While serving in the Navy, I volunteered at military kennels, and later worked at a doggy daycare/boarding/training facility in Texas. About: I have grown up loving dogs my entire life. I was lucky enough to have two of my own Lucy and Wilson who were truly part of my family and meant everything to me. Since coming to college I have not been around dogs at all and I miss that connection more than I realized. About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals since I started high school. I grew up with dogs, cats and poultry and those are the animals I’ve taken care of most. I’m comfortable with senior care for sure but young puppies and extremely young kittens are outside of my comfort zone. I’m currently commuting to SU for this last semester and finishing off a major doesn’t allow for a lot of job opportunities that were available previously due to the amount of at-home work required.
