About: I grew up in a household housing pets all the time. I’ve had the opportunity to care for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, ducks, and a rabbit. I am familiar with animal’s nutrition and exercise needs. I’ve been able to carefully asses small injuries that can be treated at home and which ones require a visit to the vet. I’ve learned to pick up on the different personalities that each pet has and used it to ensure that each one is loved and in a happy environment. I’ve always been around pets, and I have a dog of my own named Khyzer (who is a very good boy!!). I also spend time researching how to properly feed and take care of different dogs based on their breed, size, age, and weight to gain more awareness. I am ready to care for your pet, have fun with them, and show them lots of love! I have a big and beautiful backyard for dogs to roam around and play! :D I never leave pets (including my own pets) unsupervised outside in my backyard (backyard only!! front yard has no fencing so it is dangerous). When we are inside, the same rules apply. Dogs and cats are just like children, so to help them out and to make pet parents feel comfortable and safe, I treat every dog with love and respect, while also supervising at all times. I love my own pets, and if I left them with someone I do not know, I would hope to have a sitter who truly loves and takes care of my pet properly. About: I love all kinds of dogs, little wild ones, big slow ones, big sporty ones. They just crack me up. I will treat your pet with the utmost love and care at all times and be communicative with you about any changes in behavior, possible issues. I've had dogs my whole life and have been doing urban pet care for almost 10 years. I clarify, cause farm dogs are a totally different animal and I wouldn't ever even try to leash one. Ha!! I look forward to hearing from you. -Kristy Most of my experience has been with my own pets. I've had cats or dogs (usually both) my entire life. Growing up on a farm they get into all kinds of trouble and frequently need special attention. I also frequently pet sit for friends, neighbors and former employers. I'm very responsible and will care for your pet as you request. No treats unless you say so and no sofa time unless that's ok with you. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs since I was a kid. I've always had animals in my life. Dogs, cats, chickens, a calf I bottle fed, horses... need I go on. Most of my dogs have been in the 60lb range. So I'm used to holding my ground and handling them when they get excited. Since I've been in LA, I have been a surrogate parent to my friend's dogs, but have had my cats Doodie (now with my ex) and Harris (my little southern girl). I also have a special gift for catching "runaway" pets when their owners can't. My experience administering medication Yes. I'm a master of the blow in the face to make them swallow their pills trick. I have also given shots before to a diabetic weenie dog.

“She was amazing, on time and my Dogs loved her”

About: I own my own grooming business from home which allows my hours to be very flexible. If your dog is in need of a grooming while boarding with me I will be more than happy to help! In my free time I love to volunteer at my local shelters and rescues to help network the pups! I only take one family at a time to ensure they get my full attention. They get their own sleeping area, beds, blankets, and treats are provided. We also always walk your pups 2 times a day depending on their age and energy level! We have a beautiful play yard where they will be most of the day and a quiet and peaceful sleeping area. I hope you join us and become apart of the family! I currently run a dog grooming business from my home which allows me to create and move around my own schedule when caring for other pups. I have a fenced yard that is 6ft. I provide daily walks and enrichment and I also offer grooming services for your pups before getting picked up. Located in Verdemont Heights CA, 92407

“Jason did great walking Blizzard, who I had just picked up off the streets a couple weeks before and wasn't very acclimated to his new life yet. He understands the importance of a meet and greet for new dogs, and paid great attention and care to my dog's personality and well-being and to earning his trust. It's clear that loves meeting and caring for dogs, has good instincts, and definitely cares about their well-being beyond just the walk; he helped work on Blizzard's walk commands and keep them consistent, and stayed a bit after walks to continue making friends. I had him walk Blizzard while I was out of town, and would normally walk him myself, but if I was unable to exercise him again I would definitely ask Jason to care for him again.”

“Brooke was great! Very professional and prompt. My pups were both very happy after their walk and snoozed the rest of the day. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been training and Handling dogs in the San Bernardino Mountains for the last 4 years, and I work from home providing training and pet care services. I have a life time of experience caring for all types of animals from hamsters to horses. I'm comfortable taking care of animals of all ages and providing medication or any special needs within my abilities. I have a large yard and regularly walk dogs around my neighborhood, Lake Gregory, and local trails. I am already home most of the day working with pups for training. Every dog gets outside time multiple times a day, walks or backyard time. For kitties I offer lots of pets, treats and meows. Dogs I can walk, play in the backyard, and get some treats. As far as in home drop ins or walks we are happy to come to your home and provide medication, walks, and lot of pets and love to your fur babies!

About: My experience with pets includes all types of critters ranging from two legged feathered ones, four legged scaly ones, to four legged furry ones. I'm the proud mommy of a very catty cat, and two sweet bunnies. My pets are part of my family, and that is exactly how I will treat yours as well. Having taught middle school students, I'm quite efficient at managing sometimes unpredictable schedules and different personalities. I'm very playful yet organized, and love working with all kinds of animals. I'm quite patient, and enjoy watching their personalities unfold as they get to know me better. I Have worked with old as well sick animals, so I am more than capable to handle any emergency should one occur. I can administer medications as well. My neighbor and I are both pet sitters, and we often work together as each other's backups. We also help each other with our own and our other neighbor's pet. Because of that, we offer to both come to the initial meet and greet so you can meet both of us. I generally require a meet and greet to make sure we can see if we are a match. To me, my clients are part of my extended family, and I prefer long-term clients over constantly rotating ones. Leaving pets behind is always stressful, and having a long-term relationship with a sitter makes the separation a lot easier for both the pet and the owner. As a freelance care provider and photographer, I couldn’t ask for a more rewarding way to spend my time around pets. Being able to create a flexible schedule enables me to not only spend time with my own pets and family, but also provides me with the energy to give my utmost attention and energy to your pets when they are in my care as well. I always stay at the clients house for overnight bookings, so your pets will have plenty of company. Safety and comfort are always priority. During my time as a teacher, I learned that clear communication is key to any successful relationship. I require a free meet and greet before accepting any request. The meet and greet is a great time for you, your pet, and me to get to know each other, and discuss any routines and special considerations. I also request that you provide a written list of all important information including feeding and walking schedules, and a list of emergency contacts and veterinary information. My grandmother taught me, “it’s better to be safe than sorry”, and I am grateful to take this lesson with me into my profession.

“Nicole is my neighbor of almost a decade, and we have been helping each other with our pets for ages. She is very responsible, extremely easy-going, and a fun person in general. She is amazing with pets, and very resourceful. We have hawks in the neighborhood, and she put together an outside enclosure that she needs to take down every time again for her two bunnies that protects them from any attacks. She’s great at clipping their nails, which is an art in itself, and is great at supporting our elderly neighbor with the care of her pet. She is an incredibly competent and compassionate human being. I can guarantee you that you don’t go wrong with Nicole, and that you can rest assured she will treat your pets like family, as she does with ours.”
