I treat every animal as if it's one of my own. From dogs to cats, rodents to reptiles, ducks to goats, and from newborn to senior, sick or in good health, I have cared for and nurtured just about any domesticated animal throughout all stages of life and am here to make sure that, no matter what, each and every animal is as happy as can be, because they deserve it. Four years ago, I lost my dog, Sugar, who I had since I was nine years old. We grew up together, and she meant everything to me. I've been trying to figure out how to fill that void ever since she left, but it's been tough man. Then I came across Rover. Now, I get to spend time with everyone else's dogs, and I see Sugar in every single one of them, which makes me want to give them the time of their lives. I appreciate everyone letting me watch after their pets. Most people do this for money; I do it, genuinely, because I love animals. Not just dogs, not just cats, but everything else in between. I've worked on farms and at pet stores, volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats and rabbits, and even bred rodents for years - not to sell, but rather, just to care for and love. So this definitely is not limited to just canine and feline friends. I will care for any kind of animal. I have experience with them all. I work as a supervisor on 3rd shift right across the street from my house at a pet food manufacturing plant, making it super easy to take great care of your pet even throughout the night. I am home all day from 8am until 10pm, so there is really not much time ever where I won't be able to give your pet the care that it needs! I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your dog to run outside freely and plenty of room inside as well for a dog or cat or any other animal to roam about and go wherever their little heart desires. I have a young indoor cat who is very friendly and playful, a senior cat who stays in hiding, as well as two pet ducks that roam the yard who love friends. They have an enclosure of their own to lock them in if you are unsure of how your pet may react to ducks.

About: I absolutely love all animals. I worked as a veterinarian assistant for many years at the Vestal Veterinary hospital. I still work there as the lead pharmacist. I have had some behavioral training with my own dogs. I will be able to tend to any kind of special needs your fur/feather babies might have. Im experienced in everything from naughty puppies to medicating our needy seniors, even our spicy kitties lol. I have two rescue dogs Pearl and Chief along with Flocki our Cockatoo, they are my best friends. I know there are many animals that can't be boarded for a wide variety of reasons. Im here to help. Unfortunately one of my rescue dogs does not do well with outside dogs. I work 9 to 6 Monday through Friday. I can come to your house before and after work, possibly on lunch. I can stay at your house while you are away. My children are grown and can take care of my home while I care for yours. I would be happy to follow any dietary needs your pet may have. If your pet needs medications I can ensure you your pet will get their medication no matter how difficult the task. I will be compassionate and understanding that your pet is scared and misses you and doesn’t know who I am. I will show your pet all the extra love they need while your away.

About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm. A half hour lunch long lunch where I can leave to care for your furries in the middle of the day depending on the distance. Dogs will be crated when I’m not home. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. My household only has one vehicle at the moment so I would have to work around when my partner needs a ride to work and when I need to pick him up. About: Your crazy dog stories could never top mine! Dog mom of over 15 years. Currently have a 3 yr old high energy dog. Comfortable caring for any animal of any age. I love all fur babies like my own! I am currently working full-time at night, 5 nights a week. Available mostly any day prior to 3:30pm. Overnights wouldn’t be possible, but could check on your pups before & after work! I am very well versed with all doggy situations. My current situation is not ideal for a dog to come to my home, but checking on yours in their “safe” environment works best!

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets since the age of 13. I have worked with all ages from young and untrained to senior animals with special needs. I am a trusted animal care employee for many families in my home town. I am a current college student with a lot of time on my hands! I only have classes Monday-Thursday for a few hours between 11-2. I have a fenced in yard in the back of my house that is well taken care of. There are no other dogs or cats in the house. I love taking animals on walks and playing around with them. About: I’ve always had household dogs&cats as well as taken care of friends/family’s pets since I was about 13. From my brothers labs,huskies and beagles, to cousins large and protective Rottweilers, to good friends hyper anxious dog with a cancer diagnosis. About: Aside from over 20 years of experience caring for my own family pets, I have majored veterinary science, have worked in a veterinary clinic, and have previously provided foster care for sick, injured, malnourished, pregnant, nursing, and infant dogs. As such, I am able to handle any situation that may arise with your pet. I am comfortable administering medications and treatments if needed. I am willing to provide basic grooming services such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for an additional fee. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so you can be confident your dog will have plenty of walking and outdoor play time with me. I am happy to care for a wide variety of pets, not just dogs. I love all animals, but unfortunately cannot have any of my own right now, so I would love to play with yours!
