“Crystal took great care of Ford. He loved going out to her place - so many pups to play with. She sent lots of pictures and updates throughout his time. Will use again :)”

“Ashlee was great! Our sweet Raven warmed right up to her and her family, and was treated like one of their own fur babies. Ashlee was wonderful when our trip got extended by almost a full day, and kept us updated with pictures and videos. Would love to let Raven stay again in the future!”

“Bethany and her family took great care of Lacey! I felt very comfortable leaving her in their care. I appreciated the flexibility in drop of and pick up times. The photos and updates were great!”

“Emily and Jim took great care of our dog on short notice. It is so nice to find a family that will take wonderful care of your pet. Highly recommend and will use again. Thank you!”

About: I've had dogs for almost 30 years. I understand their temperament, needs, and can recognize when they're in need. I've bred dogs, so I've cared for them from pregnancy, to infancy, to end of life. I've had dogs since I was a child, so they are always factored into my daily routine. I live 10 minutes from base and I set my own hours, so I can come home to take care for them as frequently as needed. My dogs have access to food and water 24/7. I own my home and have a fenced in back yard. I'm military with a clearance, so my trustworthiness is undeniable. I live a stable life, so clients don't have to worry about their pet while they're at my home.
“Maria was AMAZING. She was super flexible and accommodating for our corgi and golden retriever. She sent photos and updates every day, and just loved them as her own. We felt so relieved and happy to leave them in her care. 100/10 recommend!”

“I had Jennifer keep my little guy over night, and want to say that she is just the person for the task. She loves dogs, and I knew she’d take care of him like her own. And upon pick up he was happy and taken care of! Thanks Jennifer!”

“Frida took such good care of our Lucy! She updated us frequently with pictures! It was so great to know she was getting spoiled and cuddled while she stayed there. Would definitely recommend Frida for exceptional care and love for your pet while you are away!”

“Mariah was absolutely wonderful with Doja! She treated her like she was her own and really made her feel like part of the family. Doja is still young and VERY energetic, so I was honestly a little nervous about leaving her, but Mariah was amazing with her. She had nothing but good things to say about Doja and made me feel so comfortable knowing she was being well taken care of. It was obvious that Doja was happy, loved, and spoiled while she was there. I will definitely be booking with Mariah every time we need someone to watch Doja. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of her! 🐾❤️”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful with our 7-month-old puppy, Leia! She kept us updated throughout our time away with frequent messages and lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Leia was well cared for, happy, and getting plenty of love and attention. We really appreciated Samantha’s communication and the care she showed. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Carol was awesome - super easy to work with, went above and beyond, and our dog always looked so happy and well cared for in the picture she shared. She was a total joy, and we immediately added her to the top of our rebook list!”

“We can not be more pleased with how much Love Dara showed our Geriatric Deaf Boxer. Everyday she would send pictures and updates. Will definitely use her for every sitting need. Our pup can't wait to visit again.”

“We left our puppy Indy with Kaylee for a week. Kaylee put our worries to rest. She did such a great job with her. Pictures everyday and a quick message on how she was doing. Indy LOVES the other (2) dogs at Kaylee's house and almost didn't want to come home. That's both good and bad! LOL. We will continue to use Kaylee and recommend her to everyone! Thanks Kaylee!”

“Bosun loves to stay with Nina! She is so attentive to him and informs us on a regular basis of their time together. She treats Bosun as if he is her own baby boy dog! We couldn’t be happier with the care he gets. Thank you Nina!”

“We couldn't be more impressed with the incredible care Daniel provided for our two dogs during their stay. From the very beginning, Daniel was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about animals. Our dogs immediately felt at ease around him — which says a lot, as one of them is usually a bit shy with new people. Throughout the entire boarding period, Daniel kept us updated with daily photos and messages, showing just how happy, active, and loved our pups were. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. Daniel went above and beyond — ensuring they got plenty of playtime, maintained their feeding routine, and even picked up on their unique quirks and personalities. When we picked them up, they were relaxed, well-exercised, and clearly had a wonderful time. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely gifted when it comes to animals, Daniel is *the* person to call. We are beyond grateful for the phenomenal job he did and won’t hesitate to book with him again! Thank you, Daniel, for treating our dogs like family!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wyoming home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wyoming.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wyoming sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
