About: Hi! My name is Amber. I am a teacher-turned-author looking to serve your every doggy need. Growing up, I thought I wanted to be a Vet. I spent every Saturday volunteering at the Ross Country Humane Society from ages 10-18 and was part of the Humane Society of the United States Advisory Board. I have spent thousands of hours with animals in shelters/rescues. After much prayer and consideration, God led me to writing instead of Veterinary work. I have experience in pet and house sitting, boarding, and walking. I love pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes, but have a particular soft spot for goldendoodles. About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I could remember. Been around Great Danes to yorkies and love them all. I also have a cat and dog of my own both I’ve rescue and adore. I’ve also trained my dog, I’ve had her since she was 7 months old. I train with positive attitude and treats. I was relied on by family and friends to watch, walk and feed their pets. Occasionally would do some basic training to help keep up and of course cuddles. My pets are friendly with other animals, my dog gets excited when she gets to meet new friends and then goes about her business. I also have a crate for my dog if anything. I try to give the visiting pup a chance to sniff around first and get warmed up before I let my dog meet her. Allows both dogs to calm down and be relax by then.
