“JaNiya is a phenomenal housesitter, especially if you have shy animals (but *any* animal would love her!). We have two skittish greyhounds and a very shy adopted cat. Within one day, our cat was sitting in JaNiya’s lap, and our dogs were relaxed and happy. I couldn’t believe it! She has such a calm, tender presence, and you can tell she adores animals. She’s even studying to be a veterinarian! Do not pass her up! She’s the only housesitter we’ll use from now on!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs for several years and truly love being around them! Before moving to Chattanooga, I cared for the same family’s dog for over two years, building a strong bond with both the pup and the family. I’ve also worked as a nanny, where I was responsible not only for the children but also for their family dog—making sure they were walked, fed, and loved. I now have a puppy of my own, so I understand the daily needs, attention, and patience dogs require at every stage. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family! I work during the weekdays, but I’m fully available in the evenings and at night for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I’m also completely free on weekends. In my home, pets get a safe, clean, and cozy space with lots of love and attention. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible. About: I have been an animal lover all my life. I have loved 2 dogs and 3 cats. I no longer have pets of my own but still love the care and company of other's. Besides helping to care for my elderly parent's 2 dogs on a regular basis, I have fursat for a friend's dog both in her home and in my home for years and have an upcoming stay with a personal client's 2 dogs. Rover is new to me but I can provide references. I work remotely allowing me to stay in a client's home if necessary and am flexible throughout the day to allow me to attend to the needs of your pets. I will work to adhere to your pet's schedule and help to be consistent in their care. In my home, animals are allowed on furniture and on the bed. I used to love cuddling and sleeping with my animals and miss it very much. I have a large yard but do have a highway in front of my house so prefer to keep dogs on the leash while outside. I live on a farm so can allow the dogs to run or play fetch, and a lake to swim in, if they are trained to return. We do have horses as well but prefer to keep dogs in a separate area. I am doing this from my love of animals and will give your pets the same love and care that I gave my own pets.

About: I've taken care of countless pets of all varieties. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, etc. I am incredibly compassionate and patient. I cater to all needs. I've never had a negative experience while watching an animal. And all my clients are totally happy and satisfied with my services. I make my own schedule so I am incredibly open and flexible. I do what ever I can to keep my animals and clients happy. I have a 3 bedroom, 1 story house, big fenced backyard and lots of toys. I have 2 friendly dogs here, who can be kept separate if necessary.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my family my whole life. I have sat in-home for other families for about 3 years now. I love animals and will treat your fur babies as my own! I also have experience with giving medication to dogs. I am available every day, including weekends and some holidays. I can be available for a quick drop-in or to stay in your home while you’re away. I am available to sit in your home. We can meet to go over any special care your pet may need and discuss any routines they may have.

About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs and cats. I love taking them for walks, the park or helping them learn to swim. I know the importance of giving dogs medications and taking them to appointments. I also keep dogs well groomed while I watch them I currently work full time 5 days a week but but will spend all my free time taking care of your pets. I will check on them throughout the day during work if needed I live in an apartment that has 1 bedroom. The apartment complex does allow animals. I have ring cameras in my place and outside my place to make sure I’m always able to see if my home and the animals are safe
