take her pills in and Lori went out of her way to get it so our girl wouldn’t be sad. She went above and beyond! All of our animals (even our most skittish cat) loved her immediately. Her daily updates after every visit made us feel so at ease during our trip. Also normally after a trip our babies are standoffish or SUPER clingy and they’re acting as if we haven’t even been gone. She made their lives feel normal and kept their routine. “Doug was great; he went above and beyond what was expected. There is some sibling rivalry between my two cats and he made sure both of them had a chance to eat by sticking around and feeding them in separate rooms if need be. He also kept an eye on the house, and kept me informed of any suspicious activity in the neighborhood, made sure our windows were locked, took out the trash, etc. He was very communicative and responsive. This definitely made me feel more at ease during our trip. When the Microsoft crash shut all the airlines down, he reached out to see if our flight was affected and said he could keep feeding the cats if needed. I would highly recommend Doug for other pet owners, and would definitely use his services again in the future.”

About: I've had dogs most my life until I met my wife and she converted me to a cat person. I have helped neighbors and friends take care of their fur babies for years. I have ample experience in taking care of elderly dogs and cats. I'm not afraid of messes, and pretty great at cleaning accidents when needed. About: At 61 years old, I bring a lifetime of experience caring for animals of all kinds—from birds to horses and just about everything in between. Over the years, I have fostered both dogs and cats and have shared my life with dozens of animals of my own, including squirrels, birds, and horses. Animals have always been at the center of my heart, and I would love the opportunity to share my passion, dedication, and love with your furry or feathered companions while you are away. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy, whether it’s stopping by for a quick visit, taking a dog for a walk, or staying overnight to keep them company. I also have four acres of safe, fenced pasture where dogs can run and play freely, which brings me as much joy as it does them. One of my favorite things is having a four-legged companion join me on hikes or simply spending quiet time together—it’s the kind of companionship that always feels special. I am typically available to sit Monday through Friday, however, I will consider weekends for walking, feeding, etc… I prefer overnight stays to be during the week if possible. I prefer caring for your precious pet in your home, walking, feeding and staying if you need me to. There may be times when I am able to bring your bed home with me for the day. I work on a case by case basis depending on the situation.
